Hey Foxy I know about that move
Not great is it.

I'm scared that when we get there we'll they'll shaft us, and if we sell up we won't be able to afford to come back.

Anyway, I don't want to say too much about it on here as too public.

I'd be interested to know what you know/think Fury, if you want to FB me.

Oh its not where it is Daisy, its the whole enforced move and lonliness, and leaving my friends, and support and oooooh .

I'd be an hour away from you Missus!

oh, sorry, missed that about the foxcub being poorly

sounds like some bad nights all around

Report
LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 25/02/2008 12:02

I know about all that having moved here nearly three years ago foxy, but an hour from me though

and i know what you mean about not being able to afford to move back. would it be possible to let your house out down there and rent up here? then you are leaving your options open.

LOL I know I shouldn't laugh (especially with my comedy name), but some of these are priceless

Well that thread has brought a smile to my lunchbreak Daisy

Bad start to the night - the Jamlet woke about 11.30 and took a while to settle again. We had to give her cough medicine and cuddles and DH took ages getting her back to sleep. But then she slept through until 6am, so not so bad overall. But lots of symapthy for those who had worse nights than us.

Hope you get your ear sorted Daisy. Mine is still giving me bother, though thankfully not with balance (apart from for 5 mins after putting the drops in, when I tend to sway across the room a bit)

Hello ladies!

Hope you are all doing ok? (Have had a very quick scan - but have missed too much to catch up on)

Foxy...........If you're going to be about an hour away from Daisy - that means you may be somewhere over in my direction???

Hey DKMA!! Hope you and ds are well!

Hi Holly!

Ds is really well - a total gem. I am working from home today and he is at nursery - the house feels very empty without him

How are your two?

We are all well...they are a couple of pests, but we get by !

I'm on hold to Kiddicare again I think I may be getting somewhere this time! I want this fucking highchair out of my house and out of my life!

hi DKMA...how was the skiing? Better than the wet miserable windy coldness here I bet!

We can finally organise a Northern meet up (with more than two at any one time) if foxy is up this way!

I keep meaning to get through to Manc sometime for some shopping, but the thought of weekend crowds (can't do in the week because of school times) makes me shudder!

bugger, DD is in the cat food bowls again!

ROFL! My ds always sticks his hands in the dog's water at my parents' house. He thinks it's hilarious!

Kiddicare are going to collect the highchair from me! I threatened them with Trading Standards and they folded! HURRAH! I shan't ever be ordering anything from them ever again though. Twunts.

Daisy, do you have any Minkis? Do you know if they are any good?

Hi Daisy
Skiing was amazing - thanks - it all worked out really well - the nannies were lovely and the babies all had a great time together! We are defo going again next year.

I know what you mean about shopping in Manc at the weekend!
I hate shopping with a passion and would rather stick pins in my eyes than go when it's busy!

With that in mind...........I am off to Dublin with work tomorrow and the dress code is 'smart casual' now I've got 'smart' and I've got 'casual' but not both together (unless I go for the work shirt with the jogging bottoms combo!!) so I'm going to hit the shops now before picking the little fella up from nursery and see what I can pick up!???

foxythesnowman · 25/02/2008 14:17

Well Done Holly! A victory for the 'little' consumer!

Hi DKMA! Yes, possibly. I'm not sure where you are. I know vaguely. Will you FB me? I know is a bit premature, but any information I can get is a help. My DP is from up that way too.

I bought some XL minkis holly, for use a night itme pyjama pants for DS....andthey leaked all over the place. I think they are maybe a little on the big side though

I've heard good reviews about them though, and also Wee Notions, which come in lots of lovely designs, that you can specify to make them more exclusive to you...LOOK

Thanks daisy. I've ordered a Slinki for ds and a Yoyo for dd (she is having tantrums everytime it is time for the bedtime nappy because babies wear nappies). I let her pick it out herself, so hopefully she'll want to wear it!

The skiing sounds lovely DKMA! Glad you had a lovely time.

Kiddicare are collecting it this week, I'm am chuffed!
