the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Please you lot, tell me you all let your older ones watch loads of TV when you were pregnant with this lot and not feeling up to much, and that they haven't suffered for it.

I thought dd was ready for a nap so lay down with her on my bed so that I could rest too, but she decided to get up and watch tv (still in my room) whilst I stayed in bed (just about awake but resting) for an hour .

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/03/2008 17:37

Cbeebies is a mothers best friend

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/03/2008 17:38

Closely followed by Walt Disney

mustrunmore · 12/03/2008 18:05

Cbeebies was a godsend, given that ds1 dropped his naps at the xmas before these babies were all born!

Having said that, we got in at 4.15 today, and the telly has been on evr since, with me falling asleep on the settee I just cant face doing a proper activity with them. I want to sleeeeep. I did manage to reheat some food for them for tea

My mum took ds to a toddler group this afternoon, he loved it. He wouldn't sit still for story time though . My mum is gonna take him regularly but its shut for 2 weeks now for school hols.

He's on the waiting list for the pre school. I asked how long the wait is and she said he may get in in Sept cos they have some kids going to big school then

for nights sleep csws.

Frizbe · 12/03/2008 20:04

for ds making afternoon toddlers with your mum Phoenix, and for your long sleep (and yours too CSWS) and for possible nursery starting soon (ish)

MRM hope dh isn't getting it

Agree Cbeebies is very good for those tired moments! and C5 in the morning too

think we may be teething here, dd2 had me up 5 times whinging between 11pm-1am and then a further 3 4.30am-6.15 am, I kicked dh out of bed after that as I needed sleep (til 7.30 anyway)

damewashalot · 12/03/2008 20:22

We love 'beebies' in fact when we get back from the school run ds3 has started to ask for it and has to be distracted, he knows the names of far too many haracters on there but I get tired and he can work it! Big ITNG fn now, I thought it was dd but has grown on me and he loves it

Got to go pick up from cubs now so sorry for ignoring everything else.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/03/2008 20:42

I 'cooked' a Waitrose fish pie and a pot of red cabbage and beetroot, so think that only qualifies as reheating too mrm.

We were late for toddler group today because dd didn't want to miss the end of Ben (Big Cook)!

Yay for ds enjoying toddlers Phoenix. Now that's a good incentive to take him to some more.

Yuk for more teething Friz.

Flamesparrow · 12/03/2008 21:49

I don't have time to catch up with the thread due to soddin computer sharing.

Off to finish csi and go to bed. I may catch up tomorrow... unless my child/ren (DD may be off school ill ) want me to parent them or something...

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/03/2008 08:26

Have you all seen Misdee's news?

Flamesparrow · 13/03/2008 08:28

No?!?!!? LINK or tell us...

Phoenix · 13/03/2008 08:30

Yes i saw it last night

Flamesparrow · 13/03/2008 08:30

is she the regular??

Phoenix · 13/03/2008 08:31

here

Phoenix · 13/03/2008 08:32

Oh you found it already

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/03/2008 09:03

Flame - can you work out who this one is - I can't possibly wait 8 weeks to find out!

mustrunmore · 13/03/2008 09:39

The thing about those kind of threads is that if it turns out to be someone I dont really 'know' on here, its an anti climax for me! So I dont bother trying to guess!

So. I'm feeling better. DS2 is feeling ok but clingy. ds1 has bee nthrowing up agaibn; I really thought he as over it. He seems only to be sick ithe morninigd though... have suggested cto a friend that I might have the world's first pregnant boy
So ita nother day of cbeebies here csws; you'd be proud of us!

DontDreamItBeIt · 13/03/2008 10:21

I don't often look at those threads as I just assume I won't know them either!

Glad you are feeling better, mrm. @ morning sickness in ds1.

DD1 has gone to London to see Stomp today so she'll be back late. They are going to the tutenkahmun(Too lazy to check spelling even though I know that is wrong) thing in June. A once-in-a- lifetime experiece! Or it would be if my dad hadn't already bought tickets for us to go in May

mustrunmore · 13/03/2008 10:39

Ooo, I think ds1 would love Stomp.
We havwe friends who have been to Tut, and they loved it, although "the actual thing itself is a bit small"
Just found out the wiggles are playing in Hammersmith in July, and ds1 really really wantsw to go. Now, I could afford for me and him to go. But thrn I think , ds1 went to cbeebies live at just over 2yrs, ds2 will be 2.5 in July, so it'd be mean not to take him too. So that 'd mean a familt ticket and doublethe price.

EachPeachPearMum · 13/03/2008 12:50

I guessed it was misdee!

Sorry haven't been posting on anything serious- life has been too crap, and can't be doing with it

lost a pg last week, and had only just managed to come to terms with being excited, and actually wanting another dc, and the emotional rollercoaster all that entailed, when it was gone. What made it worse was that I hadn't even needed to test to know i was pg- hormones had kicked in, taken over etc already. Was feeling held to ransom by my own body tbh- was only the ovulation hormones that made me agree in the first place! gah.

Sorry- didn't mean to bring the thread down, but thats why I'm being rubbish at the moment.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 13/03/2008 13:21

Oh EPPM I'm sorry. And rubbish at saying good things in these kind of circumstances, so sorry for that too.

EachPeachPearMum · 13/03/2008 13:31

Thank you- am feeling better now the physical aspects have finished.

And you're not rubbish!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 13/03/2008 13:38

Well, I am, becuase whatever situation, it takes me about 6 weeks to digest. And then I work out waht to say/have an opinion/think of a reply etc

damewashalot · 13/03/2008 14:39

{sad} EPPM really sorry.

DontDreamItBeIt · 13/03/2008 15:25

So sorry.
