Hello! We've had a snow day today too! I struggled in to work and we kept children until lunch time then we closed at 12. I've been out in the garden with C making a snowman, R has reported she hates snow!

I have just watched last nights!Fabbo!But I dont see why Serena cant stay together with Dan.Whats the big Deal?She's rich.Hes good looking.Whats not to like?

No snow here today.But oddly they are snowed in 5 miles away in Stevenage.In fact our 3 snow persons made on Monday are all looking a tad forlorn to say the least.

Managed to move the beast mobile today for the first time since Sunday. Now i know i can get out even if we so get the 5cm extra snow (like we need it) tonight.

TMAM, the things I have learnt about you today and er at a little bit of sausage.

Client? hmm, the mind boggles!

I went to Oban on my honeymoon. Went all over Scotland but Oban was lovely. Listened to a terrible band in a pub and climbed up a hill to some ruins. I'd like to live on Mull. Or Skye. Or somewhere less populated.

Don't know about the pill. Was on it for 9yrs before stopping to get pg. I didn't want to go back on it but might have to consider it. Last night was not comfy.

I know I don't really want to go back on it either (would prefer a tubal) but don't have the money for that now.

I'm also a little at the client, but thigh high leather hooker boots come to mind.

Don't you people have lunchmeats over there, like ham, turkey, roastbeef, salami, bologna. You get it at the Deli. Don't tell me you don't have delis as that would just tear me up now.

Sorry about the unpleasantness, I used to suffer dreadfully as a teenager, including one notable passing out on the tube incident, so you have my sympathies. For me it all stopped after having dd, the gynae said it is often caused by a cervix which is too tight and narrow and thus having dilated, it eased the congestion, so to speak. But that can't be the case for you can it? Have you thought about a regular copper coil? It can make periods heavier but for me it made them almost non existent and no pain whatsoever.

Where is everyone? Baking cookies and buying food for your safari?

Eh what? Bologna is the capital of Emilia-Romagna in N. Italy isn't it? Was I not paying attention at school? We have ham. Turkey is a bird. Roast beef is the main component of a cooked dinner. Salami I understand. Yes we have delis. They sell olives and a strange meat shaped like a bear (what is that?).

I don't know about my periods tbh. They used to be 3/4 days long and bearable. Now they're 7/8 days, heavy and so sore. The main problem is I'm anaemic. My iron level was 7 when I had the cs (lost a lot of blood and was anaemic anyway). My periods then returned when dd was 4 months despite the mammoth feeds. So my iron level on a good day is 9. I have to be careful not to faint and somehow feeling faint makes the pain more acute. Whinge whinge eh?

I don't like the idea of coils and pills. I'm still feeding M so don't even touch paracetamol if I can help it, I am a hippy and don't like artificial contraception tbh and hear so many stories about coils and them falling out/disappearing.

Been for a run. Has helped no end.

Do we get 'rye' in the UK? Perhaps in chi-chi Notting Hill-esque areas. Definitely not in Kenya. There is brown with bits in it, expensive like, then there is brown without bits in it, not expensive. We prefer the latter mainly because it is called Supa Loaf.

Perhaps a trip to the dr is in order SOH? Or an accupunturist? It doesn't sound quite like it has balanced out properly after dd's entrance into the world. I don't like taking anything either but the regular coil worked well for me, not one with all those hormones in it.

Blardy snow

I have had the day from hell. You couldn't make it up i swear. Too Hugs to playschhol, home for a run to the tip as dh had cleared the garage in preparation for lots of pil furniturearriving in the avo.

Took dd1 for an audiology app, took her to school. Home to feed dd2, pick up H. Home to feed, pickup the all the boys from school for eye app. Sit in car with 3 pre schoolers while dh takes the big ones in. Realise car battery knackered and have to phone recovery. Removal people arrive at house with furniture, we are not there. SOS a friend with jump leads. She jumps car while i sit with various dc in opticians. dh goes home with her to see removal men.

I realise i need to cancel recovery. Hover between car and opticians supervising dc. Phone recovery,no credit. Recovery truck arrives as i cancel them...

Dash back to get dd1 from school. Collapse in heap.

dh is still shifting furniture round the house,B is grumpy and Indie is plugged permanantly.

SOH full sympathy on the nasty periods, i quake at the thought of mine returning. I have tried everything over the years. The pill and coil are magic for some. You need to try them or just get knocked up gain
