Morning . Hope everyone had a good weekend, and hope to hear from everyone soon!!! Obviously you have busier lives than me!!!

Diege · 08/03/2008 11:01

has a good weekend

greedygecko · 08/03/2008 14:52

Oh Yes!!!! (football talk, sorry!) I'm definately going to be taking ds1 to Wembley for the semi-final.

BTKsmum · 08/03/2008 18:01

Hi girls

Mad busy here at the moment, dh still in a lot of pain and it's B's b'day today, where did those 6 years go?

We've been to the ciircus today and B's having a party for 45 of his mates tomorrow, we're having some magic then I'm going to do the rest of the entertaining so i'll be coveredin custard pie by 5pm tomorrow, i'll try to post some photos so you can see what fun we have!

Really should do a catch up shouldn't I. T is now nearly 2.5 and is a real character, he has a great vocabulary and one of his favouraites is "don't worry mummy!", he is tall and stocky and loves to play rough and tumble but is also happy to play on his own, he is a bit of a cbeebies freak and will watch it at every opportunity. He and B get on famously and B is happy to play with T and is often bossed around or jumped on by his little brother.

Right b'day pizza is to be delivered soon, so bet go and get organised, hope everyone is having a great weekend and i'm looking forward to our meet up. Love to all Beks

Diege · 08/03/2008 21:34

Hi Beks Happy birthday to B!!! Sounds like a hectic weekend, but lots of fun too . Looking forward to the meet-up too - not too long away now! T sounds gorgeous and lots of fun to have around. It will be good to meet them both!
GG - not too clued up on footie, but presume you are a Plymouth fan? Ot Barnsley? . We were pleased here about Barnsley, and v. pleased that Man U were out!!!

greedygecko · 08/03/2008 21:55

Wrong naval base Diege! ds1 is a Portsmouth fan (and I do support them too, being my home team and all that), but I'm actually a Chelsea fan, so unlike the rest of the country, not happy about the Barnsley result! Although, secretly, I am kind of pleased as I really don't know what I'd have done if Pompey & Chelsea both got to final. But really can't wait to take ds1 to Wembley.

Diege · 09/03/2008 08:32

GG, you know I always gets Portmouth and Plymouth muddled up - they're over 100 miles apart, right?? . I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for the final!
Beautiful day here. Can't believe that there are storms predicted for later! DH out training for London Marathon [shudder] so I will attempt to motivate myself to put on the new Davina dvd dh has bought me . Still got about 8 pounds to lose before I get to my target weight; don't really want to start ttc without getting of it or it will be there forever!
Speak later, diege xxx

greedygecko · 09/03/2008 09:28

lol Diege!! And yes, well over 100 miles away!!

Eek at the storms, just been reading a thread on here about them. Seems South Coast is going to be one of the worst affected areas tomorrow morning. But fortunately it's saying early morning, so hopefully the worst will be over by school run time.

ChaCha · 09/03/2008 12:15

Hi girls,
Quick post while lunch is had.

Diege - Sorry to hear about the house but hoping something even better is on the cards asap. Hope all is well with work and DDs x

BTKS - 45 of his mates!! WoW! A busy but fun birthday i'm sure - try to get some pics up when possible.
Didn't make it back online last night, Y was unwell and as DH and DS1 were out for the night I had a lot of ME time planned hoping that he would be fast asleep. Guess it is a taste of things to come - gulp!
(T sounds just lovely - would love to see him soon)

Will also write update next quiet time. Will now go to Y and try to get a couple of pics up before drinks are in demand xx

greedygecko · 09/03/2008 13:52

ChaCha, your boys are just gorgeous. Can't beleive Y is 13 mths already.

BTKsmum · 09/03/2008 22:01

Hi girls

Well we survived the party and I'm here having some quiet time on my own. Everyone enjoyed themselves I think and B made me crack up when he opened a dragonfly remote control toy and said "wow I nearly wet myself then, this is just so cool" T also loved custard pieing me and insisted on doing it again when we got home, he came in with the paper plate and the can of spray and said "custard pie mummy pease"

Chacha isn't that always the way when you get some quiet time to yourself, one or the other decides it is time to be sick. The photos of the boys are just gorgouse and you look really well in the one of you, motherhood obviously suits you!

Diege and GG sorry to hear about the houses falling through, am sure there is better things meant to be.

Right hope no one gets affected by the predicted storms, love to all Beks

Rodeo · 09/03/2008 22:29

Evening all!
Have spent a good 15 minutes catching up! Sorry it's been so long.
Diege, so sorry about B*&^%$D GOC The git (we all KNEW he was a git!) Hope you get a nice new buyer soon
GG - Good luck with your new buyer Great news on Portsmouth - saw it on Final Score yesterday and instantly thought of you!
BTKS - We had Joe's party yesterday! Only 18 children though (15 were boys!) they were very boisterous, had a few tears, Joe had his shirt buttons ripped off, but a good time was had by all Glad yours was a similar success (though I'm still by 45!) Nice T update too.
Chacha & Twinkle - 20 week scans already?! WOW! Want all the news! Are either of you going to find out sexes? I'm still banking on Chacha habing a girl and Twinkle with one of each A good friend had a little girl yesterday (which I had predicted!) so will be going to see her this week And hopefully not getting broody.
Right DP after the computer, speak tomorrow x x x

Hi all, don't know where the time goes

So, mothers day was lovely, I got a silver Tiffany bracelet engraved with 'Mum'. I did however have an altercation with a mum in the park which put a little spolier on things. I'm just soooo peed off with kids taking noo's toys and parents doing nothing about it, either because they are nowhere to be seen or because they think their precious offspring somehow have a right to 'share' other kids toys. This womans boy took noo's bucket and spade from under my buggy so I asked/took it back from him (no physical contact was made with said child!). I then overheard her bitching about me to her child but when I challenged her about it, she claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. I actually then started to doubt what I had overheard so I left it, but when I was leaving I overheard her again bitching about how disgusting my buggy was to her friend . I really can't stand it when people are snide, but then don't have the balls to say it to your face or back themselves up when challenged. On the plus side, I was out in a different park with a friend on friday and she was complaining about other kids taking her sons toys and how she'd lost over half of his stuff, so I'm glad it's not just me who feels this way. Have resorted to writing noo's initials all over said bucket and spade in big black marker pen!

Was down in the beach house at the beginning of last week to have some trees cut, although typically the one we didn't remove has been blown over in the storms! BIL said he'll sort it for us, thankfully it wasn't too close to the house.

Have been having troubles with Ebay. Sombody hacked into my account and used it to buy a lot of electrical equipment. Ebay cancelled all the transactions and notified me about the security breach, but it turns out there was one transaction they didn't cancel and the seller has put an unpaid item strike on my account . I contacted the seller about what had happened but they never repsonded and then they do this. I've launched and appeal but feel quite helpless. All my feedback says what a prompt payer I am so this is a real downer.

Had my mirena coil fitted on wednesday and so far it seems ok, a few mild cramps but nothing too painful. Wasn't expecting to have local anaethestic injections into my cervix though - ouch!

Miniman is being a total handful, can't believe he's one on sunday . Have both sets of grandparents coming for lunch again, although my dad and partner are staying for the whole weekend. He's standing at every opportunity although no walking yet. He also loves climbing things and charges head first off and over everything.

Noo is delightful, I love the fact we can have conversations now. She's still being a bit upset in the mornings before pre-school but no tears. Her confidence out and about has really grown though and for the first time on friday she was happy to run around out of my sight (not sure I'm so happy about that though!).

Diege, house buying/selling is so difficult. We'd love to move to a bigger house but the prices here are just stupid (at least £1.5M for a 4+ bedroom in the area we want). We're looking at getting a basement excavated, although I know one of our neighbours will really hate us for it. Hope something happens for you soon.

Chacha, somehow I had forgotten you were pg! Hope scan goes well, and I'm guessing you'll find out but won't tell us like last time. My prediction is boy .

Rodeo, I'm still riding and it's going well but slowly. Tried cantering for the first time last week and it scared the bejesus out of me. What kind of party ends up with shirt button ripping? My kind of party .

BTKS, 45? Surely a typo? 45 children!! you are truly a saint . Glad fun was had by all. What do you use as 'custard' for the pies?

Twinkle, again best wishes for scan, agree that being asked to lay down for an hour in a warm dark room would result in sleep for me. Hope you are builder free and getting on with the decorating. We need to find someone to decorate our house, I just don't trust any trader in this city

GG, must confess DH had left the Chelsea match on TV on saturday and I just couldn't pull myself away from it. I even went as far as talking out loud to the TV in the closing minutes of the game! Not even a fan of either team .

Hi to feetheart and brownie if you're popping by and best wishes to Londoner and Bob.

BTKsmum · 10/03/2008 20:48

Hi Nova, good to see you post, your kids sound gorgeous can't believe minman and Chachas Y are one already, where does the time go! Glad to hear your not stressing about having all the family in one place this year, I'm sure you'll have a great weekend.

No typo i'm afraid it ws actually 47 kids and some were missing! I use a spray foam which has a consistency like shaving foam, but doesn't sting when it goes in your eyes. Not sure what my skin will end up if I continue this party ending for too long! Have finally got my business cards printed and I'm working on a website so I'll show you guys some photos soon.

Rodeo lol at Joes party, shirt ripping i'll teach you some tips for boisterous boys when you come to stay!

Right girls off to surf, speak soon Beks

Rodeo · 10/03/2008 20:57

Evening
Nova really love reading your super posts! A nice treat for us all . and at the bitches at the park! Me and Diege are down in April, we'll sort 'em for you! [pounds hand with fist] Miniman is 1?! Where did that year go?? And very impressed with your cantering, well done mate! You must be good, surely it's only your 6th or 8th lesson or so? It can be hard to get but you will (sitting trot, 'feel' on the reins, inside leg on the girth, outside leg just behind, sit up and squeeze on. Do this on a corner and horse should begin on the correct leg ) Just shout for any online lessons!
Have been cuddling my friends newborn little girl this afternoon, Jess thought she was marvellous and kept asking for a hold Though when dp asked her if she was gentle with the baby she said 'No! I knocked her!' and demonstrated by smacking him on the knee with her fist, which she found very funny Playgroup again in the morning, she's still wimpering going in but is fine once we've gone and is full of it when we pick her up which is lovely. Have abandoned potty training, she's just too busy and kept wetting herself so wasn't worth all the washing!
Well the weather here has been calm, even quite bright and sunny this morning, hope you are all and will be ok down in the South and come out of it unscathed, speak tomorrow x x x

Hello Beks! 47?! You're a brave woman! (Or you must have had loads of help! One or the other ) Good luck with your website, bet you'll do great

OP posts:
ChaCha · 10/03/2008 23:11

Hi girls,

Hope everyone is well. Thank you for lovely comments on pics, very nice of you all - love those little boys to bits even though they do my head in most days.

Nova - good to read your post and your two sound lovely, shouldn't come as a shock to me that miniman is 1 but it did, hope your family gathering is a success and stress free for you all.

Rodeo - LOL at Jess. Wonder who she gets that from then? Hmmm....You must get some pics up soon, and that counts for everyone pls!

BTKS - Great move! Look fwd to seeing it. Good game was had y'day, poor DH was in a fluster upstairs as he couldn't find pj bottoms for DS's and they were running around naked screaming and laughing in opposite directions with DS1 threatening to 'pee pee'. He hee...men! Those 5min games are great btw especially when you're not meant to be having fun IYSWIM.

Weather has been pretty awful here and more to come it seems, i don't mind but would rather not take them out other than to local library so am getting the craft box together and see what we can do this week. Roll on pls summer, oh and leaky boobs, and cluster feeding and no sleep and c-sec scar and..and.. and...oh must get to bed.

Love to all x

greedygecko · 11/03/2008 21:00

he hee! Just have to share this! C (the guy I've been chatting to online) is coming to see the Foo Fighters with me! He's just confirmed it, I'm sooooooooooooo excited. I'm probably setting myself up for a fall, but I'm gonna enjoy it all the way!

novadandypowder · 12/03/2008 19:26

Under Chachas orders I've added a few recent pics onto the Y group .

Bet the Foo Fighters will be fun GG (nova points hand to the sky with fingers in r-aw-k formation).

Forgot to add that miniman has started calling for noo by something that sounds like 'nat nat', very sweet. He also shouts out daddy when DH gets in from work. Mummy is always the last to come (sigh)....noo has only really been properly saying it for a few months, before that I was something that sounded like Maisy.

Apparently there is a little boy in noos pre-school class who talks about her all the time to his mum! Noo has gone back to crying before nursery again this week, it's so hearbreaking.

Rodeo, I'm still on the lunge for things like cantering, don't think the teacher would trust either me or the horse otherwise!

ChaCha · 12/03/2008 19:40

Quickie before dinner....Nova pics are beautiful, i cannot believe how miniman has grown - beautiful children. On a spiritual note may I say God protect & preserve them and increase you in wealth and happiness. Much love xxxx

Rodeo · 13/03/2008 11:17

Awww, just looked at the new photos Chacha & Nova, they're all beautiful children
Reaaly should be cleaning, it's Joe's birthday today and have family over later, but can't stop playing with his remote control mini helicopter!

Just picked Jess up from playschool, no tears at all this week! Have just tried to take some pics of Jess but keep catching at wrong moment (eye's half closed, moving head etc, etc!) Rubbish! Will try again later!

Hi, just a quick check in from me. Glad you all seem to be well. The stories of moving house are making me lol. We have all this to look forward to this summer!

The pictures are beautiful, chacha I can't believe how alike they are, and Nova where is your play kitchen from? I must get it. We have a small plastic one at the moment which they are bored with. I posted some new photos a while ago, did anyone see?

As for the meet up I'd be happy to hop on a bus to Beks house and eat good takeaway and chat, I am excited at the prospect.
