Chacha we're still here, it's just that our house is in the grip of a very horrendous bug. It started with minimans tonsilitus (sp), then I got a bad headachey cold (nose still bunged up now), then DH came down with something horrible that until today was confusing the dr's. It's still not 100% diagnosis but they think it was a strep infection/scarlet fever . He appears to be on the mend now but has been mooching around the house getting under my feet since last week so I've been taking the kids out as much as I can. Felt a bit bad today though as noo was so cold in the park she was physically shaking. I went to buy her some gloves for tomorrow as we're supposed to be going to the wetlands centre to see some ducks.
Has been lovely getting out of the house a bit more, looking forward to the warmer weather coming, the days are getting lighter already.
Diege, good news (!?) on the house offer, hope it all happens for you.
Same for you GG, hope you find a solution. Would it be too horrible to bite your lip some more and apologise to bitchy boss lady and get your job back? Sometimes it can be a case of better the devil you know.
Feetheart, lol at being told not to tap on the pooter
Rodeo, still riding, although I had to cancel last week as I wasn't feeling too good. I was on a fantastic horse called Norman last time, a huge chunk of a man! The teacher lets me practice controlling the horse off the lead and it's a real battle of wills as they know I'm not hugely confident yet. I'm still trying to master the rising trot, but I'm almost there I think. It's so physical though, it's really hard work.
Beks, hope you had a fun half term, I think you went last year to a childrens farm, Horton Park? Am I making that up? It's not too far for me to get to so I wondered if you fancied meeting there when it gets a little warmer?
Brownie, exciting news about ttc, I'm really loving having two lo's. I saw some really little babies at the swim class before noos yesterday and they made me feel all squidgy (must stress I still don't want any more!).
My friend had a baby girl last week and called her Darcy Coco. She had wanted coco as a first name but her DH put his foot down. There was a 50/50 chance of her having some disability as my friend had a problem carrying girls (they think that's why she miscarried lots before having her ds2), but from what I can tell everything seems fine.
Miniman is such a cheeky boy, he is so hard to discipline. I can say 'no' over and over and he still does it, he just gives me a wide grin and looks all cute as he's doing it. I'm glad I kept the reins that I never used for noo as I'm sure I'll need them once he starts walking.
Noo is being very charming, and starts pre-school at her nursery next week. She can sing Twinkle, twinkle all the way through and it's just soooo gorgeous to listen to. I took her shoe shopping last week and told her she could pick whichever ones she wanted. She went for these. Whoever designs for Lelli Kelly knows exactly what little girls want. Now she keeps talking about her pretty shoes.
Think that's most of the news for now, I'm always glad when Arsenal are playing as I get to spend the evening on the computer
