Stop shopping you know I'm not allowed to buy things (except necessary new things for DD before daisy pipes up about this! )

NCT clothes sale soon though, that's allowed - can't wait! [saddo]

Oh bumper ...do you not know that a lovely changing bag is an essential purchase for a baby? After all, a happy baby needs a happy mum!

Hope everyone has had a good sleep...I haven't. Woke up about 50 times during the night. Dp was snoring, then ds wanted feeding, then I had to wee, then my throat was really sore, then I had to have some painkillers and a drink (put on repeat for the entire night).

I have to get on with chores now, someone has bought my horrible dining table from ebay and is coming to collect it soon. It is really horrific and I was going to take it to the tip, but some loser paid £18 for it! Result! I now need to clear the various detritus from it and give it a polish.

Laters.

Not a great night here either as I was up and down playing nurse to DD. she however seems better this morning and is obviously started reacting to ABs thank god. Still very whingy.

I went to bed and 8.45pm and am still knackered then DH told me he was going to work for a rest....rest from WHAT exactly....since I've done it farking all

Morning all,
Sorry to hear about those having had a bad night.
DS had an adult size ready meal last night and woke up hungry at midnight and polished off 7oz. I swear I have birthed ben hur or something.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 25/02/2008 10:46

glad DD is better norty, and sorry for all the bad nights.

I was doing nappy sorting last night (into lots for sellin) and didn't get to bed till after midnight.

I have been trying to photograph them this morning...not easy with DD grabbing the nappies, squishing up theblanket I put on the floor to place them on, stealing my pen and pad, and swiping the camera evey time I put it down. I'm sure there are wee fingers creeping in to some of the shots.

I've had to put her in her walker whilst I hung out the washing and am feeling very stressed as she has whinged for the last 20 minutes.

Is anyone else finding it really difficult to get things done now they are a bit more mobile?

was supposed to be out for the day but have cncelled due to nasty dizziness still going on; I think it's an inner ear infection so am off to the docs later.

Hanging out the washing....bloody hell....is it that warm up there?

I find that DD doesn't like her bouncer as much as moving around the floor now (albeit by rolling rather than crawling), but she's still whingy even on the floor....I suspect its teeth and the ABs giving her tummy ache...

All I've managed today is to empty the dishwasher....I'm still trying to get my washing out of the tumble dryer....

Are you driving to the GPs Daisy? Need to take it easy....

ROFL fury! He sounds just like my dd, she will eat and eat and eat! If you keep putting food in front of her she will keep eating, it's great! Ds, however, will eat about half a small bowl of food and then turn his nose up and go off to play.

Sounds nasty daisy. Hope you are ok. I need some abs I think. The tonsilitis has not gone away. Ds has his last injections at 12.30 (yes I know I'm slack) so I might just have a word with my dr whilst I'm there and see if I can get some.

I am finding it really difficult with ds being so mobile. He keeps sneaking into the kitchen and playing with mugs and glasses! He is a bugger!

My table has gone...now I have a big empty dining room! e are swapping the rooms round, so the living room will become a play room/dining room and the dining room will become the living room. I may start moving stuff today...or I may not !

cheers norty. I drove yesterday and it took all my concentration. I kept driving by spaces in sainsbo's car park as my spatial awareness has gone and i didn't think i'd be able to get the car in (even tho said spaces would fit a minibus according to dh). It feels like i have permanent motion sickness....very weird and disorientating.

and, it isn't warm, just windy . we are trying to reduce our carbon footprint (ponce speak for economising ) so I'm trying to cut down on tumble dryer use.

Morning everyone. Was it a full moon last night or something?? DS was fine but DD was up three times between midnight and 2, for no reason other than "Mummy, I no want to sleep anymore, I get up". Mummy was far from impressed!

Report
LittleMissNorty · 25/02/2008 11:15

OMG DD just rolled across the room and was hugging the dog's arse when I went in.....I've no worries about the dog, he's so good with her and was busy licking snot off her face but bloody hell, its no wonder she's got an infection

FFS, in the time it took to type that paragraph, he's gone back in the lounge and she was doing it again!

What was that you were saying Daisy about them being more mobile.....

Certainly sounds like an ear infection Daisy....do be careful when parking the car at the doctors

LittleMissNorty · 25/02/2008 11:16

Good on you with the washing btw...I just bung it in the dryer....my DH would prefer me to hang it out I'm sure...

Report
FairyFay · 25/02/2008 11:18

rofl Norty. I agree with them being 'trouble' now that they're mobile. My biggest problem is that DS now has to do whatever DD is doing, and can get to her wherever she is. It drives her round the bend. The house rings to crys of 'No Oliver' and ' Mummy move him' or 'Oliver wants a carry'. He also makes a bolt for the front door whever it's open, even for a second.

oh another one here for a crappy night. Was after 1 when LO went to sleep after another spate of soaring temp and huge vom. Still she seems a bit better today, but still won't be left, so I suspect very little will get done today. I really must put some washing away and find DSs football training cards.

I am watching property programmes and getting myself in a state about a prospective move up North. In 3 years time .

Must be tired.

Oh poor Foxcub.....god I sympathise Foxy....and I've only got her to deal with and not 3 others...

Why are you moving up north? I love homes under the hammer but resorted to BabyTV this morning in an effort to get some peace

I was just watching that.

DPs department is moving up there and I am not happy about it. Nor do I trust his employers enough to sell my soul to them.

As a friend of mine said

"If you go, there is no coming back. That's where you'll be buried."

She cracks me up.
