She has had neurofen.
Then man in Boots chemist gave me Medised and some Calcough as she had not slept for 3 nights with coughing.
Never used Medised before, it helped a little.

Have just used some teetha granules today and bonjela, not sure how good the granules are though. Not wanting to wish her life away but will be so much better when she can tell me exactly where she hurts.iykwim

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 26/01/2009 20:20

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 20:23

Tommy Lee Jones, Anthony Hopkins no1 WHAT are you LIKE?

Barack Obama is in there though. Without his wife. (just looking honest)

Buckets Two singles unlikely to be cheaper than a travel card. You are probably looking at about a fiver (goes off to check)

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 20:28

ts tsk we have a man in to do the painting (and the heavy lifting and carrying) and to pour us drinks. He is rather handsome and doesn't say much.

Thanks Sazzles. Blasted can feel right no my toe.

No1, I have purple and orange and yellow. Not sure the mood we want to set so I picked three complete different colors.

AND YES these are NO VOC paints.

Trying to cook a mish-mash chicken soup too. Very difficult to unload paints here and cook in my RL kitchen.....especially with my assistant chef, dd1, under foot.

TwilightSurfer · 26/01/2009 20:37

WHERE's THIS MAN, PF????

CaptainCaveman · 26/01/2009 20:43

hmm ts is that some weird text speak for 'the can fell right on my toe?

I too am a text speak hater - I even put apostrophes etc in to my texts, for which I make no apologies.

cyteen being a midlander I have no discernible accent. I will however be forced to stand up and shout fucksticks the minute I clap eyes on you , in honour of your last train-based travel tale.

The shiny new Maclaren Quest I purchased today will be accompanying us to London. O liked it so much he has started chewing on the harness already

nice decor btw Anyone mind if Keifer Sutherland comes along to prop the bar up?

oopsacoconut · 26/01/2009 20:44

Am I in the right place? Was just looking for the August girls??

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 20:45

TS Were you looking for me? Man in overalls rolled down to the waist ala the diet coke ad comes into view and reports for duty

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 20:48

oops Come in my dear

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 20:51

cc Kiefer has a pass - he's on the list

oopsacoconut · 26/01/2009 20:54

mmm nice man - hope he is hanging around when you are all in London!

As you can tell from that statement I am not coming tomorrow DH is just not happy about us going it alone - I know it's a bit strnge but I guess if I'm not ready to leave DD he must feel about the same. He would spend all day in a worried state and annoy everyone at work. (This is very unlike the man I married who didn't care where or with whom I went places as long as I was sure I was okay with it.)

I treid DD on a sippy cup today with a little expressed milk in it - she just played with it initally - tongue reflex very much in evidence. Then she got sucking sussed and sucked like mad and choked herself, finally she drank some and was very pleased with herself. And DH was thrilled to be able to fed her a bit. It won't be a regular big feed thing but at least I know she will be able to be fed if I can't do it.

CaptainCaveman · 26/01/2009 20:57

Right, I'm off to watch 24. See you tomorrow ladies!!!!

PetitFilou1 · 26/01/2009 21:00

oops
Tis alright - I've just let Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman in - we'll have company tomorrow We're a bit light on the intellect but who cares....

Am sad not to be coming tomorrow but too stressed - hence hanging out in the tent tonight - now feel very chilled out.

Toby has tried a beaker with some boiled water in it today - was also quite pleased with that. He just wants to chew anything and everything atm - poor bean - wish the damn tooth would just come through

sambo303 · 26/01/2009 21:01

ooo the place looks very exotique ladies, good job

I'm having an early night, have a big day tomorrow
