Sorry everyone, am going to obsess, tell me to change the subject

cazboldy · 10/01/2009 08:19

Yay I knew you would be! I think you can find out the sex at the 20 wk scan xx

StealthPo09IsHere · 10/01/2009 08:21

are you sure it's not pink line for a girl, blue for a boy?

cazboldy · 10/01/2009 08:25

Oh hurrah - 2 tests done by 06.52 - having trouble sleeping?

With your cycle being so unknown do you think if you see your GP you might get an early scan?

geordieminx · 10/01/2009 11:09

Yeah, tell them you havent had a period and have no idea when you conceived then you'll get an early scan!!

Do your health aurhority tell you the sex at 20 weeks SPB? If not, I had a fab private scan in south gosforth!

cazboldy · 10/01/2009 11:18

I had no idea with Molly, Charlie or Caitlin and I never got a private scan!

cazboldy · 10/01/2009 11:18

or early scan even -

geordieminx · 10/01/2009 11:20

I guess it depends on area. I had a m/c before C, when I went to the doctors, they said to phone the EPU, tell them I'd had a m/c and see if they would give me an early scan - they were great - 7 weeks and 9 weeks.

Northernlurker · 10/01/2009 11:22

Really Caz - no idea? Was your cycle irregular then? I've always been very regular - and very sick when up the duff so I've always known exactly but it just fascinates me how women differ and people get differing dates. I was always very boringly predictable!

cazboldy · 10/01/2009 11:26

caitlin - I came off the pill, had no periods, was careful for about 3 months, and must have fallen on the 4th month, but had nothing to go on.

With Charlie, I had been told that I probably couldn't have anymore without some kind of help, due to pcos and some really severe cysts on my ovaries.... i had 8 on 1 side and 6 on the other..... but got pg approx 4 months later

and with Molly I was still bf Charlie......

actually I was still bf Caitlin when I fell with Harry aswell, and didn't suspect anything and was 20+ 5 at my first scan!

Guess I am just completely clueless really

StealthPo09IsHere · 10/01/2009 12:23

completely clueless caz!
I'm not actually too bothered about having a scan quickly - is that bad?

What's everyone up to today? It's my mum's birthday so we're popping in to see her, she hasn't been well.

CaptainDippy · 10/01/2009 13:39

Go on, go on, go on ... you know you want to

Off to a Birthday Party now ......

AngeG · 10/01/2009 13:42

Forgotten everything else so hello everyone

Eddas · 10/01/2009 16:23

I have it cut

Feels sooooooo much better. She cut about 6-8 inches off the bottom and then loads out of the weight of the hair plus put a few layers in. She literally cut off half my hair and it looks really nice I'm actually please with my hair so pleased I booked in with her agian in 2 months time

oooggs · 10/01/2009 19:34

Super duper fantastic news Katy - I am over the moon

eddas - a photo please so we can all admire

last night was hell both dts up at same time screaming for no apparent reason. I laid on floor with Jack while dh had Erin in our bed, Jack just about to drop off when I hear Erin trying to climb the stairs in her gro bag (we have a downstairs bedroom). So I eneded up with them both on the floor and it didn't work. So they both went back into their own cots and screamed for ages. Shattered and had to get up this morning as James' 1st swimming lesson was at 9am (who booked that dumb time? )

so will be off to bed soon!

Eddas · 10/01/2009 21:38

coeeeeeeeeey where is everyone? off doing more exciting things on a sat night

oooggs, your night sounded horendous. I hope you are now fast asleep and dc let you stay that way. I think i've got a lot on atm, then I read your post and give myself a slap may I offer a heartfelt {{{{hug}}}}? wish I could help you out in someway

Eddas · 10/01/2009 21:39

oh and no photos of the hair atm as although the hair is nice I have a lovely puffy eye thanks to conjunctivitis(sp) so i'll wait til that's gone and I can slap some makeup on

Sexonlegs · 10/01/2009 21:52

Evening all

Oooggs, what a shite night As Eddas says, hope you can get some sleep tonight.

Eddas, can't wait to see the piccies

Nothing much going on here. Have been trawling the internet for our summer holiday. We are hoping to go France for a week going by ferry. The properties look lovely, and are so much cheaper than renting in this country - looking at about 5 to 600 quid for a 3 bed place; the ferry would be 540. So still cheaper than somewhere like Cornwall, and we should get good weather [hopeful]

Right, off to bed soon, so sleep well lovelies. x

Pesha · 11/01/2009 00:21

YAY - CONGRATS SPB!!!!!!

SOL - snap!! Have also been looking to book a hol in France. have been saving tesco vouchers for last few years so now have about £670 in deal points which will get us a very nice cottage in August. Have also been working out petrol and ferry costs and think it would be cheaper for us to travel dover to calais and drive than to do an over night ferry to Cherbourg or St Malo or the like. Have narrowed it down to 3 - 1 in Brittany, nice cottage, near lots of lovely sandy beaches but very touristy, long drive round the cost from Calais; another by the Seine, Very nice cottage, looks lovely, lots of touristy things to do in area and shortest drive, last one further south, only just North of where we stayed last year and we loved the area, has a pool shared with the owners, horse rididng nearby and a lake with a beach, swimming, boat hire etc, nice cottage but not as nice as others, only slightly longer drive than the seaside one. I much prefer the cottage near the seine to the other 2 but the location is my least favourite and think really that should be most important thing so prob rule that out. Might go to bed and think on it.

Sickness still rife in this house, Dylan started bing sick again yesterday just after I posted, then nathan was sick after school, I was sick in the evening, Dylan been sick a few times again today, Maia tonight and Jamie says he feels sick but has just been snoring on the sofa all evening! I am feeling bit better this evening though. Maia just been sick again so think I best go and sleep while I can.
