OMG, I've got my induction at the gym tomorrow. 10am. I used to go but it's been so long that I've got to have another induction session. And I am so unfit, it's going to be very .

But the good news is that swimsuit fits (though the cups are a bit big around my boobs) and looks quite good, as swimsuits go So I can go swimming on Sunday

HellHathNoFury · 06/02/2009 19:56

Doggus is on Oct 2009 ante-natal thread btw

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/02/2009 20:25

Beautiful doggus, I love her!

Glad you are ok fury, but 5-6am?! I think I'd be dead by now!!

keepingitRia · 06/02/2009 20:41

hi fury.

well done foxy and jammy

I have just been to morrisons and been frugal (I think, more so than I usually am on a Friday anyway) couldn't get any mince though, so I'll make a stew for Sunday after our walk.

Poor DS can't understand why he isn't getting the bollocking of his life and keeps asking whay his punishment is. I have decided to be calm and consider his punishment and the talking to he got when he got home from school enough. And no chewing gum this week. It's acutally easier to be calm...

doggus · 06/02/2009 20:49

OH MY GOD! I am SO excited - I have found you all! Holly thank you so much for locating me, I didn't know this thread existed, how lovely.

Right I am going to read it all now. I do hope you haven't all gone and got new names!

I am fine, Arthur is 19 months and I am pg again. Mad lunacy as I am terrified of having two, I can barely cope with ds. I am terribly early on - only 6 weeks, so am having a scan next week. Still living in Poole, still working from home with dh, in financial markets, which as you can imagine have been a bloodbath.

Hello to you all! beaming smile

Ohforfoxsake · 06/02/2009 20:56

Welcome back to the fold Doggus! Lovely to see you, and congratulations

LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2009 20:58

I've been to sainsbury's and have not managed to be frugal . But I went on the spur of the moment with no list and no meal plan so was just throwing things in the trolley and bumble kept crying.

We have been very frugal this week though as haven't been able to get to the shops so have been eating everything that wasn't nailed down.

I've linked us for doggus.

well done on the weight loss foxy and jammy

arse for DS ria

arse for you natty

double helping of arse for you holly. I'd be tempted to go and key her car in the middle of the night

lol at E brushing the babies hair tallulah; DD tries to brush bumble's with a sticklebrick and blessssss on her murmuring sweetie pie

glad things are OK fury but sorry you have all been ill.

have i missed anyone??

LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2009 21:00

woohoo doggus, you found us

lots of new arrivals here; I had Finlay at the beginning of November (he's 14 weeks tomorrow ) so only a 17 month gap. It's challenging but getting to the point where it's good fun.

Congratulations again

Ekka · 06/02/2009 21:02

hi all, just posting so I have a link - haven't forgotten you....

We're all ill here again, Ds has had a constant cold since he was born, but this am he was working hard with his breathing & off his food so after shouting asking politely at the doctors we got to see our doctor and were immediately sent to A&E. Spent the entire day there being monitored. Luckily we've no more medicines for him, its just a 'wait & see' situation, so hopefully he will pick up soon, I'm knackered. Going to bed now, can't keep my eyes open. I'll read the posts tomorrow to try and catch up with all that I've missed.

doggus · 06/02/2009 21:03

DOH - on telling you ds' age, like you didn't know!

Have skim read the thread, I recognise you all by your not-so-cryptic-thankfully name changes but who is norty?

doggus · 06/02/2009 21:05

Daisy - massive congrats on Finlay and what a gorgeous name! Thank you for being positive, you would not believe how many people have said 'ooh, two, three times the work of one'.

Who else has re-sprogged?

doggus · 06/02/2009 21:07

Sputnik, holly and daisy - just been back to the other thread, you've made me look so POPULAR!

LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2009 21:07

can't remember norty's original name, but she joined us post-natally. As did Ekka and a couple of others.

LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2009 21:08
Grin
LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2009 21:10

sorry Ekka, I didn't read your post

Poor DS . Is it bronchiolitis/RSV? there have been lots of the November babies struck with it. I hope he picks up soon.

keepingitRia · 06/02/2009 21:57

hi doggus, welcome back. and congratulations

poor DS Ekka, hope you get some rest and things are better soon.

I think Norty was charlie9 or something?

kids in bed. I forgot when I shot off to the supermarket that I had stripped ours and DS1s bed this morning, so had to put sheets on before they could go to bed. Now I have the shopping to put away. maybe I'll just eat most of it to save myself a job.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 06/02/2009 22:25

wb doggus, do have a memory of you, but i disapeared around the time we a had our babies, cos i moved house.
i expecting as well, its my third, will have 3 under 4! lol im mad i know.

we havent been very good at frugal shopping, snow means cant get to the shops.

daisy cant believe bumble is going to be 14 weeks, seems like yesterday u had him!

im gonna go bed now, but chat to you all tomorrow.

Night x

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/02/2009 22:44

Just PMSL at Ria eating all the shopping to save herself a job! Sounds like a plan.

Good to have you back doggus, it feels like old times now! Congrats on being pg again. Yes, two is a million times more work than one, but also a million times more fun! I am waiting til my dcs get to the age where they can play together nicely, then my work shall be done !

I'm off to bed, dp is snoring on the sofa, so if I sneak off to bed now he might just stay there all night !!

keepingitRia · 06/02/2009 22:55

I haven't eaten all the shopping - some of it needs cooking, and then there's the cat food...

baggins is actually in his cot tonight a whole night with no DCs in my bed would be blissful. and if DH falls asleep in the car in the carpark at work again...

keepingitRia · 06/02/2009 22:57

I made the mistake of looking at the pics of Nortys gorgeous bundle earlier. I am feeling ... wistful

no-one would notice just one more little one surely?

Bumperslucious · 06/02/2009 23:14

Weeeell look what the cat dragged in !

Just popping in to say hi quickly before bed. Just skimmed though and saw that Doggus has returned to the fold. They always return to mumsnet hahahahahahahahaha! Congrats Doggus, good to see you again!

Fury, how's things? You didn't come back and tell us how you were after your scare? (Or I misssed you)

I've been busy crocheting tonight after my lovely knitting group. I've made a little corsage

Gotta go to bed though. DH was very good and let me have the last hour before DD went to myself in the bedroom with the laptop so I watched Sex and the City and did my crocheting.

OP posts:
keepingitRia · 07/02/2009 10:26

aargh, Saturday again.

Trying to snow here

keepingitRia · 07/02/2009 11:22

lol I love him

should I go out and buy DS1 some new shoes (just found a split in the top under the layers of mud) or should I make them do for another week and see if Dsis still wants to go to the new clarks outlet again in half term? and are Clarks shoes a no-no for seconadary school?

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/02/2009 12:12

Welcome back Doggus. I too have 're-sprogged' TWICE. So now have DD @ 19 months & 5 1/2 week old twin girls. 3 under 2 - AAARRRGGGH! Nice to see you back & congrats on the pregnancy.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 07/02/2009 13:30

Hi everyone. And hello Doggus. I don't think we've "met" before, as I only joined post-natally.

Well, I had my intro at the gym this morning, and was impressed that the guy didn't make me feel like a fish out of water for being this fat bird at the gym, didn't treat me like I was stupid, and actually listened to what I wanted (unlike the bloke who did my intro when I joined a few years back). So I've got a short but intense circuit training programme that he says will build strength and burn fat! I just need to book jamlet into the creche and I'm good to go on Thursday

Ria - LOL at the Clarkson story
