Ooh Friz- that would be nice....
my brother is coming up saturday, but if you're around sunday...?
I'll email you.

Frizbe · 26/11/2008 14:14

EPPM I really doubt I'll have time, but I will make time next year! promise!!

EachPeachPearMum · 26/11/2008 14:16

no problem!

Jas · 26/11/2008 23:32

Sigh.

DS finally caved in and went to sleep at 10.45.
He was up at 6.30, no nap, and a misery alot of the day.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 00:02

Oh Jas, thats rubbish.
Hope you get a more settled night tonight.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 20:42

Where are you all?

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/11/2008 20:43

Update on my health here in case EPPM isn't on the ball tonight .

Jas · 27/11/2008 21:03

thanks csws

Easy breathing thoughts going your way.

DS lasted until 8 tonight, then I managed to get him into his cot, and he screamed for a bit, gave up, and crashed out

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 21:14

Well- that's a little earlier at least!
Is he no better at all?

Jas · 27/11/2008 21:17

He has been happier, but still runny nosed, I'm worried it is the end of easy bedtimes for the next few months though.
DD2 was like this for a long time before she learnt to go to sleep in her bed, but then dd1 just slept through it (and no one had to get up for school the next day)

How are things going for you?

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 21:39

Thats the problem- they get out of good habits so quickly!
A couple of nights being ill and it all seems to go out the window.
We're okay- DD still has the tail end of her cold, but has slept soundly since the awful night monday thank goodness.

WellOiledWench · 29/11/2008 07:51

Hello
Talking of slipping into bad habits, ds2 has been cming into our bedin the early hours more and more

Have been asked to be organiser of the cshool xmas and summer fayres for next few yrs, as curent lady finishes this yeat good fun and sense of achievemnet, but sooo mu7ch work.

Only lost 1lb last wek

Flamesparrow · 29/11/2008 09:04

Will catch up later (hopefully) but WOW - that was with a vat of alcohol on Saturday night . I gained 2lb so you're still winning

Jas · 29/11/2008 10:45

I like WOW

DS slept in his bed last night

EachPeachPearMum · 29/11/2008 18:28

OOPS- so we managed to put DD to bed an hour early this evening
For some reason we misread the clock, and she was really eager to get ready too ...

Yay! now we can have a nice early night too- any bets on what time she wakes?

WOW- that is a lot of work- summer and christmas... are there many volunteers to help you?

Jas- glad DS is on the mend
DD mentioned him today, as she had her chopping food out, and was cooking us up a storm!

Jas · 29/11/2008 20:49

lol @ early bedtime.

DS is still up
I think the cot is going to have to go, and we'll just have to try and teach him to go to sleep in a bed.

He loved that food.... that dd remembers him. I am always surprised at how much they do remember now.

Jas · 30/11/2008 09:23

Well ds lasted until 10.30 (again).

The only upside is that he slept in until 7.30

Flamesparrow · 30/11/2008 11:02

What food was it?

Jas · 30/11/2008 11:08

Wooden food that velcros together, and cuts apart, like fruit and cake. DS loved it.

Flamesparrow · 30/11/2008 11:09

I was wondering if it was that! I bought some for the neplings last xmas

EachPeachPearMum · 30/11/2008 20:18

Well.... she woke up at 5 to 7... with a nosebleed that lasted 40 minutes wasn't gushing, just mixed up with so much snot (sorry) so kept on coming out.
She wasn't bothered by it though.
Managed to put her to bed at normal time this evening!
Been busy deforting the freezer and cleaning up the kitchen ready for new fridge/freezer arriving tomorrow Yay

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/11/2008 21:37

What's in it for you to organise all that stuff WOW?!

DD slept in her new room last night, and is there again tonight. I had to go and see her twice in the night, but she resettled fine, so I'm hoping that there won't be any calls tonight.

Have my follow up GTT tomorrow, so am now fasting - not fun when feeding 2 children - I want to eat all the time!

EachPeachPearMum · 01/12/2008 10:10

Yay! for new room! Does she love it?

but boo for gtt fasting. How on earth you do it when bfing a newb I do not know- I was eating more than DH when DD was 3 or 4 weeks old- ravenous
GL- hope all is clear- you have enough to deal with diet-wise.

Advent Calendar this morning went down very well

Flamesparrow · 01/12/2008 20:59

How was the GTT?

We are down 3 days on the advent calendar . DD was "turning them the right way" which gave DS the idea he could eat em.

Can I come and just gently rock please? I have the customer from hell. Obv can't talk about it, but need a quiet place to rock and bang head against wall...

EachPeachPearMum · 01/12/2008 21:20

Oh dear Flame.

Phoenix- hope you are well.

Dunno where everyone else is....but hello lurkers!
