Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 21:33

my boy is very tall but skinny as a rake

his little writs are so snappable i love them!

Flamesparrow · 04/02/2009 21:35

Dude is very solid, but compact! He has little rugby player shoulders, but the rest of him is petite.

ooh Pillock sent me a message to say Phil and Kirsty met people in my venue for the xmas do. I feel oddly proud

Jas · 04/02/2009 21:37

Ds is just plain solid! Nothing fragile abut him at all.

RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 21:42

boys can be so heavy to carry about though dont you think?

Jas · 04/02/2009 22:04

Mine certainly is!
He won't wrap his legs round me, though, and sticks his knees in my belly instead, which doesn't help.

Just putting a snowy ds pic n my profile.

Did I tell you we cut abut 4" off his hair?

Frizbe · 04/02/2009 22:10

Hi Ria!

Interesing just watching the snow thing on the news n the salt running out, then remembered that another mum earlier mentioned that Nottinghamshire wasn't gritted the other morning, it took her half hour to do a 5 min stretch of road on other side of mway!

Jas · 04/02/2009 22:12

Sideways pic on my profile. Tried twice, and can't get it the right way round

RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 22:14

how adorable is he Jas!!!

ooh will add one of ds for a short time

Jas · 04/02/2009 22:24

Thankyou

I've managed to turn it the right way round now.

Will hang around to check yours out......

RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 22:40

they are loading ...slowly!

Jas · 04/02/2009 22:42

Gorgeous

Love the hair, and am very impressed at rope swinging, I'm not sure ds would be able to hold on.

Maybe he is suffering due to a lack of older brothers!

I can go to bed now. NN

Jas · 04/02/2009 22:43

oh, they ?

How many? I can only see the one atm.

RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 22:57

i think something amiss with photo loading..trying to do three but ...yawn!

he is a little beast!

Jas · 04/02/2009 23:01

Still only one, and washing is hung up, so I really am going to bed now.

He looks alot older than ds. I think I may be guilty of babying him

RiaParkinson · 04/02/2009 23:07

sorry jas will keep trying and leave up till morn!

he does look old for his age !

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/02/2009 07:46

He does look tall in that sitting down photo! And lots thinner than in the others.

Lots of new cake pics on your profile since I last looked Jas. All very impressive. at you actually cutting ds' hair.

I spoke too soon re dd. She was sick again in the night.

Jas · 05/02/2009 08:07

Very tall and thin, yes. And a strong family resemblance from what I remember of your older ones.
Thanks for sharing.

csws. Have you taken her to the dr? It seems to have been going on a long time.

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/02/2009 08:12

Don't think there's anything much a doc can do for this type of thing. And she's fine in herself in between .

Frizbe · 05/02/2009 09:07

Oh poor you and poor dd CSWS {{Hugs}} not that, that will stop her being poorly...is it just when she's fed from you, or is it with everything?

Jas, agree with CSWS your cakes are marvelous you are so talented, your ds looks gorgeous as does yours Ria they're all so grown up now.

Snow day here! pics on my blog if you don't have any (sorry Flame)

Phoenix · 05/02/2009 10:41

for dd still been sick csws. Hope she gets better quickly.

Love the cake pics Jas, pics of the 2 boys are great too. Ria your ds looks so grown up

Lots of snow here again today. Ds is at pre-school and i'm just hoping i can get back ok to pick him up, the roads are very slippy now.

Flamesparrow · 05/02/2009 10:47

How do all yours look like giants compared to mine?!!?

Flamesparrow · 05/02/2009 10:52

for sick DD CSWS

Frizbe - heavy snow on the met office thing for Bournemouth on Monday night. We haven't had "heavy snow" all week, always snow showers or light snow

mustrunmore · 05/02/2009 12:53

Ds2 doeasnt look that tall, so dont wory falame. Anyway, that ispired me to have a nosey at all your pics. Jas, ds looks sooo grown up compared to last time I saw him! Falme, its always worth looking at Boy Pirate

Just got back form 3hours leafleting. In the ice and sludge. With ds2 crammed into the way-too-small back carrier. Never again. Fell once, nealry fell loads of tmies, ds2 lost his hat and cried for it, I'm aching in the neck and back. I've got a stack about 2 inches left to do, prob about another 2-3 hours. Will get a lopad done tomo as dh finishesd work earl;y, so I can go out alone for a couple hours vbefore class

So, I've got ds2's bday presseis, but I need ideas for a friends 3yr old boy. Not till April but need to give her next weekend so I dont have to pay postage Anyone seen any good half price bargains anywhere? Likes noddy, Thomas, tractors. Thinking £10, maybe £15 at a push as she is very good friend. Something thats not just more plastc crap!

Frizbe · 05/02/2009 17:05

Sorry MRM not seen many bargins lately, but then I've not been shopping for any either. I think knex is always quite a good thing for age 3/4 though, dd1 loved hers for building various things, as did a lot of her mates male and female.

Have made huge snowman twice, one at Meri's and once here! have also snowballed loads of kids round at Meris this isn't as sadistic as it sounds, as they were all getting me too Have had a great time (bar dd2 whinging her way to take dh his lunch, but we can skip over that)

mustrunmore · 05/02/2009 17:40

Lol, no worries... Tescos half price sale comes to the rescue again! All sorted.

Just done my RFL entry; Regents Park for the frist time cos dh working on the date for TRent Park.
