Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

WOO HOO Dh has made it off the drive for the first time since Sunday!!

Congratulations to TYG for making it into the MN book - how exciting! LG&T you should get her to autograph it before she hits the big time

JAM i am so sorry that you have this worry to contend with. I do have my fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

TMAM no washing machine for 3 wks! Have you had to do it by hand? Glad you managed to get some petrol. I know this snow is madness you would think that we had never seen it before. Havent seen a gritter at all on the estate which is bad especially as there are a few hills that are causing bother for those with rear wheel drives.

Feeling loads better today thankfully - now i can get myself ready for CP this weekend. Am looking forward to seeing how much Lexie has changed since September and also to FINALLY meet the wonderful Charley. Will be so great to see SOH, TYG and LG&T again. Am very that TYG is coming without the kiddies. Obviously wont have nearly as much fun as we would have had if MrsJB was coming.

Got my booking in appt today which is exciting. Was gutted that i missed my scan yesterday but hopefully should make the one on Monday. I feel like i have been pg forever yet i am only 8+3.

Ah, was just about to FB you. Looks like the babies are coming. DH's cousin from Australia is going to be here at the weekend, so short of having to cancel CP, I'm going to have to bring the babies so DH can go out and about with his cousin. Luckily cousin is also around the following weekend so I won't look completely rude by not being here this weekend. Well I hope not anyway. He did actually tell DH last year some time, for all the good that does. In one ear and out the other.

Not that I'm any better because I forgot I had NCT training on Saturday morning, so the weekend was actually triple booked. Doh. Am going to drive up Saturday lunchtime, so I suppose that means arriving Saturday tea time? Should be ok as the kids will nap in the car for quite a bit of the journey I think hope. Going to stay til Monday morning.

Will check the shopping list etc in a bit. Am mid Ocado unpack at the moment. A is thrilled with the free vans we got today.

Are SOH and LG&T really coming?

AprilMeadow · 04/02/2009 10:12

Great minds and all!

Cool - well i will bring along my travel cot for Ella as there is only one cot in the villa.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 10:17

TYG - you know that AM is going home on Sunday don't you?? So it'll just be me and you on Sunday night. Don't worry, I;ll bring a spare shellsuit for you. Now answer my FB question about alcohol forthwith.

AM - I also feel like you have been pregnant for years. Don't worry though, I'm sure the twins are just fine in there.

Mrs JB - are you sure you can't come? G'wan. I dare ya.

TMAM - Have you been washing using one of those old scrubbing boards? I can just see you, standing over the kitchen sink in your pinny.

Jam - any news???

AprilMeadow · 04/02/2009 10:21

TYG have just added you 3 to the booking form and just need your car details.

haha! MrsJoe FUNNY!

largeginandtonic · 04/02/2009 10:30

Master will not be washing she has an ayah for such tasks

The girl is feeding every 2 hours am knackered. She must be having a growth spurt, like she needs one

If we do CP it will be Saturday travel up and stay in a travel lodge close by so we can see you all Sunday too. Have a manic friday with eye appointments for the boys and hearing checks for dd1.

Baby tv is driving me insane BUT he is quiet...

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 10:33

What do you mean, 'if' we do CP??? You must come. Please?

Glad Indie is OK, Gawd, I love that name so much.

ShowOfHands · 04/02/2009 10:37

The country comes to a standstill when it snows because we don't usually have snow. Certainly not enough to affect transport. Therefore we don't have the equipment/grit/contingencies in place to see us through it. And rightly so I think. It would cost vast amounts to have equipment in reserve for a once in 20 years event. It's financially more sensible to accept that in the rare event of snow we just have to slow down/stop for a day. They will help emergency services, doctors and midwives etc stay mobile but the rest of us are forced to have a day off and chuck a few snowballs. We've all got a little comfortable I think and it doesn't hurt to come up against nature once in a while. I'm a little fed up with seeing Bob Stupid on the news saying 'it's ridiculous, it's like living in a third world country'. Yes starving hungry, ill and desperate is exactly the same as the 25 bus to Chiswick being cancelled. Twunts.

Heavens above knows what's happening this weekend. We're planning on coming up but Her With The 27 Children hasn't replied to me on fb yet about specifics. We need to find somewhere to stay up there as the round trip's too much for our little Polo in one day. Too cold to camp I suppose.

ShowOfHands · 04/02/2009 10:37

x posts. There she is!

ShowOfHands · 04/02/2009 10:38

AprilMeadow · 04/02/2009 11:18

Just putting my list together of what i need to take and anyone would think i was going away for weeks not 2 nights!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 11:20

My plan (which is very, very unlike me)is to just open the suitcase and throw it all in!

AprilMeadow · 04/02/2009 11:22

Good job i have a big car otherwise it wouldnt all fit!
Double Buggy, Travel Cot, 2 travel high chairs plus the suitcase plus food

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 11:23

Yes, this is true, you do have a lot more than me to bring. I still can't find my wellies, aargh.

What time can we get in? Is it 3pm into the lodge?

ShowOfHands · 04/02/2009 11:26

Our neighbours take their cats for a walk.

Is it me or is that odd?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 11:27

Maybe they need the exercise.

AprilMeadow · 04/02/2009 11:30

yes 3pm is the magic time although you can get there earlier and use the facilities

largeginandtonic · 04/02/2009 11:31

The children want a lead for the rabbit, to be fair she is bigger than a dog so could handle a stroll along the beach.

MmeJaffaB · 04/02/2009 11:36

Odd! Yes SOH, need your address please, fb it.

Now bog off with ya CP talk!!! Have a fab time, I'd so love to be there but no amount of dare is going to sort it. Besides I have a show I'm in on Saturday night. Yeeee haaaaa!

ShowOfHands · 04/02/2009 11:36

They are outdoor cats. They do nothing but hunt all day. They don't put them on a lead, they "gently encourage" them up and down the lane. Country folk. They have a papier mache, lifesize US highway man in their porch. Local place for local people is our little village.

A friend of mine takes his pet duck Titch for a walk round the local town. He's quite the eccentric.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 04/02/2009 11:38

A show, you say??? Tell us more...
