I'm going to sort out some curtains for DD's room. I will return once everyone is in London, then I shall hide until all chat of how fabulous it was has passed! Maybe I should meet PF somewhere, I know she is somewhere in my region!

ataraxis · 26/01/2009 21:07

Read up to pf's post of 8.01 and then got distracted, so posting now before I read the rest and it takes me the rest of the night

dizzy, me too on the clean up list. Tis just me and dd tomorrow, doesn't happen v often so actually looking forward to it. Although I would obviously prefer to be in London (wow, never thought I would say that again!)

Totally with you on the text speak - no way I would employ someone who sent an email like that. My Dnephew signs off his emails 'bi' - what does that mean? and how much harder is it to write 'bye'?! [goodness, what is the world coming to emoticon]

vg/sibh, tis indeed me with the (nearly) 6 year old needing smart clothes. He is growing so fast at the moment I don't want to buy him anything. Anything, full stop, as they will only last a ridiculously short amount of time, but I absolutely cannot abide trousers that are too short).

Dsis came over yesterday for the night - sooo nice to have an extra pair of hands. She even hoovered for me this morning as I did the school run. She can come more often

Looking forward to seeing the photos of tomorrow. I have a picture of vg in my head and I want to see if she matches it

oopsacoconut · 26/01/2009 21:11

ooh also wanted tosay to Buckets - I'm on for the challenge!!! 2 down 5 to go

cyteen · 26/01/2009 21:12

Impressed at all the babies drinking from new, exciting receptacles These August nippers are way advanced!

Joe was taking quite an interest in my chocolate cake today Poor boy was desperate to grab my fork! Just like his mother.

Re 7 daily sins challenge, 2 in one day doesn't count as 2, you cannot carry forward. And it's not a competition really, nor even just Buckets' smut (my pg hormones are long gone), tis all about bonding and putting a little spring in one's (and one's DP's) step.

I shall be bringing to the tent Alex James from Blur circa 1988, when he was pretty, thin, ace on bass, shaved occasionally and didn't talk about cheese all the time.

Sibh, I am easily recognised if I've been drinking as I very quickly turn into Penelope Keith from The Good Life. The day I realised I would never be Felicity Kendall was a sad and bitter occasion.

Buckets · 26/01/2009 21:39

Are you whizzing it up or straining it? If the latter, that's pretty much Jewish Mother Chicken Soup isn't it? If whizzed I guess it's just um, Hearty Soup. (Pronounced Hurty)
