meant to say csws- the pic of dd on your fb profile is just gorgeous!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/03/2009 21:21

Thanks EPPM. It was taken on her birthday. Have you checked out the video of ds that I added today?

BandMeeting · 02/03/2009 22:07

We'll be fiiiiiiiine with babies.

Am I still ok to come on 13th? I have an appointment in Southampton at 4.30pm, so was thinking I would just drive straight to you from there?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2009 07:25

Of course flame.

mehdismummy · 03/03/2009 07:33

hello, can i join this club!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2009 07:38

Hey mm - how are you? Have you got your internet sorted now, as I've spotted you online a few times recently?

mehdismummy · 03/03/2009 07:41

yes i have for the time being!!! ive been lent a laptop for a bit so fingers crossed!! how are you? how are the dcs?

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 10:49

Love that video of your ds csws. He's so cute. And you try to kid us on that he crys all the time

We're getting a new sofa delivered tomorrow and i'm really panicking that it isn't gonna come through the front door. If it won't the only thing we can do is take a pain of glass out of the window. It will easy come through the window but the window doesn't open.

EachPeachPearMum · 03/03/2009 11:12

eek phoenix- hope it fits!

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 11:18

It is about 20cm wider than the door but we thought they'd be able to angle it in. But when we've measured, the height of the door is just about the height of the sofa when it's stood on its end so now the worry is not the angling it but the height. I think we're going to call into the window company that fitted the windows to ask there advice about getting the front pane of glass out. It's the easiest option i think . And yes i know we should have measured properly first

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2009 11:23

You didn't think to measure before ordering? [helpful]. I want rid of one of our sofas - you should have had that instead .

I've never said that ds cries all the time Phoenix. He doesn't cry much at all - he just doesn't sleep much either! Actually he's been a bit moany the last couple of weeks or so, but I think that's prob a combination of teeth rumbling and tiredness from the disturbed nights. Even that is low moaning rather than crying.

We're fairly good thanks mm. I should add you on fb really shouldn't I? Will go find you now... Did I see/hear that M has given up bf now?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2009 11:26

cross post Phoenix.

I already have you on fb mm!

mustrunmore · 03/03/2009 11:39

lol csws, i'sd love to run to yours, but not with an overnight bag and no idea of the route

Why you getting rid of a sofa?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/03/2009 11:47

Too big/too much furniture in living room. Want a little 2 seater Ikea one (once dh has work again) instead of the big 4 seater.

Renind me which station you catch train from so that I can decide where is best to get off.

mustrunmore · 03/03/2009 12:08

Cant say that it looked like too much furniture in your huge room!

Its either WGC or WNorth; think north is the one I have to change at WGC anyway, which adds a bit of time re connections, but whichever is easiest for you really! Will be getting on at New Southgate probably.

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 12:23

Ah it's the not sleeping that made me think he cried alot

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 13:50

Flame - Just noticed you on that Crocs thread saying you import the Disney ones. There is an official Crocs shop in Meadowhall and i'm sure they do the Disney ones, i can easily get you some and post them.

BandMeeting · 03/03/2009 13:55

Ooh that could be handy. We got the mary jane type ones last year and they were a horrible fit on her, so she wants new ones, normal style, but mickey again. I want more batman ones for dude too, but not sure about them in UK either!

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 13:59

I can easily look for you just let me know. The disney ones and batman ones are on the crocs website

BandMeeting · 03/03/2009 14:03

Oh cool - last year they weren't so I didn't bother looking

Phoenix · 03/03/2009 14:07

Oh the website is Europe and the prices in Euros I'll still look in the shop for you when i go to Meadowhall again.

EachPeachPearMum · 04/03/2009 04:01

DS has fed all day again He finally went to sleep at 11pm. I am so tired- had an svt in my sleep around 1am managed to stop it after a short while though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/03/2009 07:23

for svt. Is he about 3 weeks yet? That's classic growth spurt time.

EachPeachPearMum · 04/03/2009 10:19

He's 4 weeks already!
he gets weighed tomorrow- dread to think how much he's put on- I have had to get out 3-6 sleepsuits already- all the 0-3 with feet are too tight now.... eek!

Phoenix · 04/03/2009 12:54

Phew, the sofa is in. Big panic about nothing, it came in easy . Comfort at last. We've been on camping chairs for a week
