POTC - are you ok or are you metaphorically vomiting now as well?

Octo · 03/01/2008 23:12

Metaphor for what?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 03/01/2008 23:13

you mean 'virtually' vomitting?

NorthernLurker · 03/01/2008 23:20

'virtual' vomiting would work - your right Octo - it should be a metaphor for something to be allowed in the conversation but I lost sight of that - you're not the only one confused now

Morning

Maveta · 04/01/2008 08:14

morning! SPB N is obviously on a one-day time delayed esp connection with T. He was up at 5.30 this morning. What time was T up today so I know what to expect tomorrow??

Eddas · 04/01/2008 08:18

morning! you all appear once i've gone to bed that happens all the time i'll try not to take it personally

spb, haven't done the bounty picture yet, which is why you can't see it

StealthPolarBear · 04/01/2008 08:26

A very reasonable 7 Maveta! He went to bed at 9.30 but requested a dream feed at 11.30. Was he up at 5.30 yesterday? I can't remember zzzzzzzz
How do you know when they're having a dream feed and how do you know when they're awake but just not opening their eyes?
Oh dear, he's just wprked out how to open our doors, now nothing is safe

StealthPolarBear · 04/01/2008 08:27

eddas get that bounty picture done! I had to take a picture of the letter they sent me, but you said you'd bought them so should be easier

oooggs · 04/01/2008 10:37

right have changed the age bit and a few amendments now!!!!!

runnyhabbit · 04/01/2008 10:43

just a quick one

am in work atm and seriously considering walking out

have had enough. did not get paid full amount at end of dec because of cash flow problems. didn't find this out til one of the fitters rang to ask where his money was. boss didn't even think to tell me himself

nursery is paid for in advance, all my bills have been paid, so I really could just walk out.

runnyhabbit · 04/01/2008 10:49

and just to add in to the mix -

dh has man flu, and I swear he has lost use of any common sense
not sure that W has chickenpox. started a threadhere he has been waking twice in the night, so am getting NO sleep
we are meant to be going out for my birthday this weekend (my parents babysitting) except dh hasn't actually asked me what I want to do, and has decided we are going to the cinema to watch a film he has chosen

oooggs · 04/01/2008 10:49

crap runny - last thing you need in January I would walk, but then I am very hot headed and stroppy at the moment and would tell them to poke it.

But you are much more sensible - so think about what you and dh want to do and go from there.

How quick could you find something else? Do you need something else? Can you afford nursery whilst you look? That is if you want them to stay there. Would you want to/afford to be a SAHM?

StealthPolarBear · 04/01/2008 10:50

oh no runny!
What is it you do? Have you spoken to your boss?

oooggs · 04/01/2008 10:50

now with that extra info I would walk out on work, dh and dcs

runnyhabbit · 04/01/2008 10:54

well, nursery is paid for in advance, so they are fine until the end of Jan.

could not be a sahm. just isn't me.

the pay thing is the last straw. the travelling has been getting to me, and so has the general attitude in the office. no-one seems to care anymore, iyswim. I've always enjoyed working, like being me instead of mum, so really feel like a fish out of water.

runnyhabbit · 04/01/2008 10:56

I am in the office on my own

maybe its a good job, otherwise think I would say exactly what I think, then leave
