Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Jas · 10/03/2009 19:08

I can still drop you off at train/tube/bus stop/house if you want mrm
I will need to leave in the morning any way.

mustrunmore · 10/03/2009 19:19

What time do you actually need to leave Jas? Cos that sunday class may be back on now ie in Enfiled, but i dont wanna put you out of your way, esp as its been on off on off But id its on, i can make it fom there straihgt to swim party as log as dh tskes the boys and my swimstuff and meets me there, which will terrify him!

Why amI he only person that doesnt see a point to crocs? Explain why they're so grwat, please. To me, its just like when everyone wanted a jelly bag at secondary school, then realised they werent very pracrtical for winter

Jas · 10/03/2009 19:41

My current plan is to drop you in Enfield, then go on into holloway, and still be home for late lunch

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2009 19:43

Crocs are comfortable for those of us with enormously wide feet. That's the attraction for me. Even some of their styles are too narrow mind, but the ones that I wear are lovely and big. And they can go in the dishwasher, so no faffing about with polish. Not always the most stylish shoes I'll admit, but comfort wins over style for my feet.

EPPM - dd is a bit better, but dh goes up to bed with her and stays until she is asleep, and then (if he hasn't fallen asleep himself by then ) he comes down for the rest of the evening, and then goes and sleeps in her room for the night. Have no idea how we'd cope if he was away at the moment.

Jas · 10/03/2009 19:45

That is assuming I can get hold of my friend and she will be in to visit on Sunday am.

Ds is poorly He was up every 2-3 hours last night and has slept nearly all day. Not eating or drinking or taking calpol It is just a bad cold, but has totally knocked him for six.

Phoenix · 10/03/2009 19:51

Oooh didn't know crocs could go in the dishwasher. I've got some but only really wear them in the house. Ds never has them off his feet in the summer.

for poorly ds Jas.

It's a good job dh isn't working this weekend as my parents have just informed me they are going away for the weekend so i wouldn't have been able to come but dh is off so will be having ds

mustrunmore · 10/03/2009 19:52

Ah, well thats why we dont wear them... no dishwasher

DriedOutPlaydough · 10/03/2009 20:05

For me it is just for the children - they go on and off really easily, doesn't matter if they get wet etc.

Phoenix · 10/03/2009 20:10

Just got a text off her saying 'hi jo, hope u all ok and u feeling better. Hope to see u soon, luv ? and ? x'

We haven't seen them since just before ds' birthday and they didn't even come here then, we went there to collect his birthday cards. We invited them to his birthday tea and they were coming up to an hour before when they sent dh a text to say they weren't coming. Ds was dissappointed . Ds said to me the other day 'I miss grandma and grandad. They didn't come to my birthday party did they?' That just shows how much he remembers and picks up on.

I feel like replying 'yes we're all ok, have you forgot where we live?' Dh says i can't.

God knows why she's even texted me, she never has before, always usually dh.

She makes me so

Sorry rant over.

Phoenix · 10/03/2009 21:27

Ooops my moaning killed the thread, come back everyone.

Jas · 10/03/2009 22:26

I'm here. Just finished changing ds' bed after he was sick

MIL sounds a nightmare. It has taken me years but I just accept that mine doesn't even remember her own grandchildrens names, now.

Frizbe · 10/03/2009 23:39

{{Hugs}} for the crap in laws Phoenix and thanks for the heads up on the Crocs store Phew re this weekend too

{{{Hugs}}} for the poorly kids out there.

Can't believe how much you guys have talked since I last logged on

EachPeachPearMum · 11/03/2009 03:18

We do chat a lot, don't we?
Nearly as bad as the veggers! We're a quiche, aren't we?

Jas · 11/03/2009 07:06

We aren't going t make it to free nursery time before we need a new thread

Ds has drunk some milk

mustrunmore · 11/03/2009 09:36

My mil cant remember what her own children did, let alone names of grandchildren. there's nothing wrong withher memory in that way, she's just crap cos she had so amny kids! Dh broke every bone in his right hand, and she cant remember it happening for example.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/03/2009 09:58

Taking DS to children's hosp today for hip scan- has been v clunky... though seems better this week, of course
DD only woke once last night - no screaming, just asking for water, as she has a cough, poor girl.
Doesn't help my sleep, but it was nice not to have to battle her back to bed. She did get up at 6:45 this morning though, which is pretty early for her.

She was much calmer this morning, which was lovely.

Jas · 11/03/2009 19:05

Good news re dd EPPM.

How did it go at the hospital?

DS slept all day again But is at least drinking a little bit today.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/03/2009 19:37

He screamed all the way through... but we got the all-clear
He has been howling all pm, too gah. Needs to poo...

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/03/2009 20:21

Yay for all clear EPPM, and for slightly improved boy Jas.

Have done duvet check. As long as Friz brings her airbed and duvet/sleeping bag, we are sorted. We even cleared a space to put her today .

EachPeachPearMum · 11/03/2009 21:25

So no sleeping bags needed?
Am slightly worried about how much I'll need to bring for ds...
I know you'll have stuff should I forget something... went out without his changing bag the other day , doh!
Right- off to bed, he's finally asleep.

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/03/2009 21:32

Will you need to bring a lot for him EPPM? I find they travel much lighter at this age. We seem to take the kitchen sink every time we go anywhere with dd! No, no sleeping bag required.

Frizbe · 11/03/2009 21:32

yay I'm not going to be outside like the dog? am I?? hello???

EPPM yay for no clicky hips

Jas for poorly boy

Flame have you caught ds doing anything else very naughty today?

Our house spider is back from his winter hibernation! came out for his lap of the living room last night, much to the amusement of dh and me, I think the spider thinks dd2's new dolls house is his own mini house honestly you have to see our spider to belive it, he doesn't do normal spider things.....I reckon it may be a spy spider, not a real live fly eating one, it just doesn't do spidery things!

Phoenix · 11/03/2009 21:40

Has anyone thought of anything i can bring?

csws - If you get a sec can you email me your address again please. Just postcode should do, i've got a better SatNav this time .

for slightly improved ds Jas.

for no clicky hip EPPM.

We've been to Chester Zoo today. Thought we'd get a nice day out for ds before i go back to work or i'm too big to waddle round .

mustrunmore · 11/03/2009 22:00

Ooo, I saw that phoenix; I love Chester Zoo Very close to home!

csws, you gonna be offended if I bring juiced stuff and fruit to eat, as I'm piling on the pounds due to lack of aerobics, and I'm on another juice detox really excepting soup

Intrigued as to what stuff dd has to take places... I'm loving it now the boys are old enough to take almost nothing anywhere . I could literally go empty handed with them and do a runner somewhere and be fine

Frizbe · 11/03/2009 22:34

MRM 'slap' really give yourself a day off/a break, I'm sure a teeny bit of pizza won't kill you(n lots of salad!)
