I know who is in the picture too!

Ok, an update from Runny. W has been moved out of HDU and on to a general ward for under 1's so he is definitely improving! I am so pleased, brought a tear to my eye. I am in work tomorrow (I work in the same building as the ward W is on) so will try and see them if I get a chance. Will send on all your good wishes

Going to bed now after 2 hours of ironing, my life is just one long party!

Forgot to say, Happy Birthday Leo!! WCL, I hope you all had a lovely day.

Have been birthday present shopping for F today and have got her a few bits, including a little stroller and baby! E wanted to buy her a barbie, but I explained that she was a little bit young for that so we compromised at a dolly and pushchair! Night all xxx

mammyjo · 25/03/2008 22:07

Meant to say, oooohhhhh Pillock! You kissed the sofa man About bloody time too

AngeG · 25/03/2008 22:08

Thanks Oooggs

Is the one of you with Pesha?? I thought it might be!

SOL - No you're not awful. I'd feel the same. Hope K better soon.

AngeG · 25/03/2008 22:11

Hi MJ - Glad to hear W is improving. Please pass on my love to runny. at 2 hours of ironing! We're getting Izzy a pushchair for her birthday too! A friend gave her a dolly the other day and she's been carrying it around with her smiling and 'talking' to it! bless!!

Eddas · 25/03/2008 22:12

aw poor w, hope he is better soon. Thinking of you runny

Eddas · 25/03/2008 22:12

Eddas · 25/03/2008 22:13

mammyjo · 25/03/2008 22:17

Eddas, I have entered Race for Life too. Mine is on June 1st in Cardiff. Quite excited about it actually. I will not be running though!

WestCountryLass · 25/03/2008 22:23

I posted on the other thread....

Leo was 1 today

Time flies when you are having fun, and this past year has whizzed by.

He took 3 steps yesterday too so is he a baby or a toddler now? Deffo still a baby!!!! He stood up in the middle of the room and walked towards my DS1 (and then went on to all fours and crawled the rest of the way).

I just want to slow the clock down as it is all going in a flash.

elkiedee · 25/03/2008 22:36

Poor little W and Runny, thanks for letting us know the bad news and the better news, mj.

elkiedee · 25/03/2008 22:37

I've somehow managed to break my mouse, again! Using dp's laptop as somehow the wifi is working again - it wasn't earlier! Trying to work out how one of us can get a new one tomorrow, but might have to wait until Saturday or Sunday. No, actually, dp could do it Friday am. It's just so annoying, the way this keeps happening. Grrrr.

NorthernLurker · 25/03/2008 22:39

Totally worn out by holiday club and no time to catch up as dh needs the pc but saw runny's news. Praying for her and poor little W and all the family. Hope he is much better tomorrow and home soon. Thanks for the updates MJ.

Pesha · 25/03/2008 23:14

MJ thank you for passing on Runny's news and TIA for passing on all our thoughts. Thinking of poor W but very relieved that he seems to be picking up. How scary for Runny.

WCL - glad Leo had a lovely birthday and walking!!! How exciting!!

D is definitely my easy baby! Was looking at photos of N at this age and he was HUGE!!! And well and truly on the move, walking and climbing everywhere. D seems like much more of a baby still iyswim.

SOL - I am feeling quite upbeat atm, thanks for asking Have done a lot of talking with J. He is looking for a flat in the town he works in so will save himself a lot in petrol money. Have found a few that I'll ring up about tomorrow. I have found an OU course that I want to start in Sept, have decided if I'm going to be on benefits I will make the most of it and get myself some free training. So am going to train to be teaching assistant and volunteer part time in primary school while doing course for a year. Then when it finishes D will be 2.5 and ready to go playschool anyway and I can get a job in a school so working same hours as dc at school and have all same hols as them. Wasn't ready for working 5 days a week so have turned down job and feeling very relieved that I dont have to do it anymore, wouldn't have minded 3 days but thought of 5 was really starting to stress me. I'm not quite sure whats going to happen long term with J and I, whether this is really it or if we can work things out. Its very hard to say its over when I see how he is with dc and how N especially adores him so much and we do still love each other even if he is a twat! But I think space will do us both good and time to work at it and see if we can fix things or not. We will always be friends whatever happens.

Eek think thats someone being sick...

Pesha · 25/03/2008 23:20

Phew, no sick! DD was coughing lots and crying because her leg is really hurting. Have given her some calprofen so hopefully that will kick in soon.

Off to bed now, meant to have an early night tonight

Oh and apologies for any mistakes in last post, didnt preview due to scary retching noises!!

Night all xx

StealthPolarBear · 26/03/2008 08:13

Runny, thinking of you and W, glad to hear he has been moved into a general ward xx

StealthPolarBear · 26/03/2008 08:50

sorry for selfish post
WCL - glad L had a good birthday and wow at walking
SOL - thank you for the offer to look at my routine, T has in his usual way refused to be consistent and do the 2nd night of cc. Went to bed at about 8, woke at 1 for a feed, straight back in his cot and then up again at ten to 6! Which is very civilised and so he came in with us. I felt so low yesterday and was dreading the night, now I have no idea what to expect but feel fantastic!
Right better go shower as we're going to his nursery so I can tell them about his routine - hahahahaha

Pesha · 26/03/2008 09:46

Now I'm back and posting again you've all gone quiet

SPB - really glad you had a better night last night

D is sat 'drinking' his water at the moment. He loves his water but apparently only about 50% of it, the rest he likes to dribble all down himself And he seems to have an obsession with trying to press all the keys on the laptop, he gets very angry with me if I shut it!! Now he's trying to turn it off, thats just spiteful!!

Right have to go and do some housework I guess if theres noone here to talk to...anyone??

PillockOfTheCommunity · 26/03/2008 10:12

I'm here, sort of
feeling yuck and period meaning I'm extra tired. decided it wasn't safe to drive to work so doing what I can from home and my boss isn't in anyway so not much to be done.

Pesha · 26/03/2008 10:20

Have done dishwasher and now back! Dylan wanted bf and thought he might go to sleep but just sat bolt upright all of a sudden and started frantically trying to clamber over to laptop! And I was looking forward to this age because...???

Sorry you're not feeling great pillock

PillockOfTheCommunity · 26/03/2008 10:29

What winds me up is the complete inability of some people to show any insight, inspiration, motivation or pro-activeness - so why people join the committee astonishes me

PillockOfTheCommunity · 26/03/2008 12:11

that'd be me and MN local then
