Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

A card!
Mum is having the kids for the night so will have a nice quiet night in

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 11/02/2009 12:40

Apparently he's bought me something, but it's only small. God only knows what I should get him. A box of chocolates? A bottle of wine? Oh, I hate buying him presents, he's so hard to buy for.

MmeJaffaB · 11/02/2009 12:45

Still nothing, unless I get an apology for his arseish ways on Saturday.

Well, you know I was in a show on Saturday? I didn't tell you but it was a trial for the "show group" I got in! Was invited to join last night after class, Woo Hoo or should that be Yee Haa! Tonight we have a rehearsal and a costume fitting......lol I am now one of these, for a laugh at my costume look here.

charleymouse · 11/02/2009 13:06

Oh Jam so sorry was hoping for better news for you. It will be okay I am sure, one door closes another opens. Hope you got your lie in this morning.

Hi guys, apologies TYG for missing you at the weekend. Think I was just stressed at wanting to make a good impression and not show myself up and chose the wrong day to take a stand with DD. I also felt a little like I was intruding on your holiday AM and PJ and wished I had booked a villa after all. I should have not let her spoil my day. To be honest she has been a tinker all week. She bit G on Monday twice, and broke the skin on one. He also fell off his racing car and bashed/cut his head on the wall. You would have been proud of me PJ I nearly took him to the hospital.

It was lovely to meet April and PJ and there respective DCs who were all lovely and cute and delicious enough to eat. It sure breaks the ice meeting people in a swimsuit though

Ok who is man enough to try to organise another meet up and I promise I will be on my best behaviour next time honest.

Take care I'm just off to resuce the sofa as DD is eating a treacle tart as we are both off with upset tummys. Hoorah.

Hey Scoot, you know the Sheffield job is a great idea, then when DH is qualified he can transfer up north to the Leeds office, it will be brill. Honest. Think I am joining you in the sickly corner. I do not seem to be able to manage more than a few weeks without some bloody bug knocking me back again.

TMAM well done on the research summary. The African office is well managed.

charleymouse · 11/02/2009 13:07

MJB the costume looks great well done. WHat did DH do?

JamInMyWellies · 11/02/2009 13:14

Yeah har MrsJB well done.

Scoot, TYG, SOH lets sort out meeting up am sure DP will be driving me bonkers within about 2wks so will be desperate to get out the house.

MmeJaffaB · 11/02/2009 13:15

Oh the usual, he works, he earns, he provides, I of course sit on my lazy fat behind ALL day EVERY day doing nothing. He is never normally like it, but something has rattled his cage, I think my mother topped him over the edge saying SHE had worked out we could just about afford to go skiing this year providing he worked every week day up to. He lost it and screamed at both of us but of course I took the brunt of it. Wanker!

JamInMyWellies · 11/02/2009 13:17

MrsJB what a twonk its my new swear word as J is worried A will be speaking like a navvy soon. I am using crikey alot too.

Tillyscoutsmum · 11/02/2009 13:18

Ooh Jaffa - they can be right arseholes can't they ?? Me and dh had a similar "discussion" last night and I can't work out whether I'm being unreasonable or not (I would post in AIBU but I'm not brave enough !). Money - tis the root of all evil doncha know

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 11/02/2009 13:18

Charley - I think it's hard when you meet people that you have only ever spoken to on t'internet. We all have so many preconceptions of each other already. FWIW - I didn't feel at all like you were crashing our weekend - and I thought dd and ds were fab. We are all so concerned with the behavious of our own children that we don't worry about anyone else's!

Mrs JB - am so that will be fantastic! Just what you need. I have no words about dh. All I will say is mine is away tonight and I'm looking forward to some alone time.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 11/02/2009 13:19

behaviour

Themasterandmargaritas · 11/02/2009 13:53

MrsJB at the dancing. Looks like a packed schedule. I must make some time to come and see you.

Sorry about dh, but dh and mil combo, plus all living together is bound to be a tad difficult for you all at times. Mine of course is as good as gold, just too perfect sometimes, he still drives me up the wall.

Lol at the thought of you all meeting each other for the first time in your cossies in the snow.

We have just had school fete. Thank goodness you are all in winter and don't have to suffer it just yet. Fun. But the good thing is, I got dh's valentine gift of a bunch of red roses for fifty bob, that's 50 pence in your money. It helps to live amongst some major flower farms.

The washing machine drame drags on........................I'll bore you with it tomorrow after I have killed someone.

Themasterandmargaritas · 11/02/2009 13:54

Oh and SOH, dd picked up a couple of Dick King Smith books, I thought of you.

MKG · 11/02/2009 14:53

Well I hate to brag, but it is sunny and I have the windows open for the first time in months. It's supposed to be in the mid 60's today so the heat is off, and the fresh air is taking over. It's amazing how it just lifts your spirits to have a sunny day with fresh air. Mentally I'm better than I've been in a while.

On a funny note. Cruz is in a phase of taking of his pants/trousers. Well last night he managed to take of his pants and his diaper. We thought it was funny until about 2 seconds after when he peed all over the new rug. We let him have some naked time until dh said, "Oh he's going to poop". We noticed the smell and realized that he already had in the corner. We sat there laughing trying to clean it up while Mateo kept asking to see it.

TheGreatScootini · 12/02/2009 09:10

Morning all.

Well i saw your news jam then the later bit about the package..I think DH will be able to turn this into a great opportunity.I really do!Plus the lie ins for you are a bonus. It is rubbish. It is.But out of every negative comes a positive must be the way to look at it. (And no I havent succumbed to my anti depressants They are still in the drawer )
Oooh!Does he want to go into business with me?...I need a lovely investor for my childrens cafe idea.Pitch it to him will ya?

Have had a quick catchmeup but am running into a meeting now..love to all and I will get on later properly..DH at college tonight so will have a bit of time to internet..

My boss called me yesterday to say she was very impressed at how assertive I am being at the moment in my dealings with various councils etc.Snort.Its only because I am in a total grump as M keeps getting up at 5am and I am fed up of it.I am thus in no mood for any nonsense.I beg of you.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 12/02/2009 13:41

I have bought dh a mousemat with a picture of me and L on it. A bit narcissistic, non?

MKG · 12/02/2009 14:47

I think you and L would be better than a picture of Joey M. Oh how funny would that be. You should get him one.

Themasterandmargaritas · 12/02/2009 14:52

or the whole band. Now I am sure he would appreciate that.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 12/02/2009 15:48

MKG - I ordered myself a mug with Joe on for work at the same time. My administrator ordered one with Nick Lachey on.

We're on fire today!

TheGreatScootini · 12/02/2009 20:00

I would LOVE a mug with Nick Lachey on!Where from?!

Snow here.DH is at college and panicking over how he will get home.I beg of you. We've only had an inch.

I am going to make a sign in a minute for the girls to decorate tomorrow and then stick up in our picture window for Valentines day, 'we love you Daddy' along those lines. This will detract from the fact that I havent bothered to get him a present.Plus all the neighbours will think what a lovely family we are.If only they knew..

Right.Name your Friday local ladies and Im there.I am free every Friday forever, except when PJ and I are seeing Girls Aloud

Plus I will let you know when next am home for my hair Charley-its been too long since I saw you..

Ignore DH Mrs JB.He sounds like my one-Fine and Dandy then sulks like a kid for no real reason.I apply toddler taming techniques with mine.Ignore, ignore, ignore.Or else kill him with kindness.Go the whole hog for Valentines day then he will be guilted into bucking up?

Quite of yor MIl having kids for the night AM.Actually though if someone would take my kids AND DH that would be even better!

We are having our christening lesson with the Priest on Valentines Day.How romantic I am not happy.I agreed to have the girls christened RC under some duress.I DID NOT sign up for RE lessons on a Saturday.
Then the wallpaperer is coming to inspect to see if repairs can be made.>>mutters darkly about destuction of house and homehands over a generous glass of lovely cool g and tslugs down gin

largeginandtonic · 12/02/2009 21:22

Oh it just gets worse...

Police and terrified children made this Thursday one to remember. You can protect themw hen they are tiny, not so easy when they big 10 year olds.
