Morning all.

GMM, what a load of pants is all I can say. I hope you and C have a good day despite (d)p being an arse.

Luce, good luck with the cake baking!!!!

All ok here. Although dh has advised he is away overnight on Monday and back v late on Tuesday. FFS! I am fed up of being left. Bloody job. I wouldn't mind so much if he was paid well.

K has a snotter of a cold poor love.

Sorry rant over.

Hope you are all well. xx

geordiemacminx · 01/02/2008 08:10

He's gone to work - told him I wouldnt be here when he got home - he just shrugged and said itwas my choice

ellesbelles · 01/02/2008 08:22

GMM, sorry things are not good just now. I'm here if you need to talk over anything - just give me a phone or we could meet for a coffee. I don;t understand why he is being such a sullen so and so about this. Just don't understand men...

geordiemacminx · 01/02/2008 08:25

I hate him for doing this to us.

ellesbelles · 01/02/2008 08:30

But I don't understand exactly what you have done - nothing wrong as far as i can see, so why is he in such a huff about it? Has this sort of thing haoppened before? How is it usually resolved?

StealthPolarBear · 01/02/2008 08:36

Oh no GMM
What do you want out of this? Obviously for him to stop being such an idiot, but apart from that?
Do you need to take some time to think about it? Or will you not get anything clear in your own mind until you talk about it with him?

GMM, going out soon to Garscube, but phone me if you need me. Will be in town most of the day. If there's anything I can do - look after C for a while, hire a hit man, anything, let me know.

xxxxxxxxx

oooggs · 01/02/2008 09:01

Wheres that GMM???????? I have a bone to pick with you!!!!!!!!

James slept 8pm - 8.15am straight through
Erin slept 7pm - 7.45am straight through
Jack slept 7pm - 6am straight through then came into bed with me and slept again until Erin woke us!!!!!!!!

anyway gmm, I woke up at 3.45am (needed a wee) then thought about you and C for an hour instead of going back to sleep

glad to 'see' you this morning and remember to put you and C first

StealthPolarBear · 01/02/2008 09:12

Get away for a few days, GMM - Sorry he is being such an arse!

Can't wait to see cake!

P rolling round on the floor next to me, will be putting her down for nap soon.

I've had a horrid cough for over a week now, yuk!

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2008 09:44

....and YEY!!! for good night oooggs!!

Pesha · 01/02/2008 09:44

Lol at you Oooggs - its hard when they first start sleeping through to get out of the habit of waking up isnt it?! Lets hope its the first of many nights where they all sleep for you!

GMM - really sory dp is being such an arse. Honestly cannot understand what his problem is. You might find a little break does you both the world of good. Hope you can take someone up on their offer of help and support - EB's help sounded particularly promising!

Morning Elkie and SOl

D woke in the night around 4ish but by the time I was sufficiently woken up to get up and get him he stopped crying and went back to sleep!!

Friend is starting Pampered Chef parties and doing her first today at her house for friends so she can practise! Trying to decide if I want to go or not! Dont really feel like going out but I expect when I get there I'll enjoy myself and D will have at least one other baby to play with so he'll be happy too. Ok think I'll drag myself there! Elkie I really dont know how you manage to be out and about so much everyday!

Pesha · 01/02/2008 09:45

XP Dippy - helloooo!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 01/02/2008 09:51

discussing post-coital cornflake eating

Lucewits · 01/02/2008 10:12

GMM

Am so at your dp. You are a lovely bubbly intelligent lady who is a super mummy to your gorgeous little C. I know how much thought and effort you put into your family and your dp doesn't deserve you.

and

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2008 10:13
Hmm
AngeG · 01/02/2008 10:19

Morning

GMM - Sorry your DP is being a pita. Sounds like you need a break for a while. Hope you can sort it out.

Oooggs - Hooray to a good night.

Pesha - Pampered Chef stuff is nice but quite expensive, they cook food as part of the party though which is nice!

Luce - Looking forward to seeing the cake!!

Hope the cough goes away soon Dippy.

Hi SOL - Hope K better soon. Hope you're ok. You sound fed up.

Went out with my first time mums group for a meal last night. Was really nice to get out on my own for a while. Put Izzy down at 7.30pm before I went out and she didn't wake til 8.30am

But she doesn't seem that well today Happy in herself but hasn't eaten much breakfast and just had more boobie, which doesn't normally happen. She's really snotty!

Off to have my hair cut today, pretty sure I'm going to cut to chin length I'm so bored with it and if I don't like it it will grow back. Won't it??

Also got the results of my 2nd follow up smear yesterday which were negative no more for a whole year now... and they took less than two weeks to send the results to me.

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2008 10:23

face was for Pesha's comments, not Luce's btw

Sexonlegs · 01/02/2008 10:31

Ange, I am so pleased for you re your smear result. What a relief. I am ok, just feel like dh is not around much and am feeling somewhat detatched from him.

Oooggs, glad you got a much better night petal.

Hi Pesha, enjoy pampered chef. Like Ange said, the stuff is a bit of a rip off, but it is more about the food and the social side.

GMM, I don't know what to say. I feel for you so much. Hope you are ok.

Off to meet an old work colleague later who I haven't seen for about 3 years! Really looking forward to it.

See you later. xx

mammyjo · 01/02/2008 10:33

Morning all.

GMM, I am so sorry to hear that your dp is behaving like a selfish, stubborn little boy Would your mum being involved really be a bad thing? Maybe talking to her may help you? My mum was fab when I had ds and had pnd (although in the beginning she kept telling me there was nothing wrong with me ). She was incredibly supportive and I really dont think I could have got through it without her.
I really feel for you with the black feeling. I know what its like and it is absolutely horrific. Do you have a good gp or hv that you might be able to chat to?
Really hope you manage to sort something out here, and that your dp comes to his senses sooner rather than later xxx

Ange, fab news about the results!

Luce, cant wait to see pics of the cake! I was smirking to myself at pesha suggesting spun sugar would make great pubes!!

F off to nursery again this afternoon although she seems a bit clingy this morning and is back in bed already. Very unlike her. She has a runny nose and a niggly cough so hoping she is not coming down with something. She has had a couple of unsettled nights too so who knows?

mammyjo · 01/02/2008 10:36

Oooggs, so glad you had a better night, about time too eh!

Ellie, at the cornflake eating. Cant say I have ever eaten them after the event, although I dont get much action these days anyway

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2008 10:39

Hi Ange - enjoy the haircut - be daring!! Can't believe they took that long to get your results back!!

Lucewits · 01/02/2008 10:39

Have tried to create profile with photo of cake, its very rude but where is my profile?
