Hi DKMA! X-post with you.

Sorry, have to love you and leave you. LO really screaming now!

Glad you had a good day

foxythesnowman · 02/03/2008 20:41

Yep Daisy, completely normal. Try not to worry.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 02/03/2008 20:43

Aw foxy . Being on your own is bloody hard work (I can't even imagine it with four).

Have a nice glass of wine and watch some pulpy TV. Take Care.

Hey DKMA, sounds like a good day. DD does unpredictable things with her bowels as well. I think it's their way of keeping us from being complacent

annobal · 02/03/2008 20:43

Definitely feet up Daisy - you have the perfect excuse.

Foxy, Daisy, that's lovely. Genius, a genius I say!

DS3 (who doesn't move or have teeth either) has started waving and saying 'hi'.

Absolutely like a queen - I managed to find myself a jacket and pair of shoes that I 'needed' . Actually we had another couple of friend over to say goodbye - it was lovely but sad.

Are you both feeling queen-like? Foxy, did you have some nice surprises from DCs?

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 02/03/2008 20:45

annobal, how long now till you fly?

are you going to be able to come on and chat, or will you be posting in the middle of the night for us here? If so, I'll be having pregnancy insomnia soon enough so will be able to chat to you in the wee small hours

annobal · 02/03/2008 20:46

Oh Foxy, sorry, x-post! You are supermum you know - with 4 gorgeous children who are an amazing credit to you. Feet up and large g&t being poured for you as we speak

DKMA · 02/03/2008 20:46

Awe Foxy - sorry it's all gone pear shaped - dh goes away with work a fair bit and it is shit, I stress out and I've only got 1!!! You do such a fab job!
Daisy - time to have a hot choccy on the sofa I think!

howdyousolveaproblemlikeRia · 02/03/2008 20:47

foxy. My big two are little gits and have been put to bed early more times than they care to notice just recently (and DH is here, albeit watching SG1)

for you too daisy.

Hope everyone else had a nice day. I got breakfast in bed (bacon & mushroom omelette, bucks fizz and pastries). and got the washing up as DH had to go out. I then cooked lunch and took my Mum meals on wheels as she has been ill with nasty flu for 3 weeks and has only just got out of bed. (My Dad had to go out to a family lunch that she didn't want him to miss). I was going to take the boys to church but the service is next week!

Hugs for chloe & DS trace, and your mum too izzy.

sorry if I've forgotton anyone. Need a drink...

annobal · 02/03/2008 20:48

Yay Daisy - I imagine I'll have jetlag for a while but will definitely be posting. God, only 2 1/2 weeks until we leave the house and 3 1/2 weeks until we leave the country .

Having a slight panic tonight...

Hi DKMA

annobal · 02/03/2008 20:50

should have read that would be posting due to jetlag

foxythesnowman · 02/03/2008 20:50

Thanks guys!
We had no TV today, boys entertained themselves by digging a hole in the garden. Haven't shouted, but that's because I gave up. I cooked a roast for us to eat together, but when it slumped into DS2 showing his arse at the table, DS1 making up stupid "willy rhymes" and his 3 yo sister following suit, I lost it and wept.

What was that you were saying about these lovely children Annobal?

howdyousolveaproblemlikeRia · 02/03/2008 20:52

whats with the brush on dancing on ice?

I didn't even send MIL a card. DH asked if we usually bothered!!! (We did last year because she had a mild stroke, but they haven't been here since well before christmas, and I don't think we've taken the boys there for a while, but no-one seems to have noticed.)

foxythesnowman · 02/03/2008 20:53

oh God! I'm SO sorry, here I am wallowing in a days crapness and I've not mentioned Trace, DS and Chloe!

Trace, hope you and yours are OK.

Definately going this time.

howdyousolveaproblemlikeRia · 02/03/2008 20:54

But we love them foxy .
Must go and find my PJs and wine before Lewis.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 02/03/2008 20:54

ria, how's the job situation for DH? Did he find something?

DKMA · 02/03/2008 20:56

Foxy - I know I shouldn't but I lol when I read about bum showing and willy rhymes
Sounds like my kind of dinner!!!

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 02/03/2008 20:58

it must be an age thing...DS is obsessed with bodily functiona at the moment.

howdyousolveaproblemlikeRia · 02/03/2008 21:10

DH is doing a bit of part-time temping here and there and is looking at finding something regular part-time so it fits in with what he's allowed to do by the DWP, until something better comes up and/or he knows what's happening with his shoulder. I had to go for a New Deal for partners interview I could probably get free training to be a beutician or a nail techinician. No offence to these professions, but it's not me (you only have to glance briefly at my hair/nails!!!)

My DS1 had a friend round the other week who tried to lick DSs feet and stood in front of our TV and was going to pull his own pants down. I have seen him put his hands in his pants and fondle himself in the street too. He is eight.
I would have cried too foxy. Tomorrow is a new day.

howdyousolveaproblemlikeRia · 02/03/2008 21:12

I must go and concentrate on Lewis or I won't have a clue what's happening. Night all. Sleep well and dream happy thoughts (oh for a repeat of last nights main characters but in a more interesting setting!!!)

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 02/03/2008 21:29

I'm off too...g'night all.

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/03/2008 22:42

Hi everyone- hope you all had great Mothers' Day. My DD took me out for dinner (with Daddy's help). We went to lovely Thai place & she was great, sat in the highchair stuffing noodles into her gob by the handfulls. Need to go & catch up now - its been aaaaages.

foxythesnowman · 03/03/2008 08:50

Mooooorning!

Today is another day, the sun is shining, DP is back and two DSs have gone to school.

Sounds lovely T! And nice to have you back.

Hope everyone is well today

Traa-laaa-laaa

TALLULAHBELLE · 03/03/2008 08:58

Morning Foxy. Snowing here. Off to baby signing in a mo. Still haven't caught up, will try again later.

BumperliciousNeedsaGlassofWine · 03/03/2008 09:01

Foxy, glad you sound in a better mood today. Hope the day continues well!

Hi T, how are you doing. Watching the babies with noodles is great! Have you tried spaghetti yet? Sooooo funny to watch!

foxythesnowman · 03/03/2008 09:06

Snow??!

I've always found giving a baby a lemon to suck on rather amusing.

That would make me an awful mother. Actually, I haven't done that to my own children. I do remember doing it to my baby sister though! (Many, many years ago)

{grin]
