Glad nursery session went well NL

SOL, ds is lying on the sofa watching Alvin and the Chipmunks for the hundredth time (feels like anyway), temp down thanks to nurofen and calpol. Nursery have just phoned to say F has a temp of 38c and could they give her calpol. They don't want me to pick her up, they say she is fine in herself so we'll see!
I feel crap tbh, hot, headache, sore throat, you know the drill! How are you feeling today?

Managed to sort B's room a bit more and hoping dh will get back a wee bit earlier to bang in picture hooks and stuff. Not that K seems to notice noise. Her room is next door to B's and she didn't stir when dh wss hoovering in B's room last night. I was amazed!

Elkie, pmsl at D and his dustpan and brush! How sweet bless him. Perhaps he will become a domestic god?

Unbelievable! Some spotty, horrible teenager has fired a pellet gun at kids at one of the schools here! Hit two little boys who are both totally ok fortunately. The police are stil looking for the git offender. Grrrrrrrh

Hello Well it has been awhile but I have had a wee glance now at then and have been thinking of all the babies celebrating their 1st birthdays - hard to believe where this year has gone.....

We have had a manic couple of months with moving house / kids / work - usual stuff. But S is doing well - keeping out of hospital thank goodness although seems to have an uncanny knack of getting a fever / cold / V&D bug when ever I need to go to work. Think I have spent more on childcare for days she hasn't gone than days she has been well enough to go She is a sweet as can be though. Not walking yet, still bf like a demon and has not slept right through the night Ho hum at least she makes us laugh and smile when she is awake!

Having friends and family over for her birthday on Sunday and her brothers and sisters are busy making the 'decorations' - we are looking forward to celebrating her year with us - they are just so special aren't they?

Well I thought the Mumsnet April germs had reached me today, but now I think it was just hayfever. Had one of those days where there just aren't enough hours in the day - you know the ones! Last day of the holidays tomorrow - argghh - Monday morning is going to feel like a shock!

Hi Bramshott. Ikwym re going back to school. It has been so lovely not having to rush out of bed and in to the school run mania.

Will take some pics of B's room tomorrow and get dh to download. I am crap with that sort of thing (like Lucinda from The Apprentice!!)
Anyway, it is all done, and looks lovely.

I know it's been a while but I do lurk every now and then so thanks everyone for Ethan's birthday wishes.
He had a lovely day today and spent most of the morning playing with envelopes and wrapping paper,while Oscar played with all the toys.
Really don't know where the time has gone-it's flown by.
He's not crawling yet but bum shuffling everywhere and haveing another LO I'm in no hurray.
Hope everyone is well and happy birthday to all the other April babies.xxx

LOL at dustpan Elkie. G has a mini mop that he loves. I bought it to clean under his high chair, but it has never been used. He claimed it as soon as it came out of my shopping bag!
