Here we go! (or should I say here wii go!?). I'll try doing a link too...

Incidentally, I had a dream last night that Cerys suddenly learnt how to blow proper raspberries! Don't know where it came from but it could be that she has been trying since she was about 4 weeks old and did it entirely by accident yesterday!

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 28/02/2008 21:19

Niamh has just gone up to size 4 too!!

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 28/02/2008 21:22

Kyaka, not sure if I should say my name here, but if it helps, I'm now friends with Arbensmum

kyala · 28/02/2008 21:24

Ok Hopey I've just poked one of PLP's friends, there's a pic (as I can't view the actual profile) that looks a bit like Niamh so hope it's youuuu lol
If not I have just poked some random person!

kyala · 28/02/2008 21:28

Ooh that's not you then!! lol Just poked another, can't really see the pic properly but it's a dark haired woman (from the side so can't tell if it's you) and a baby girl. . .

kyala · 28/02/2008 21:32

Ok I give in my FB name at the moment is Niamh Woowoo!

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 28/02/2008 21:34

I'll add you as a friend then Niamh Woowoo!!

kyala · 28/02/2008 21:38

PurpleLostPrincess · 28/02/2008 21:48

ROFL, this is the best fun I've had in ages! I think you have poked Arbensmum - I've been inspecting my friends pictures and thats the only one with that sort of picture... If not, I'm sure my friends won't mind lol!

Going to get a baileys to cheer me up then I'll be back.

someone tell me about facebook. I don't get it.

trinity1 · 28/02/2008 22:00

Hi all, haven't posted in ages! Time has flown since DD2 was born. Am totally exhausted! DD1 just hasn't taken to her at all. She mostly ignores her but I was told not to worry and that eventually she'd come round when DD2 is older. She's already teething and in size 4 nappies, bless her.

Sadly their daddy and I didn't make it. Think having 2 children in quick succession sent him the other way and we separated at the end of January. Finding it very hard looking after 2 children under 2 on my own, and am still getting over the split but am sure us 3 girls will be just fine.

PurpleLostPrincess · 28/02/2008 22:05

Awwww trinity ((((((big hugs)))))) Sorry to hear that you split up. I was on my own for nearly two years before I met DH and although they were a bit older (7 and 3 I think); I kind of know what you're going through and how hard life can be. We're here to listen if it helps xx

kinki - to be honest, I still don't get it either, but I've given in and I'm trying to go with the flow. DH created a profile for himself yesterday too so I'm a little bit ahead of him but still quite confused lol!

flippin'eck. Someone wants to be my friend on fb. Just got an email. Funny how that has happened while I'm talking about it here. . So I'm just going to follow the link. Hope it's straight forward.

In the post I lost I was moaning I was billy no mates on fb. But now I have 2.

Welcome back trinity! So sorry to hear about the split with dh/p. It must be hard for you. My bf was in a similar situation about 3 years ago. She's flying now. The girls on this thread are an amazing and inspiring source of support and friendship. So stick around .

PurpleLostPrincess · 28/02/2008 22:36

kinki have you joined the mumsnet group? I'm trying to find you but can't (have got your real name from our old spreadsheet)...

OP posts:
kinki · 28/02/2008 22:40

No. How do I do that. [dim emoticon] I just found you using the same way. So I'm gonna try to be your friend.

kinki · 28/02/2008 22:51

I've lost you now and I can't find you. Can only see you when I'm not logged in. When I log in you disappear.

Been looking for you hopey too. Kind of got a little distracted looking at a rather nice piccy of someone with the male version of your name. Didn't see you there either. I'm probably doing something stupidly wrong here.

PurpleLostPrincess · 28/02/2008 23:01

LOL! I'm off to bed now but if you haven't managed it by the morning I'll try and have a look for you. If you can get to my profile, you should be able to view which groups I'm a member of and get to the mumsnet group that way. Then, you can compare your screen-name and find out others... (as described below).

Ok, think I found plp, hopey, kyala, mrsfish and arbensmum. Won't be posting my mn name and my rl name together. But requests that came from me came at about 11.30 pm.

PurpleLostPrincess · 29/02/2008 08:15

Yes, its me, yay! I've sent friend suggestions to you of the rest of us so that should help ;o)

Have a good Friday everybody!

Arbensmum · 29/02/2008 09:38

It is very weird knowing peoples real names its hard to connect the two!

kyala · 29/02/2008 11:31

PLP Arbensmum is already one of my friends but I'm sure your friends will have great fun trying to figure out whether they know me or not! lol

Trinity: That's aweful, I'm so sorry to hear that you've split up My DH's friend has left his other half (their LO is the one month older than Lucy) but it's mainly because she's quite an unreasonable person (he's stopped socialising and yet she's going out most of the time and causing him to be late for work on occasions too because she wont come home to take over with the LO, she doesn't work so it's ussually just down to her having drunk too much and wanting to sleep more ) and he's having a really hard time with it all, split ups are really hard when you've got a tiny one.
I hope it all gets a bit easier for you hun.

Ok I'm slightly confused I've now got 2 more friends requests, one with just Arbensmum in common (nice profile pic, looks very sunny there, let me know who this is and I'll add you ) and the other with all 3 MN friends in common so will add that one straight away.
If anyone else finds me just pop a little note with the request as to who you are and I'll add you straight away (I don't want no random stalker types finding me and giving me gyp, it'd be just my luck )

Hope everyone else is cool and all the LO's are doing well. Lolly had her weigging yestaerday, she didn't put on quite as much over 2 weeks as the week before but she's around the same centile so that's good, and we discussed a bit of weaning, although I might just skip baby rice altogether and get her tasting goodies! (I just want to see her make faces don't I?!! )
x

kyala · 29/02/2008 11:36

Arbensmum: I'm finding it quite easy as I'm remembering your (and your LO's) faces more than anything, and most people have their own face on their profile pics so it's not too hard to connect, although saying that, ussually I'm aweful with putting names to faces!

I refuse to put my face anywhere on the internet until I have either lost weight or got photoshop to make myself look more human!

I found an old picture of me and I looked quite the hotty, I have always felt quite bad about the way I look (although outwardly a confident person, seeming not to care) but this sort of kicked it home as to just how much weight I put on with DD1 and not managed to shift it, so am now looking at swimming (they've got a creche so it'd be great "me" time too), now just got to get a discount card and I'm away!

kyala · 29/02/2008 11:51

AAARRRGH! DD1 just tried to give Lolly some digestive biscuit!!! (I was just heating Lolly's bottle before you ask )
It's nice that she's sharing tho!

kyala · 29/02/2008 12:53

Well that was fun Lolly just spewed her whole bottle's worth all over me (I had a cloth on her so it practically missed her! ) and she's now sat in her chair, happy as larry, playing with her nice clean dummy (after fascinating in it getting covered in cheesey puke and wanting to play with it then!) and she's giving me the "mummy blow raspberries on my cheeks" face (she offers her cheek for raspberries, it's very cute!)

Aww now she sucking her thumb. . . no no, don't care how cute it is she's not having it [harumph emoticon]

kinki · 29/02/2008 12:58

Could have been me kyala. I haven't a bloody clue what I'm doing there.
