Noel Fielding??? I mean I love him on buzzcocks but I guess I am more conventional in my fancy men, y'know, Brad, George, Colin Firth, Eric Bana, Antonio Banderas...etc.

thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 19:24

Is he the one that looks like the trainee undertaker?

I would have the two squares of chocolate every time

I notice you didn't add Clarkson to your list bumper. I like Jack Davenport & Ben Miles off Coupling.

Now I won't hear a word said against WW!

foxythesnowman · 13/01/2008 19:34

Fingers crossed for some answers Trace.

Pumpking, so sorry about DD

thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 19:39

It's so not fair - everyone makes money out of fatty me, WW, SW, Cadbury, Walkers, etc etc. Need to turn this round and have me make money out of them

Wishing you and yours so much luck for the tests trace, hopefully you'll get the answers this time.

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 13/01/2008 19:47

Good luck Trace - hope all goes well....

LittleMissNorty · 13/01/2008 19:49

Who's Noel Fielding? Someone find me a photo....god I know I'm old but....

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 13/01/2008 19:54

Noel

milkyJammy · 13/01/2008 20:02

Good luck for tomorrow Trace.

Ah yes, how could I have forgotten George (Clooney, I presume)? And yes, seriously, Simon Pegg! So much so that I have a real aversion to the actress Lucy Davis because her character in Shaun of the Dead was mean to Simon Peeg's character!

milkyJammy · 13/01/2008 20:02

Pegg, not Peeg!

thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 20:03

scary more than attractive IMO but each to their own, I like my men a bit more ... boring if DH is anything to go by

I was thinking of the presenter that isn't Mark Lamarr.

OP posts:
thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 20:07

Isn't she Jasper Carrots daughter?

Also she's quite successful, thin, pretty, popular, etc. That's reason enough for a bit of an aversion. Haven't seen Shaun of the Dead, I think it's on next week. I have to admit I didn't get Hot Fuzz at all

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 13/01/2008 20:13

wasn't it on last night Ria?

I appear to be watching Top Gear, but only cos the darts has finished.

thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 20:13

I am bored. DS3 won't go to sleep and won't feed. Heartbeat is rubbish tonight.

And, I have to go out to the garage in the dark to get something out of the freezer cos DH has had a lovely relaxing bath and got changed already. I am scared of the dark

OP posts:
thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 20:15

might have been foxy. I was reading DMs TV guide today.

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 13/01/2008 20:19

Heartbeat is rubbish every night!

Am pleasantly surprised by Top Gear though!

Am having my favourite Quick Roast Chicken (free-range, naturally!), browsing the Lakeland sale and pottering on here. Am really quite content!

Where's Derlor????

FattyFairyFay · 13/01/2008 20:20

Hello everyone. Welcome Pumpkin and sorry to hear about DD. Please stay, we are mostly quite nice

We've had a lovely weekend, after a week of horridness and poorly DCs. We went to Brighton yesterday on a whim and really enjoyed it, and today went to see my brither in his new flat in Tooting. But because my DSis is going back to Oz tomorrow, although she is coming back in July for a wedding which is

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 13/01/2008 20:26

Evening chickens!

Welcome pumpkinhead! Sorry about your little dd . Hope everything is going well with your (not so) little ds! You don't win the biggest baby comp! That honour is all mine , he was 10lb 8oz!! Big babies rock, don't let any nasty hv tell you otherwise!

I also fancy the pants off of Alan Rickman, he is scrummy! Simon Pegg , not so sure, Noel Fielding I can sort of see the attraction there...though I wouldn't climb over my dp to get to him...Kris Marshall, however...

Trace, hope everything goes well tomorrow with little C. Fingers crossed for you xxx

thisisRialifebaby · 13/01/2008 20:27

Top Gear is good, but DS1 would want to stay up and watch. heartbeat is too boring for him

Was wondering about derlor too. She did say she was going to visit her sister I think?

about your sis FFF, but yay for wedding. can't wait for July as my big sis is coming hom e then too, and I think I will ask her and my nephew to be baggins godparents. do you think 12 is too young?

OP posts:
milkyJammy · 13/01/2008 20:27

DH has started watching Top Gear recently and the "Dave" channel seesm to have it on endlessly so we watch it lots. I have to say I'm quite liking James May from it . You may have gathered by now that my taste in men isn't particularly conventional

Shaun of the Dead MUCH MUCH better than Hot Fuzz in my opinion

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 13/01/2008 20:28

Foxy, are you serious about the darts? I watched it yesterday for the first time (onl;y because it was on and I couldn't be bothered to get up and fine the remote) and I actually quite enjoyed it! I was amazed at how quickly they have to add up in their heads!

Heartbeat ! Not my bag!

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 13/01/2008 20:28

Woah, typo city there!

Pumpkinhead · 13/01/2008 20:29

Thanks for all the nice welcomes - you are a nice bunch aren't you!

Norty - my LO was born on the 23 June, five days overdue. The birth wasn't very pleasant (is it ever?)and I needed ventouse and then forceps to get him out. Feels like a long time ago now though.

Ria - I do Facebook sometimes and remember you all talking about it before but can't remember what your group is called. If you let me know I can join and you can see a picture of my LO.

Trace - really hope you get some answers and positive news tomorrow.

Well I went for a very quick walk earlier and accidently came out of the shops with a yorkie bar. I am meaning to start my healthy eating plan soon, but I don't seem to have much willpower at the moment and have convinced myself that because I'm still breastfeeding I'm allowed to eat lots of crap.
