(Not that all of them actually ARE one yet, but let's not split hairs...)

OP posts:

LTH - you can only deactivate which is shite. There is no way you can delete it but at least you are removed from the site.

I'm not being a scaremonger but wanted to point something out to you with LOs. My dsis has been working on another case of a paedophile ring downloading child photos from the internet and superimposing their heads onto adult porn. Just a thought, for this reason I am deleting photos off my member pages. (not saying everyone should, just I'm not comfy with it).

My house if now on the internet!!!!!!!!!! Eeeeeekkk! Don't know if I should post a link or not, I suppose it doesn't matter? Actually, it has my address on it so maybe not. Bum, I wanna show it off cos it is SOOOOOOO tidy

Not happy with the master bedroom photo thought - do you reckon I can ask them to rephoto it?

J has got conjunctivitis. Got to put drops in his eyes 4 times a day. His BF has got it too and it is his birthday party on Sunday with loads of kids going so it may be cancelled cos it is very contagious isn't it?

PCF - how you feeling now?

ladytophamhatt · 26/01/2008 09:13

it shpuldn't have your exact address wilkie, just Downing street, london for eg, not 10 Downing street.

I've linked all our house moves on here...IMO its no differnet then it being looked at by potental buyers and you never know a MNer might buy it

ladytophamhatt · 26/01/2008 09:15

food for thought re the porn thing btw.....

it felt quite good deleteing all my stuff on FB so I might delete justthe newest photos on here. I can't bare to delete the teeny baby ones, they make me feel all sentimental.

MrsCarrot · 26/01/2008 09:20

Wilkie - that is so horrible. Does your dsis advise not having any on the internet at all then? I have never ever thought about people downloading family snaps.

It pisses me off about fb too, you can't delete it and it can be reactivated in a flash and we have no control. Weird and oddly scary.

MrsCarrot · 26/01/2008 09:22

LTH - can people access them if they are just for your mnet mates etc?

Part of thinks we shouldn't live in fear because of freaks but Im not that happy about having photos up for some reason. I've not put any on fb.

ladytophamhatt · 26/01/2008 09:37

I'm not sure mrsC, I've deleted all but a few now so there isn't much to look at anyway.

Wilkie · 26/01/2008 10:27

MrsC - Dsis has asked me not to upload any photos of the DTs and she has asked their nursery to do the same as they sometimes put photos on their website.

It is a very sad state of affairs, and the chances of it are incredibly remote, but I can't bear the thought of it.

What do you mean about MN mates? Can you set photos just so you lot can see them?

bunnyhunny · 26/01/2008 10:40

hi everyone
about people cutting and pasting faces. how horrible
you can set mn so just your mn mates can see your pictures - i think it comes under privacy.

go on wilkie post your house! I'll do mine if you do yours! I hate having it tidy for viewings - looks like a bombs hit it atm, so hoping no one will want to see it. We had an offer on our house - of 10k below the asking price. yeah, right.
dh is really good at tidying for viewings - stuffs everything in the garage or in cupboards. the place looks spotless the problem is i can never find anything afterwards..

MrsCarrot · 26/01/2008 10:50

yes, there is a setting for your profile to be available to friends only

Wilkie · 26/01/2008 16:49

Wilkie · 26/01/2008 16:49

f*cking links

eandh · 26/01/2008 17:09

oooo who lives there wilkie - obviously not you far to tidy

Actually I have been having mammouth post xmas sort out in payroom put all the puzzles back in right boxes, put a bag of soft toys etc in loft and cleared aloth of space (emptied a cupboard and rearranged it and now can fit all the games/puzzles in there) was going to wash some of the sofa cushions but its cold here and didnt think they'd dry in time.

I was in a foul modd this morning and not sure why went food shopping and came home and dh realised I was not happy so he took girls for a 1.5hour walk to give me some space. He has been playing football this afternoon and E and H been playing quite nicely together (Ellie been 'reading' (ie making up)Hattie her night garden books and got all the night garden toys out and chasing each other around.

My mum and dad phoned to ask when they can have the girls next for a weekend so going o check dh work schedule and let them noe, hopefully either next weekend or weekend after

I am not sure what to do about photos, I have them on here and have never been that concerned, but I may cancel my facebook page as never use it now anyway. I have kodak photobooks that I email family etc with a password.

UD - Hope you have managed to get sorted and come back soon

Ummmmm can't remember who else has posted, I am starving and we're not getting chinese till 7.30 (may go and raid the cupboards as they are brimming after shopping this morning )

Oh forgot to say Rgee if you spk/txt Vino send her our love and hope her and E feeling better and house move went ok

bunnyhunny · 26/01/2008 19:34

my house

your house looks really nice wilkie - and very tidy

I am really pissed off with dh today here
basically he fucked off out earlier than he said, out to stay for the night, leaving me with all of the housework and shopping to do, a baby to look after, and a dog to walk

but I have had an idea for revenge. I am leaving everything as it is (as much as I can bear), and I will take S out to the zoo in the morning then to a party in the afternoon. And I will tell 'd'h that we have a viewing at 4, when unfortunately I will be at the party.
[evil grin emoticon]

ladytophamhatt · 26/01/2008 20:02

Ohh I love a good nose around other peoples houses
Am amazed at the prices, you couldn't get a 1 bed flat for those prices down here....we could live a 15 room mansion with the money we spent buying this house if we came 'op north.

Lizzzombie · 26/01/2008 20:23

Bunny - Good plan!
I am v.impressed with the tidy houses. I am guessing they will be smelling of baked bread and fresh coffee also!

So jealous of the cheap prices in other parts of the country. We live in a total shoebox compared to your houses and it was more £.

My photos on MN are set to MN mates only. I reckon there are too many trolls on this site to trust everyone. Y'know.

DP is out tonight at a mates birthday, but, has does all the ironing (there was alot) so I am very pleased

My tongue is still all swollen, l looked it up on the internet, and apparently its due to stress. WTF?!

eandh · 26/01/2008 20:26

I am moving up north well I would if my family/childcare wasnt down here

This is my brothers 2 bedroom tiny house and its sold!!

this is the hose opposite me nees decorating and its got the origina kitchen and bathroom If I bought it I'd want to redecorate as its got artex on all of the walls (my house is so much nicer )

bunnyhunny · 26/01/2008 20:29

I am down south. our area is cheap, cos it's a village with no shop etc. nearby in newmarket or bury st edmunds a house like ours would be about 25k more. and in cambridge (20 miles away) I don't think you could get a 1bed flat for that.
that's why we live in the arse end of nowhere!

eandh · 26/01/2008 20:31

We had a lovely chinese delivered earlier and Ellie was still awake she came downa nd ate a huge plateful so dh is very proud of her now (she tried every dish and when dh told her that was duck in the pancakes she thought he was kidding as 'nobody eats duck daddy they eat our bread')

Bunny have been in that sitation many a times normally dh says he is going out and be back 1/2am and then doesntappear till 10/11am when I have texted everyone and tracked where he is- so bloody annoying and frustrating. I am meant to be having lay in tomorrow it wont happen as Ellie will be up and down the stairs telling me 'Daddy watching football I dont want football on' or 'Daddy hasnt made me breakfast' or 'daddy cant tie my hair up' etc etc until I give in and get up

bunnyhunny · 26/01/2008 20:32

eah - that's really sweet about the duck!

maybe our dc's should just say - daddy's shit mum, get up and look after us properly!

sorry, I am pre-menstrual, a bit half-cut and angry at dh

bunnyhunny · 26/01/2008 20:35

and can you all post on my aibu thread and say how unreasonable dh is, as I am going to show him the thread tomorrow.

here it is again

eandh · 26/01/2008 20:37

lizz - I was looking for something on net and saw this and thought of DJ nightgarden bedset

Lizzzombie · 26/01/2008 21:39

Am soooooo getting the beanbag! Think the rest of the bedding set is slightly acidtrippy lsd-ish!

So far, on my ITNG merchandise quest I have come across:
Mothercare:
Socks (girls - upsie daisy, boys macca pacca & Iggle Piggle £5 for 2 pairs)
Tops - (girls upsie daisy & boys macca pacca £8 each)
Plate, cup and bowl set - £7.99

Sainsburys: ITNG Celebration cake £8.99 (IT WAS TINY!)
Tescos: Shape Sorter, £14.99 (It was really cheap looking)
& finally various shops are selling the Iggle Piggle trike or scooter. Way over priced.

I am sort of pleased I didnt see all this before xmas and DJ's birthday, as now I have a year to save up for it.
But, also, in a years time, he will be old enough to actually want it all! [shock!]

Am a very proud mummy at the moment as he can now "roar" and "brrooom, brrooom" on demand. However, it was not me that taught him this. It was his nursery teacher. Oops. Must make more of an effort!

katwith3kittens · 26/01/2008 22:37

What lovely tidy houses you all have, it makes me want to make a massive effort to clean ........ not !

The NE has a real mix of house prices, loads of really, really cheap ones and quite a lot of very very expensive ones, Did anyone see Relocation this week ? it was very close to me (D.H. for 2H info )

RGee ... so you are coming up to Seahouses then ? Fab... I just hope the weather is good and you'll love it. Around that time you can get the boat out to the Farne Islands to see all the seals and baby puffins, its a lovely trip... but with a toddler . I went horse riding on the beach 2H recommennds ( or I think it is ) that was one the best things I have ever done, galloping along in the sea is one of those things just HAVE to do before you die. I thought it was better than sex but DH just snorted when I told him that HeHe !

Its about 40 mins away from me, so not far. It would be great to meet you.

eah ..impressed by your influencing skills on the AA man !

Yes.... the weekend away, I think its going to be full of uptight lawyer types, talking bonuses, au pairs, ski holidays and school fees. I'm imagining 'This Life' 10 years on.... but you lot are too young to probably remember it. I'll need to think of a suitable present so any ideas greatfully received.

Apparently there are 'activities' planned. I'm thinking clay pidgeon shooting, quad bikes..... I'm just hoping its not snorting coke and wife swapping

All this internet stuff is a bit worrying, my SIL is American and quite often sticks photos of my lot on her web site without asking me and tbh I do get a bit huffy about it. DH says life is too short, so I'm stuck in the middle !

ladytophamhatt · 27/01/2008 08:49

Morning girls, can you do me a favour? if you still have facebook can you search my name and see if it still comes up?

I hate the fact that you can't delete it.

Lizzzombie · 27/01/2008 09:26

lth - have searched your name and all I get is a list of your friends (I think its you) do you know someone called Lisa Beer? Apart from your friends list, thats all that comes up.

KwK - I remember This Life! I didnt miss one episode and I saw the 10 years on episode too! IMO it wasnt as good as that gay series set in Manchester though. Queer as Folk. I loved that one. Even brought the soundtrack. It is was my 'getting ready to go out music'!
Where abouts near worthing are you going to be? There are quite alot of water sports activities which you can do these days. Fingers crossed its not coke and wife swapping though!
