she is aasleep already- teatime and bathtime were hellish tonight.

DriedOutPlaydough · 09/03/2009 19:29

DriedOutPlaydough · 09/03/2009 19:30

iirc Pippa had accidents too. It will get better.

Phoenix · 09/03/2009 19:32

Thanks for that EPPM . Something to look forward to . Ds is tantruming alot lately too. I think its tiredness with him.

DriedOutPlaydough · 09/03/2009 19:35

DS is hell atm

Jas · 09/03/2009 19:55

DS is an absolute star

mustrunmore · 09/03/2009 19:56

ok I have green&blacks dark choco x2, and terrys All Gold x2 cos its half price in sainsburys

Jas · 09/03/2009 19:56

Not.

But he is getting away with it this week as he has a bad cold. Making him walk everywhere is helping.

mustrunmore · 09/03/2009 19:58

you sure you dont want me to bring a bottle of vodka to use it up?! Of half a bottle of gin? Or some Iceland's own Malibu Or 2 bottles of bucks fizz?!

mustrunmore · 09/03/2009 19:59

ds2 had a great tantrum over cutting his kiwi fruit the wrong way last night.

Phoenix · 09/03/2009 20:07

Ds' tantrum today was because he didn't want to eat his tea but didn't want me to throw it in the bin either . He screamed and carried on for more than half an hour.

mustrunmore · 09/03/2009 20:08

lol, ds1 still does that sopmetimes and he's 5. sorry to give you the bad news!!

Phoenix · 09/03/2009 20:11

Children are strange.

EachPeachPearMum · 09/03/2009 20:26

why do they need everything 'just so'? dd tantrummed because she didn't want to brush her teeth, but when I rinsed the brush she tantrummed because she wanted to brush them. (well, and because she didnt want to get out of the bath, or put her bathrobe on, or her vest, or pjs, or her nappy, or use her mat, or cut her toenails, or anything else really.)

on the alcohol front- I still have a cabinet of delights if anyone wants anything- vodka, vanilla vodka, erm not sure what else.

So- csws -I have a tub of 'pure' in the fridge- is that okay to make dairy-free GB? If I get normal baguettes from supermarket, are they likely to have anything dairy in them? (thinking whey or something- they slip crap into allsorts really)

Jas · 09/03/2009 21:07

pure is ok. Not sure about bread, I'd ask in the shop.

DS doesn't tantrum he just destroys things.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/03/2009 22:03

Yes, dd also starting wetting again when ds was born. Seems to be very common. Sounds like your dd is getting as difficult as mine now EPPM. Sorry to say that we haven't resolved her issues 5 months on.

I always check with bakery bread EPPM, as you just never know. Don't panic about trying to prepare stuff beforehand with a baby and dd to look after - just bring bits with you and we can do it all together. Pure is fine.

Nappies flame - dunno really. Something not too bulky, as have fluffles already for that! And v absorbent, as he's a heavy wetter. Have nappy nippas, but happy with velcro or poppers too (is there an option I've overlooked?!). And obv a nice colour/pattern if poss .

EachPeachPearMum · 10/03/2009 01:02

your dd is no better yet? Don't know if I can take anymore screaming in the night... at least my ds seems a little more easy to deal with.

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 07:38

will rummage through boxes and bring a random selection to choose from

Phoenix · 10/03/2009 11:05

Am def going to Meadowhall so will report any purchases later

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 13:28

some customer getting arsey that her order hasn't arrive yet. I have been having issues just functioning with life this weekend, let alone orders, plus it says in the shipping section and checkout complete page that orders can take 5-7 working days .

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 14:09

yay for meadowhall though

(am calmer now)

Phoenix · 10/03/2009 16:01

Flame - These are the ones i got, are they right? cos i just looked on Crocs site and there's 2 types of Batman ones.

Csws - They had none for you and no wellies sorry

Friz - For girls they only really have sizes 4/5, 6/7 and some 8/9. I asked them to check if they had any Mickey ones size 10/11 in the back for Flames dd, they said they had a few 10/11 but not Mickey ones.

mustrunmore · 10/03/2009 17:19

Ok, so got a swimmiung party to get back for on Sunday, but not till 1pm luckily. Dont fancy being hungover in water tho

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 17:41
