SPB - 1st one is much closer to where he'll be living and his work and his mum's etc (which is where he is now). The one I'm going to look at later is 3.5 miles away from where I am now in his direction and we drive through there to get to him so not much closer but a little bit Have found it on multimap and looked at the aerial view and it looks great, down a quiet lane with a big green out the front and nothing but fields at the back. Also just round the corner from the village hall and park. So unless the house turns out to be really small I think I def prefer hers but knowing my luck she wont want mine

Dippy - glad you've been able to get a break from the girls for a few hours, I always find a little break makes such a difference to how able I am to cope.

NL - having time just you and B sounds lovely too. I love my big dc to bits but I do enjoy the time I get in the day when its just me and D. M and N were completely manic this weekend charging around like nutters and it gets a little stressful to say the least! Easter hols next week and think I may be tearing my hair out by the end of it!! Fingers crossed for nice weather so I can kick them out in the garden!!

I do love watching all the pictures they do on the baby channel!! More than D does it seems

Today has flown by! I've not even had lunch yet and its gonna be time to do school run in a minute Should really hang my washing out too but theres a few grey clouds looming so not really sure its worth it

NorthernLurker · 31/03/2008 14:30

my washing is out and we're off out too. See you all later!

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 14:39

today is dragging for me, strange, as it's our last day
think it's waiting for the next stinky nappy

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 14:40

Might go and fold washing (yes really) and clean bathroom

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 15:11

oh dear just changed the worst nappy yet

CaptainDippy · 31/03/2008 15:14

Yuk - poor you SPB. xx

I have done some work, now according to my schedule, it is time to Dyson the house - I am behind, so I have only got 1/2 hour!

mammyjo · 31/03/2008 15:22

Hello! SPB, hope T's symptoms settle down soon. F is a little under the weather today too with nasty nappies! She is on her third pair of trousers so far today as it keeps leaking out of the sides! Nice

CD, never feel guilty for needing a little time to yourself. Its what I crave more than anything since becoming a parent. Dh is off to France on Saturday and I have to confess I am bloody jealous. I could never go away for over a week and not see the children though. A few hours or maybe a day is enough for me, then I want them back!!

Mamiguay, glad you enjoyed the film

Pesha, hope you find something you really like soon. If you are having doubts about the first one, then I would definitely be looking for something else. Never doubt a woman's intuition!!

I am having a quiet, stay at home day today. Mr Tesco has delivered my shopping so I don't need to go and take the dc's with me, and I shall be making a leisurely dinner soon. Both dc's are happily playing in the lounge atm and it is actually fairly quiet in here! Lovely

mamiguay · 31/03/2008 15:27

Oh SPB for both T and you for having to deal with it! poor lad.

I've just bought that monkey harnass from that other thread you were on SPB, is it really mean to give my baby a harness for his birthday??

I've also ordered about 10 books for him and dh hasn't even had a look in so no doubt he'll want to buy something. Have I over or underdone it? I have no idea...

mamiguay · 31/03/2008 15:44

I keep thinking I'm mammyjo

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 15:46

me too - in fact when you name changed it was only because you mentioned N that I figured it out.
I fancy that monkey harness too - I don't think you can overdo it for their 1st birthday!

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 15:48

Sorry to hear F has something similar! I wouldn't mind so much but I'm just expecting to get it too, then DH will have it and you know what man illnesses are like! He currently has a bad back

have to confess you did confuse me too mamiguay!

Hi MJ, and Luce......it is half term here too, but I have had a decidedly lazy day here today....... In my defence I have spent lots of time with the dc

CaptainDippy · 31/03/2008 16:23

Don't think it gets easier, Luce ..... only different

Eddas · 31/03/2008 16:30

no time to read thread (am at work, sort of working) but

DD GOT HER FIRST CHOICE SCHOOL

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 16:34

eddas!

oooggs · 31/03/2008 16:41

thank you for your lovely comments about the photos of dcs

well nursery was better this morning - so I am feeling more positive about it

Easier luce??????? when they leave home!!!!!!

my nursery is subsidised by work so wouldn't give you a true indication eddas but the one round the corner is £30 a day open from 7-6.

Mine is open 7am - 6pm (same as office) includes breakfast if there by 8am, snack at 10am, two course lunch at 12pm, snack at 3pm - provide your own nappies/wipes/creams and costs £16.32 per child per day (subsidised by 40% I think)

oooggs · 31/03/2008 16:42

EDDAS THATS FANTASTIC what a relief!

CaptainDippy · 31/03/2008 17:12

Eddas!

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 17:21

That's good oooggs! E enjoyed it more, did she?

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 17:54

What keeps dinging in my house?
new thread title ideas?

Pesha · 31/03/2008 18:03

My mystery ding turned out to be N's spiderman watch!!

Eddas - great news about the school!!

Lady rang about the house and said she had to cancel us looking cos of sister turning up unexpectedly. Said she will ring me about coming here tomorrow. Cant help thinking shes going to view the other house and if she likes it she wont bother with looking at mine And the people in Sherborne dont want to move anymore

StealthPolarBear · 31/03/2008 18:06

Was Sherborne the niggle house?

NorthernLurker · 31/03/2008 18:22

Great news Eddas!
Oooggs - really pleased to hear things were a bit better today
Pesha - oh dear - this moving business is a pita isn't it?
Dippy - how's the rest of the schedule?

Well B and I had a lovely walk over to the shopping place that's a bit out of town - about an hours walk in warm sunshine! Luckily I remembered my purse was back at home in my coat pocket when we were at the end of our street and no further! I had a nice browse round and got some yummy food in M&S then bus and walk home.

Spoken to big girls and they are having a lovely time as well
