Re sorting out your mums things with your dad.
Will probably be a tough and emotional one. Thinking of you.x

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 20:28

god, everyone keeps telling me that but I'm more worried about the fact I'm not dreading it - hmmm, denial perhaps thank you though

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/01/2009 20:28

Oh and dizzy I saw the link to that Marc Jacob dress. Beautiful. Sadly I ahve sorted a dress for dd. Just need my outfit for christening now.
I am so bloody picky.
Don't like showing my arms, or legs unless stockings/tights etc...
Did you say we have our dc on same day? 15th feb??

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 20:30

no, I've not organised mine yet I can't make up my mind about it

was thinking about 22nd March as its mother's day and thought that was rather fitting but not sure if the Minister will go for it or not?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/01/2009 20:32

sorry didn't mean to go on about it to you, Forget you probably here enough in rl. Just wanted you to know was thinking about you.

Think Mother's day would be lovely btw.

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 20:36

you weren't going on at all, if I'd had my finger out I would've had her christened already but its just not reached the top of the list yet

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/01/2009 20:41

IKWYM. I wanted to do it earlier, but just hadn't got round to it. Im that bad it was my friend who booked mine
Well she was phoning to book christening for her twins and booked me in too.
As you share the church we decided to do it together.

we dh had invites printed, and the venue (pub) we have booked for food after the service has closed. So we have to go tomorow to find out what is going on. Told dh not to get printed invites aarrgghh.
Oh well (apparently they are waiting for new managers)

lol at water melon I will have to watch that film this week sometime.
Re clutter. I would love to join in.
However our house looks like no children live here most of the time due to dh tidying.
Everything has a place and all that.....

My drawers, cupboards for clothes, makeup, toiletries, crafty bits etc... are very cluttered though.
My dh says I am the most untidiest person he has ever met.

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 20:46

sazzles way ahead of you, 2 bin bags worth gone last week and another smaller bag going to be dropped in tomorrow

I should have been alive during Candleford times, all those bustles, nipped waists and heaving bosoms

No1 thats lovely to have it as a joint occassion

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/01/2009 20:48

In fact after tea tonight, he said you see to dc's and I will tidy up because I am better than you at it.
I said, Look I pretend to be shite so you do it.
Never fail to live up to my slatterness.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/01/2009 20:49

Think might get pissed, wonder if I get get dh pissed enough

Dizzy, I wasn't sad the day I went to clear out my dm's things from her dp's house. Quite liberating actually. I like to tidy things so it was very theraputic. Never felt the need to feel bad about it. I'm not cold just pratical, I guess.

Sazzles will take theory out back and play target practice with it later. Been waiting for the chance to use the new shot gun.

Reese's log is already on it's second page. She's consumed 27oz so far has napped 4 times. I bathed her in the kitchen sink earlier. Will post pictures later. She's just too cute.

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 21:00

I cannot believe you have time to write a log - or effort for that matter

TwilightSurfer · 25/01/2009 21:03

excitement!!!!!

reese just crawled 4 feet with a little assistance from daddy-o. he put his hands behind her feet so she could gain traction and CRAWLED to me!!!!!

TwilightSurfer · 25/01/2009 21:04

oh dizzy the log is really no effort. i've got pen and notepad here on my desk which is central to all chaos.

weetimorousdizzybeastie · 25/01/2009 21:07

lol, knowing me I'd walk off and leave it where it would then get covered by another pile of crap stuff needing dealt with

I'd blooming pay to have you in my house for a week to sort us out

go Reese, no holding her back now!
