the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

EachPeachPearMum · 13/03/2008 20:10

Oh EPPM I'm so sorry. I'm not clear from your post whether you were ttc, or if the pregnancy was an accident that you came to terms with, but if the former then I wish you much luck in trying again. Either way, I am sorry for your loss, and can understand how you must be feeling (had a m/c myself before dd).

Frizbe · 13/03/2008 22:15

EPPM, sorry.

MRM Wiggles they are good live, even dd2 likes them and she's only seen the dvd once, cause dd1 or her have lost it somewhere that I've not found yet, she's forever waving the box at me going, 'Wiggles' but of course its empty, so we can't have it on the merchandise is a right rip off though Now pondering if I should look and see if they're near us at all? Who did replace Greg, I heard he'd left?

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/03/2008 07:44

Glad you are feeling better now EPPM

DD1 was an hour late getting back last night(thankfully it ws dp stood at the school in the rain waiting but she really enjoyed it.

She woke up with a hacking cough and no voice this morning, so will be at home with me all day. No toddler group for us today

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/03/2008 07:50

Morning all. I woke up at 4:45 today and couldn't get back to sleep .

I have toddler group, then a birthday lunch for some of dd's friends, then we will come home, finishing packing in lightening quick speed, load up the car, and drive to my parents.

Guess that means I won't be on much today!

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 08:12

Argh that is a silly time to be awake.

I was meant to be going to see Squirdle today, but Psycho can't go, so DH has no way to get home so I have to stay here Booked a courier too now, but I think if they come early, I am going to see if Boy can get a lift and still go (if she still wants me ).

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 08:54

That really reads like you booked a courier for dh to get home

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 09:57

See if I had thought of that I could have gone to Winchester!!!

I am also currently tempted to collect DD from school at 3.30 and drive to you I think DH might at the petrol money when I have told him we can't afford an xbox game though

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 09:58

But I'm far more important than an xbox game.

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 10:08

Plus a full night's sleep and lie in....

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 10:23

So, erm, hypothetically... if I could justify the petrol... what state is your kitchen in and is the chaos too much for an extra 3 people to come visit? thinkin set off from school, come home Sat night/sunday morning...

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 11:14

Kitchen is fine; half done but not dangerous! not sure re infection; still deciding whether to take ds1 to nursery or not. You are very welcome to come but bear in mind that I really need to run on Sat morning and Sunday morning. i havent run for a week, and its the most important thing in the world to me. I cant leve it any longer. Could be good to get out of the house with the kids Sat as dh has a list of 11 DIY jobs. For example, the new hedges turned up a week ago and we still havent planted them. They're just sitting in a hole in the veggies patch. And we have visitors on Sunday, but they wont turn up till about 10.30 easarliest. Er, that doesnt sound too inviting, does it??!!

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 11:34

Lol, before I read all that, I was coming on to say that it has occurred to me that I promised DD a duvet day with dvds etc because she is so wiped out, and that she will completely melt down if I turn up at school and announce a trip

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 11:35

you're just saying that because you think I dont want you to come

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 11:41

Don't be daft! If I thought I could leave DD home and come anyway, then I would be coming regardless of the list But I think "No you can't buy a game, and by the way, DD isn't coming with me" might be pushin it a bit

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 11:46

Er, I wouldnt have thought it was pushing it. But maybe thats why I'm so mean to dh

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 11:47

And TBH, I'm completeyl perplexed as to how anyone withkids has time to play games. I 'm getting mor eand more doubtful of my time manangenebt skills.

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 11:54

In the evening when they sleep

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 11:59

OR when you do that weirdy exercising thing

Ooh ooh - FINALLY had a letter from customs about refunding my VAT from November... not only are they refunding that, but also the import duties

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 17:34

Caved... bought him the game

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/03/2008 18:02

You can use all that VAT money to pay for i, and still have enough to go to mrm

DP has said he will try and sort out the car tomorrow so I may be up for a visit next week, too.

I hope you get an early night csws.....or will you be drivingto your mms this evening?

mustrunmore · 14/03/2008 18:32

Ah, you need kids that sleep
My evening has about an hour free once they're asleep and i've done all the tidying up crap etc. So I have a choice of talk to dh and have quality time, or run (ie play games in your world). I usually choose runnnig, but do want to still intereact with dh sometimes; would def choose hin over games though!

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2008 19:40

See, that is where I have more time... I don't tidy the crap

I talk to DH sometimes... I think. Maybe. We tend to talk in bed or in passing. You have met him though - he is that quiet all the time, not just with people round

And I wonder why my mum thinks we're on the verge of divorce
