Sorry Jas but I had to laugh at ds doing that, they're little blighters eh dh stayed at home with the kids whilst I worked yesterday and dd2 tried his patience somewhat

EPPM congratulations welcome to ds. Hope your both doing well and dd has stopped asking the death questions and is happy with her new little brother.

CSWS for poorly dd, plus the lack of grocery delivery, not what you need.

Flame, take it car is sorted then?

Phoenix, for the UTI, hope the anti b's fix it quickly. We got stuck up your way last night, well we ended up in a hotel at J41, as on way upto drop ss off, the M1 got down to one lane, due to snow on road, then just before Barnsley turn on Southbound, there was a bus on its side, that que'd all the way back to ss's junction.....so we weigh'd up sitting in the snow, in a jam with two small upset kids in the car and figured a hotel and a pub meal was the better option! We got up at 6am and got home for 8.15 this am, just in time to bung dd1 into school the snow scuppered our trip to Brum for Spring Fair today though, we might brave it tomorrow? will see, rather a lot of snow here at the moment.

Jas · 02/02/2009 21:51

Yes, once I discovered that I could rescue my dinner, I laughed, to

Jas · 02/02/2009 21:53

He coloured in my computer monitor with dps permanent marker yesterday. Thankfully dp has magic remover stuff.

It also got the regular felt tip pen off the laminate floor and windowsills.

Where am I going wrong? The dds were never like this!

Flamesparrow · 02/02/2009 22:01

He is a boy. They are evil.

Frizbe · 02/02/2009 22:01

at colouring in the monitor, dd2 hasn't tried that yet....dd1 managed to colour the wall once, dd2 hasn't tried it yet, but give her time....

Jas · 02/02/2009 22:10

All of mine have coloured the walls I've given up caring....I never let them have crayons, and paint over it every now and then.....that is why all my walls are (supposed to be) white.

Flamesparrow · 02/02/2009 22:13

"Coloured the wall once"

mustrunmore · 03/02/2009 10:24

Congrsts EPPM, poor you phoenix.
Dont worry, I have monster drawing child from hell

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2009 11:08

I do hope that ds isn't a random drawer, now that we've had most of the house decorated.

Dd sick a tiny bit this morning, but after a bf again, so am now thinking that she's just taking too big a feed first thing. Greedy pup .

Sun is up and snow melting, so maybe school will actually be open tomorrow . Another TV day in the meantime .

Dd's new shutters currently being fitted in her room .

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2009 11:08

Presume you're not coming at the weekend mrm?

mustrunmore · 03/02/2009 11:17

oops, sorry, did i not say that we cant make it? Sorry csws on the plus side, you wont hae ds2 drawing all over your house

mustrunmore · 03/02/2009 13:58

In theory, is it possible to get from your house to Watford on a sunday morning Tabs? I'm guessing prob not as its the middle of nowhere

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2009 14:16

With a car it's easy .

mustrunmore · 03/02/2009 14:32

Er, yeah, but I dont have a car! You loony.

Flamesparrow · 03/02/2009 15:53

So would it be easy in say, my car?

Snow day today. Took the kids out a bit further and played on toboggans. Nearly all melted now but a fabulous day

mustrunmore · 03/02/2009 16:16

Ah, my lovely Flame. Is this a good time to tell you i need to be there by 9am if I go??!!I might really seriuosly need to you to do that favour I asked you by texct you know, the one in April. I need it to be someone I'mvery comfy with

Flamesparrow · 03/02/2009 16:54

April thing doesn't bother me - the being there by 9am thing may bother me How far away is it, and can I come back to CSWS's for a cuppa?

Bear in mind with April I may be pg, which again doesn't bother me but could well affect you.

Phoenix · 03/02/2009 17:00

My train cake tin just came, guess what i'll be doing tomorrow

Ds is currently playing in the small cardboard box my order came in, showing little interest in the picture of the train cake, apart from saying 'ooo train' then running off with the box

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2009 17:12

It's about half an hour away (or more, depending where in Watford).

Dare I say that I think you're being a little too obsessed, and a bit selfish if you do expect flame to run you there at that time of the morning.

Jas · 03/02/2009 17:59

Oh, are you both staying over for the birthday?

( but still can't come)

Too far t go and drp off and go back for a cuppa, I think.

Flamesparrow · 03/02/2009 18:18

Not for the birthday, but I know the reasons and I am the one volunteering for this one

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/02/2009 19:08

Dd so pleased with her new shutters and matching duvet cover + pillowcase, but she's just been sick all over the bedding (she asked to go to bed early), after feeding from me again . Don't know why my bm is affecting her like this, but I am ill as well now. If it's a D&V bug then she has the V and I have the D. Praying that we are all better by the weekend.

Flamesparrow · 03/02/2009 19:29

CSWS {{{{Hugs}}}}}

Flame for the snow day, we didn't get one, so dh and I went to Spring Fair at the NEC instead, the roads were clear, but hardly anyone on them, as west mids news was advising people to stay at home dh watched that this am (we can get west upstairs and east downstairs!) and didn't want to go, but i made him ring his bro, who said, don't be daft, thankfully he was right have to say am shattered now though, why does walking around stalls make you so tired?
