blimey, I am hoping to have dcs at nursery by 7.45am I am not feeding them but have to get all 4 of us up washed & dressed & in car. Need to leave 7.25am at latest.

I will be working flexi time so have to be in office to start day between 7 - 9.30am, but if I don't feed them they need to be at nursery by 7.45am to make it in time for breakfast.

The earlier I get them there the earlier I can collect them (planning on doing 6 hours)

They start nursery in less than a month - its going fast now

Evening all - it's been quite a day here!

Elkie - glad all has gone well today
POTC - Good to see you back! Sorry to hear J was sick - bit grim isn't it?
GMM - B has discovered our kitchen cupboards too - the rack on the door for pan lids is a particular favourite!
WO - How is C's cough?
Mammyjo - hope you are ok - did you speak to your manager?
Dippy - so sorry about the car catastrophe
Oooggs - ill babies - oh dear
Hi Runny, Luce, SPB and everyone else

Right my day - interview was okish I think (thanks so much for all the good wishes -means a lot!) I won't find out for a bit - and even if I am offered it I don't know what to do - it's been made very clear that it's full-time or nothing. I don't know what to do - in some ways full time would be good - I could really get into the job - but I didn't plan to work that much - bit scared tbh. And it may all be academic as I may not have got it anyway......

So - got home from this to find a poorly baby! The curse of the April babies hits York! B went out with dh in the car to do the school run and then meet a friend for coffee. He said she was very sleepy all the time and when he went to get her out of the car seat when they got home he found she had done the most awful poo you can imagine. He coped pretty well actually - I certainly wouldn't have fancied that job! Anyway she was then very hot and floppy - has spent most of the day asleep. We still went to the farm shop cafe for lunch though (heartless parents) assuming - rightly- that B would sleep the whole time in her seat. She has had two good breastfeeds and a little porridge made with water at teatime and she perked up periodically to show an interest in things before basically falling asleep on the spot. She even tried to crawl through to see dh who was doing stuff on the pc - she got about half way then just sat and held up her arms pathetically! She's in bed now so we'll see what happens next....dd1 has been fine all day so that's good at least.

Now - the other news of the day (drum roll please) our offer on the house we have liked for about six months, wanted to buy then lost, then was sold to someone else, then turned out not to be sold after all and maybe back on the market, well - our offer on that house has been ACCEPTED!!!!! They want to move quickly - suits us So - all being well and lots of prayers and positive vibes requested plaese - we could be moving soon. (NL passes out with exhaustion - it's been a draining day!)

Evening all.

Lots to catch up with tonight you chatty lot.

Caz, hope you get the school result you are waiting for. Nerve wracking isn't it. I have no experience of the coil either, but hope you are ok. Thinking of you

MJ, utterly pissed off on your behalf at your work. Have you spoken to anyone?
Sorry to hear F is still not 100%. Thanks for your lovely comment re my dh. He is very thoughtful and I probably don't do him justice on mn. x

Ange, sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope you feel better soon petal.

POTC, glad I amused you with my phallic squash comment Hope you are ok and there is no more sick. pmsl at the vision of you wish a scarf wrapped around your head!!

Oooggs, you and yours seem to be having a sick marathon atm don't you?? Hope you are all fully recovered soon. xx

Luce, lovely to see you

NL, how did the interview go? How is dd1 now?

Bramshott, how are you doing this evening? How was parents evening? How is your arm?

Hi Runny, sorry you are feeling pants too. Hope you feel better soon.

Pesha, good luck with the job application - sounds good to me if it fits in with school hours.

Elkie, glad your first day back went well. How did D do at the cm?

Hi GMM, and everyone else I have not mentioned. Hope you are all well.

All ok here ... ish. Work manic which is fine, K lovely and back to good health, thank God, but having real trouble with B. She is being awful. She hit her friend (our neighbour who is 10) with a plastic chair this evening. J was really upset and in pain, so I had to and get her mum over. I was so embarassed. I really do not know how to handle B any more. Am going to start a new thread in behaviour/development I think.

fantasic NL - I have family up in that great City and we love it up there - haven't been for ages mind - 3 under 5 is a logistical nightmare with accomodation

NorthernLurker · 03/03/2008 21:52

Caz - I'm so sorry - totally missed out your situation - if you're testing hope you get the result you want!

SOL - thanks for asking - bits of the interview were ok , some bits were quite good, one or two bits not so - I jst don't know what to do if offeredit - and that's a big 'if' I feel. Will look for your other thread. Dd1 is absolutely fine - makes the green poo all the more of a mystery tbh!

POTC - I'll e-mail it to you as well - shush though - don't tell dh - he's refusing to get excited!

Sexonlegs · 03/03/2008 21:54

Cross posted loads there. NL, can I have a loot at the house too please ... pretty please! My email is [email protected]

POTC - no it wasnt the chavtastic scumbags dodgy parkers over the road but the house next door to them down the road, strangely enough good friends of the people opposite only worse!! Apparently it was her kids who started it setting fire to all the bags of rubbish that were by the shed It was a nice street till the 2 opposite moved in!!

CaptainDippy · 03/03/2008 22:18
