LOL!

DP just called...Boss has migraine now on top of his cold (we all have it bad atm).. and his heating at his house is broken.. DP asked if we could bring boss home (It's a small business that makes specialist electronics...but they do really well) here and pack up the lab early so he can enjoy warmth at ours and lie on sofa for the day...!

They are on their way in a minute...

How funny!!! o.O Best I close mumsnet now then so they don't see me being silly... ... ... ...

See you all later, and after you've stopped pointing and laughing at me.. go have a cuppa and laugh some more...

scorpio1 · 18/12/2008 10:52

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 19/12/2008 09:17

Morning ladies.

I'm having a mare this morning. DP 'phoned MiL last night to tell her we are planning on bringing Grandad home and he basically got the brush off. She is worried about how FiL will react and told us she'll 'sort it' and let us know......It's 6 days until xmas and we can't exactly roll up on xmas morning and package grandad into the car...we want to go see him on sunday and ask if eh wants to come back with us so we can't wait for things to be 'sorted out' brushed under the carpet.
I think I'm going to ring the home today and get the ball rolling and sod what they think but it caused a row with DP&I last night as he is worried something will go wrong and then he'll be to blame for overruling them.

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 19/12/2008 10:00

thread here

SophtheRedNosedReindeer · 19/12/2008 11:28

VS - I posted on the other thread but just wanted to say well done again Hope you have a fantastic day.

Last day of term today. DS1 has just seen Santa and been given his pressie (let's see how long this one lasts!) and I had to bring the ball he got into the Library so he doesn't lose it Weather's not brill again so don't think they'll be able to play outside though. Christmas dinner in an hour - yum.

scorpio1 · 19/12/2008 11:44

It's christmas dinner day at nursery today, too. School's was last week.

God i am so tired again. Don't know why, i'm not even really doing much in the days, kids are 7-7 all of them.

DH is going xmas food shopping tonight, yay. Although he has to work Mon/Tues, but has xmas eve off, until the 5th Jan so thats nice.

TheMaskedPoster · 19/12/2008 11:52

Hello

I hope all is well with you lovely April '08 ladies and your (not so little) bundles of joy.

I have just popped in to say Merry Christmas to all of you and hope you have wonderful Christmas's with your children and families.

I don't find the time to come and chat like I used to - but often wonder how you all are.
Livi is a little (laid-back) star and makes me laugh and smile every minute of every day. Pennie is proving to be a fab big sis so far (although jealousy sometimes gets in the way - she tries her best).

All in all - the TMP household is ticking over nicely and looking forward to all the fun times over Xmas.

Love to all, and once again MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

TMP Hey there. Merry Christmas to you and yours and pleased to hear that everything's going well. Sam is a little star & always has a smile for anyone at anytime. He manages to make us laugh every day.

Have a lovely Christmas,
Soph xxxx

SophtheRedNosedReindeer · 19/12/2008 12:04

Scorpio - maybe it's because you're not doing much that's making you lethargic iykwim. There are weeks where I feel that I can't possibly make it till the end of the day and others where I could just keep going. Don't know why - I'm sure there's some medical reason/explanation!!!!!

SophtheRedNosedReindeer · 19/12/2008 14:53

Well ladies, I'm very disappointed in you all, it's my last day on a computer for 3 weeks and none of you are around I bet you're all off looking after children or something silly like that

KnitterInTheNW · 19/12/2008 15:02

Hi Soph!

I've been out getting a massive plant for my sister for christmas (didn't look quite as big in homebase, it's actually bigger than our christmas tree!) and pick some photo gifts up from boots. George and DH were asleep when I left, and they're still both asleep! Lucky them. George has had a horrid tummy bug, we've been getting through at least 3 chenges of clothes every day with exploding nappies. I t6hink he's on the mend now and sleeping it off. I think DH has a bit of a virus or something too. Hopefully we'll all be ok for next week.

SophtheRedNosedReindeer · 19/12/2008 15:19

Hi Knitter - sorry to hear you've got a sickly household. Hope they get better soon.

Anyway ladies I'm off. Have brilliant Christmases everyone and BIG LURVE to your little ones on their first Christmas. I'll be back on 12 Jan but may be able to pop in over the hols.

Take care. Love you all.
