Maveta · 13/01/2009 14:46

Hello Oooggs I really love the name Grace, very sweet.

Bet you're working that look though GMM

My thoughts are with you (and everything crossed) SOL.

At work and actually doing lots of very boring things but at least I am getting stuff done..

.. are any of your april babies in beds yet btw?

cazboldy · 13/01/2009 15:08

no Mv - well unless you count mine

Maveta · 13/01/2009 15:17

lol caz well yeah in THAT respect mine is also in a bed

Pesha · 13/01/2009 15:41

We tried D in a bed but didnt really work! Since christmas with us being away and then him being ill hes got really bad at sleeping again. Screams as soon as he realises its bedtime and I'm going to take him upstairs and then cries himself to sleep Although not for very long thank fully. has woken up a few times in the night and says 'bed' over and over, what he means is my bed but I have tried bringing him in with us and he just bfs and then fidgets and talks and stays awake for hours so much better for him I think to let him cry on his own for 5 or 10 mins but then get a good nights sleep. Not easy though when all he says is bed, cuggle and mummy/daddy

Dc off school again today, they seemed fine all day yesterday but N was up in the night with dodgy tummy and Maia felt very rough this morning although wasnt actually sick. all seeming much better now though. dylan seems fully recovered now which is a relief. I was sick again yesterday morning and felt very rough all day, still feeling bleurgh today but not as bad. Although I am now getting a cold.

Am having a chat with an old 'friend' on FB, am never quite sure where hes going with the conersation or what he wants.

PMSL at Nathan - he has a sore throat but keeps confusing the word tonsil with the word testicle!!!

Doobydoo · 13/01/2009 16:15

Love the name Grace.I know a 9 year old called Grace and she is lovely

Doobydoo · 13/01/2009 16:15

Pesha

Northernlurker · 13/01/2009 16:16

dd1 was in her cot till she was 4 (it was a big one and she could climb out of it safely) No idea with dd2 - poor neglected child I can't remember any of her milestones! B will be staying in a cot until 2012 for the forseeable future!

SOL - thinking of you

Oooggs and Elkie - thinking of you two too - are those babies nearly done yet?

Grace Lily is a lovely name btw.

elkiedee · 13/01/2009 16:48

I think today or tomorrow was my original due date but I don't expect baby will be early really - 13 days until due date now. Hoped to get some clearing out and cleaning up done today but limited success - I'm hoping some stuff will be picked up after ads on Freecycle but have to wait and see.

Am fuming because one of the site administrators has accused me of hogging advertising space (it's a yahoo group) because there's so much stuff I just listed things that go rationally together and might be wanted as a bunch - no one person's going to want everything and I don't see how putting it all together in one post is useful for possible recipients....

StealthPo09IsHere · 13/01/2009 18:44

Hi everyne
Just skipped through today's posts, will catch up later
Thanks Hun and mj mj was wondering where you were
No news from SOL?

Sexonlegs · 13/01/2009 19:42

Hello

Just popping on to say nothing else showed up on Mum's scan- hurrrrrrrrah!!! And she is recovered enough to start chemo before the end of the month.

I am so relieved I can't tell you.

Will catch up later properly.

Thanks so much for all your wishes; it means a lot xx

oooggs · 13/01/2009 19:53

Fantastic news sol well you know what I mean as good as it could be - bloody hell I hope you know what I mean - I'm rambling now

AngeG · 13/01/2009 19:53

SOL - Fantastic news. I'm so pleased for you all. xx

MJ - Good to see you

Oooggs - Grace lily is a lovely name.

GM - Hope you're ok after you op yesterday.

Pesha - Hope you're all better soon. PMSL at Nathan confusing tonsil and testicle

No bed here for Izzy either, in fact her cot is still on the middle level as she has shown no interest in climbing out I must move it down.

Forgotten everything else sorry

Hope everyone else ok. xx

oooggs · 13/01/2009 19:58

oh on the bed front - Jacks has arrived ready for whne his new room is ready - he can climb out of the cot with no gro bag on and can also undo the gro bag but hasn't done both at same time. We also need his cot when the baby is a bit bigger.

Erin shows no interest and if she wants out of her cot she as shouts for James (James can't lift Jack!!)

Northernlurker · 13/01/2009 19:59

Oh that's really good SOL Very pleased for you all.

Pesha, so funny about the tonsil/testicle mix up Poor little and his painful testicles!! Brilliant!

Hello to everyone that I haven't mentioned. It is so lovely to "see" you all again (yes, I know I am being a bit gushy!). Hope to be back soon xxx

MJreturns · 13/01/2009 21:23

That was meant to be poor little N and his painful you know whats!

leakyR · 13/01/2009 21:27

Evening!

Back from Rome which was wonderful. Lots of sightseeing, eating and drinking(dh only) and quite a bit of me needing to have a bit of a rest because I'm pg I have to say I was absolutely aching to see George this morning. I missed him so much!

SPB - Congratulations!
GMM- Owwwww! Hope you're looking less like a Dandy character now.
SOL - thinking of you and hoping things go well for your mum.

Saw you baby name chat and coincidentally dh adn I kind of came to a decision on names this weekend. Iris Elizabeth for a girl and Freddie Joseph for a boy. The girl's names were mostly my choice and the boy's were dh. I'm not 100% on Freddie but we can't agree on any others.

BTW My niece is Eva, but one of dh's best friends had an Ava in mid December, she's yummy.

Sexonlegs · 13/01/2009 22:02

Hello

Thanks again lovelies for ypur lovely posts. As I say, I am so relieved it is not awful news. I know chemo is not going to be a walk in the park, but onwards and upwards.

Leaky, so glad you had a good time in Rome. Have G's spots all cleared up?

Pesha, absolutely pmsl at the tonsil/testicle mix-up - hilarious! Hope all the sickness has gone and you are all better.

Erm...

Ange, good to see you. I promise I will email/fb soon and we can get together. It will be so good to see you and Izzy.

Right, am utterly exhausted ( K was coughing at 4 and 5.30 this morning and guess who got up to her !)

Hope everyone is well, and see you all tomorrow. xx
