Its difficult to think of all Izzy's words. I say all like there are loads, erm, there aren't!
She has developed a really posh, 'middle class' accent, god knows why, i'm not very posh! it makes us all laugh so much. ALthough after the weekend, she changed Bath pronounced how I do, with a southern accent, to bath pronounced the northern way... she is still saying it northern- like Mr Cutie. how , why? I say if far more, as does my mum, than he does? why has she picked up on his accent?
So these are her most used words unprompted;
DADDIEEEEEEEE
MUMMY in the cutest way ever
GNANNY= granny
CHEESE
TEA
BUPF = bath - now bapf
YEP
YES
DANT DO = thank you ( we hear this more than anything else, and always at the right times too >
BYE BYE
BED
HOT
NUM NUM = br feed
BOD TOT = bottle
NO
NAPPY = nappy
WA WEE = wee wee ( god knows why she says 'wa' for the first bit as she says wee perfectly! )
ADIE = katie, her cousin
DIC DIC = nicola, my neighbour!
OK
OH DEEYAR =Oh dear!
POON = spoon
KUCK = duck ( thank god shes doesn't say that with a Northern accent!!! )
DACK DACK DACK = quack quack quack, from the song 5 little ducks etc...
DOOOO = two
DEEEEEEE = three
there are more I think. She can say most things after you, she's great at repeating. especially DH, shouting to me on sunday morning, "God Suze, there's shit every where!! " when changing her, she then said shit shit shit for about ten minutes....
I love the way she really studies your mouth and lips when you say a word and ask her to say it.
Oh, her walking is coming on SO well! I'm so pleased, and so proud. She is doing it so carefully, no staggering, she walks really upright, slowly! this evening, she was able to get to her feet from sitting down, and squatting down to pick things up! I know all of you will e thinking big deal! But they don't usually manage that so quickly... I reckon she's been walking for months, when we are not looking!!!
I was going to say to kat , don't feel inadequate at all! izzy was the last to walk out of all the Jan babies- I think she was concentrating on talking all that time!
SO lovely to see you all here today
