Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's not a kinky whip, it's for horse riding! I'm not really into S&M!

sputnik · 11/01/2008 15:38

It's grey nd mserable here. There that cheered you all up!

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 15:39

Fuck! My ds just stood up at the sofa on his own...then promptly fell over! He is too little to be doing all these things, I want my baby back ! I am really sad about him growing up so quickly. I really feel like I missed out on him being a baby because he was so big he never really felt like a baby to me.

It's like the end of an era!

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 15:40

It's dark here, I've just switched all the lights on!

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 15:46

We have a dingy North facing living room so have the light on all day at the moment

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 15:47

well north east more than north, but still dingy

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 15:47

I have a dingy north facing garden! Bloody impossible to grow tomatoes!

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 15:51

Lovely South West facing garden here

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 15:51

Yawn...I really have to go and tidy upstairs. The boys are coming later and it is a farking mess up there. Gonna have to take ds with me though in case he stands up again and does himself an injury!

Laters!

sputnik · 11/01/2008 15:54

Bloody hell. Baby Sputnik still hasn't rolled over yet!
Actually Holly i wanted to ask you about those baby leg things as i was thinking of getting some - he really loves nappy-free time and moves a lot more - whch i'm trying to encourage. Are they quite stretchy as he has really fat legs?

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 16:00

Yeah, the babylegs are good. I bought them to cover dd's legs to keep them warm whilst potty training, but ds wears them when he has nappy off time too. Dp is convinced I am trying to turn him into an extra from Fame! My SS sent me some shorter knee covering ones, which are good too.

They are really stretchy and are supposed to fit up to age 10. For the little person they fit sort of over the feet and right up the thigh and for the bigger person they fit like normal leg warmers.

HTH xx

Right, I'm def off now!

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 16:00

You're not alone Sputnik. C loves nappy free time too and does move a lot more then (so much so that the mat to protect the carpet against wee is almost pointless!). She has rolled over a few times, but no often at all.

annobal · 11/01/2008 16:18

Afternoon everyone!

LOL at Peppa Pig Holly. It's about the only one that I actually can stand watching, and sometimes, when I put the DCs to bed...

Waxed and lithe indeed Foxy - I'm going to leave that one firmly on the beauticians couch with the machette where it belongs

Oh dear - I've plainly had too much sleep today (sorry, really not meaning to gloat). A really lovely friend (how much do I love this friend) picked DSs up from nursery today and has taken them back to their house for a play - due home around 5.
Am feeling far too indulged for my own good!

sputnik · 11/01/2008 16:19

Guess they'll do it in their own good time! dD too ages to rollover too.
Maybe i'll try hm in some of DD's long sox.

annobal · 11/01/2008 16:22

Holly, do you know where I could get the baby legs - a google search just gets me baby leg warmers...

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 16:24

hi annobal

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 16:27

I got my Babylegs from here. They are the cheapest place I've found as they are 4 for 3.

Why can't I get off the farking pc? I have a problem!

annobal · 11/01/2008 16:28

Hi Jammy, having a good day? Need to get DCs dinner ready so it actually looks like I've done something today

Skinny jeans sound great Holly.

How's the posh do Bumper?

annobal · 11/01/2008 16:29

Thanks Holly

sputnik · 11/01/2008 16:29

Thin that's them Annobal. Hope you're feelng nicely rested now. i am looing at the baby's bare bottom on the playmat and can tell you all he has a great career ahead of hm as a sumo wrestler

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 11/01/2008 16:57

Hi all. Looks good actually, I'll get DH to take a picture later and email it.

For those that were asking, the novel is going slowly. It's difficult to find time to get stuck in, plus I'm quite impatient and don't want to write all the boring filler bits that create the atmosphere! I'm not sure that I am a great writer, I don't know why but I always just assumed I would be able to well, even though I haven't done creative writing since college. I just read chick lit and think "I could write that". Well see anyway. I just need to get some time to get stuck in.

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 17:45

Bumper, is it snowing round your gaff? If it is I am v !

sputnik · 11/01/2008 17:57

My parents have snow on the hills. Then she was saying it's quite mild

annobal · 11/01/2008 18:09

LOL Sputnik - he sounds gorgeous!

annobal · 11/01/2008 18:11

Just nasty old rain here...

The 'do' sounds lovely bumper.
