Coor RFL I've not done that in years, it got too popular up here about 5 years ago, last time I did it, walked it with dd1 in a buggy, and have never managed to sign up in time to do it since Back in the day it used to be me, sue and about 50 other people running around the forest rec ground in Nottm Now its oh so popular! but good on them, as its all for a very good cause.

Jas · 05/02/2009 20:02

Well done on your RFL mrm

And present shopping. Was it online Tescos, or instore?
Leafleting sounds like fun

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2009 03:08

hello all.
will hopefully get an email off later to you all.
crazy first 24 hours at chez eppm...
colostrum isn't enough for this one (well-he's a lot bigger than dd was) he fed from about 12 until 7.30 ....
am quite sore (understatement) milk came in today though tg.
he is sleeping/eating in 2 1/2 cycles at present so i have slept a little...
DD was awful yesterday, but has been much better today without bday distractions- much more calm, and in bed on time etc.
i managed to get dressed even (though by 1)
This was just DH and I as mil has classes on thurs all day. We even did washing and put the recycling out... but had to bring it back in as all our refuse collection are cancelled due to weather ... grr

your boys are all gorgeous! think mine is going to have brown eyes
after handling ds all week... dd seems enormous- size of a 5 yr old... but she s 50th % for height, so normal. v long back and arms though, and pretty slim (25-30th% depending when she ate)

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2009 05:30

Happy Birthday P! (today, yes?)
think ds is starting ref;ux too
dd started 7 days
csws- baby chair/bouncy rocker type reccommendations pls
might need to chat about dairy free too,,, oh dear- will kill me

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/02/2009 07:22

My P isn't til Sunday if that's who you meant?

Def this chair. Has vibrations and will last, so good value for money.

Dairy free really not so bad, except for lack of cheese for cooking with.

mustrunmore · 06/02/2009 07:40

Urghh, dairy free cheese, the most disgusting thing ever created

Snowing here again now. Think class may well be cancelled tonight Which is really annoying as I can do hardly any next week. Fitness slepping away daily...

Friz, I always do RFL if I can; I dont haver such nostalgic associartions as the Hyde Parl womens 5km, but its still lovely to do. Think I've done 5? 6? 7? Will check sometime.

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/02/2009 09:27

Forgot to say that dd wasn't sick in the night - hurrah!

Now just need this bloody snow to clear so that people can get to the party tomorrow!

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2009 09:50

sorry- thought she was 6th... now who is 6th? i know someone is.... maybe rl thogh Yay for no vom though
she'll enjoy party better

and dairy free will kill me- i am milcaholic, let alone my children!
2 pt per day in pg
yoghurt, butter, ice cream.... oh no

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2009 09:52

oh- clicked link.... that IS the one i wanted anyway
good news

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/02/2009 11:59

Pure or vitalite for butter.
Swedish glace for ice cream (is actually quite nice).
Alpro yogs if he's ok with soya.
Twinings hot choc with soya milk.
Divine dark choc.

Presume you just want to test if it helps/causes reflux? Is he that bad already?

mustrunmore · 06/02/2009 13:19

Hmmm, raspberry ripple swedish glace...

finally made a decision about ds2 birthday. swimming. Gonna pay for the parents with the free tokens off the cereal , kids free anyway, then a happy meal each across the road

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/02/2009 21:22

I think we might be there with the party organising. Cakes are made and iced (choc cake bit flat and 'solid', but am just praying that it either tastes ok or the kids don't care!). One lot of sandwiches made, others farmed out to grandparents to make and bring. Pasta salad made, eggs boiled, crisps and drinks packed, balloons (helium filled foil ones in lieu of anything exciting in a party bag) collected, hall key collections arranged, banner bought, ride ons cleaned ready to go, bouncy castle collected, craft example made, colour yourself party bags made up....
What have I forgotten?!

EachPeachPearMum · 06/02/2009 21:26

lots of wipes!!!!!

Frizbe · 06/02/2009 22:00

at wipes, CSWS my brain is jam at the moment (or is that all the time ) I think that list sounds just fine/great, you're a very good mum I can't believe they're all turning 3, how grown up is that Happy Birthday to dd and have a great day

EPPM for reflux, here's hoping he doesn't develop is as badly as dd did/not at all. for the sleep though and for dd behaving better today.

MRM for less classes this week/last week, I had same problem, only made Mon and then Yoga today.

Flame, did you get loads of snow today? did it turn to rain again? was trying to keep up on twitter!

Hoping to get some sledging done this weekend, just need dh to be free, hoping Sunday am, as have staff in store, so he can look after one dd, whilst I take the other down a hill and vice versa Might not be so good if its all snowing again though, loads of people still trapped in villages locally here, no grit to sort the roads out up hills and down dales....

Jas · 06/02/2009 22:58

lol@ wipes, but oh, so true.

Music?

Looks like you're very well organised to me though csws (no surprise there really)
I hope it goes well, and you get to enjoy it, too. Fingers crossed for no more sickness again.

Lots of snow again here today, but rain straight after, so the only ice left now is on the grass.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/02/2009 07:27

Wipes added to list . Music bought, copied onto ipod, and dh has tested that he can play ipod through stereo (was hoping that friend with whole disco/dj set up would be able to bring it, but don't think he is).

Couple of people dropped out last night, but not through the weather, so it remains to be seen whether that will keep anyone away. Hopefully not.

Frizbe · 07/02/2009 09:34

Have a lovely day CSWS Happy Birthday to dd

Am celebrating here, have lost 1st since begining of Jan, huzzah. Waist still the same tho, as are hips guess I need to work them harder but its gone from somewhere, so that's what counts, have till June to loose another and hopefully look ok in Bikini Off out with Meridian today, to chocolate shop (not good for waist) but am going to get some for dh and my blog swap partner! then out for dinner tonight with friends, dropping kids on my mums sofa for three hours sure they'll fall asleep and then we can just chuck them into car and bring em home.....

EachPeachPearMum · 07/02/2009 09:59

wow- thats good going frizbe! lots of gym?
I lost a stone last week too!
DD really made me feel good on tuesday though, when she came to the hospital and said... oh mama- is there another baby in there?

Happy Birthday P! (proper day )

Wasn't joking about wipes... those sticky fingers with cake on... oh they get everywhere! even if the wipes are just for parents' to use, people will be grateful

mustrunmore · 07/02/2009 13:22

. Tell me how Frizbe, or I'll never speak to you again... I have 5lbs to go till accepatable/9lbs to be ecstatic, but it just wont shift.

damewashalot · 07/02/2009 14:19

What did I miss?

Been very absent from mnet for last few months but I may be back
