Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

More like sleet holly, not settling.

Btw I forgot to say earlier, Daisy text me while I was getting my hair done. Her mum died. She's going back up North and will be back on in about a week

HellHathNoFury · 11/01/2008 18:52

Oh no poor Daisy

LittleMissNorty · 11/01/2008 19:10

Oh poor Daisy and family

annobal · 11/01/2008 19:17

Poor poor Daisy, my heart goes out to her .

FairyFay · 11/01/2008 19:19

big hugs for Daisy and family, I'm so sorry

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 19:20

Oh no . I was just composing an email to see if she's ok.

I think I'll pop a card in the post to her in the morning.

FairyFay · 11/01/2008 19:22

Bumper, I'm glad the 'do went well

Foxy/Annobal/Andiem/Anyone else - I could do a Putney meet up on a Wednesdays
(with both DCs), or a Friday (with just DS). I can occasionally do Tuesdays (but definitely not next week). Monday and Thursday are no good as DD goes to nursery in the morning and is totally exhausted in the afternoon (as she seems to have given up naps ) so it's a bit of a disaster trying to take her anywhere.

FairyFay · 11/01/2008 19:24

Holly, maybe you could say that we are all thinking of her and if any of us can do anything then she only has to ask.

LittleMissNorty · 11/01/2008 19:25

mmm I was thinking the same thing Fairy.....we don't have her address so it would be nice if you could Holly?

FairyFay · 11/01/2008 19:32

Sorry, I'm not trying to hijack your card Holly, but it would be nice if she knew we were all thinking of her

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 19:34

Of course I will.

foxythesnowman · 11/01/2008 19:46
Sad
milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 19:48

Hugs to Daisy and family.

thisisRialifebaby · 11/01/2008 20:38

and second what FF & norty said.

OP posts:
BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 11/01/2008 20:42

Holly, would you mind emailing me daisy's address? Don't worry if you don't want to, but as I have met her she knows I'm not a hairy trucker (not sure the same could be said for the rest of you...)

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 20:45

Sure bumper, I'll do it now.

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 20:49

I don't want to end up with Daisy's address being given out to all of us without Daisy's agreement (though sure it'd be OK for some, as mentioned by Bumper), but if someone who is sending her a card/letter can send my sympathy as well please...

FattyFairyFay · 11/01/2008 20:50

teehee, Bumper sf that your new hairdo?

I feel sick, just scoffed far too much pizza and garlic bread. The diet is not going well

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 11/01/2008 20:55

LOL fairy! DH and I just polished off half a box of after eights!

Thanks holly. I text daisy and say we are all thinking of her.

Off to finish my book. I'm just reading Kazuo Ishiguro "Never Let Me Go". OMG it's brilliant! Anyone else read it. I don't thing I would have picked it up if I knew what it is about. So creepy yet wonderful at the same time.

HollyIsAHippopotamus · 11/01/2008 21:00

Done and done bumper. Sorry it took a while, but ds decided to have a screaming hissy fit!

I'm off to watch Jamie's chicken thing.

Peace and love xx

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 11/01/2008 21:02

Thanks holly, I didn't expect you to do it right this minute!

milkyJammy · 11/01/2008 21:03

I am very of pizza and after eights. We had a relatively healthy root vegetable stew - would have been v.good I think if I hadn't nade dumplings. But I only had 2 small ones so not too bad? And I do have a chocolate skinny cow for pudding

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 11/01/2008 21:07

Jammy I just posted on the other thread that somewhere (torn from a magazine ) I have a recipe for dumplings without suet. I'll try and search it out for you if you like.

Right off to finish my book then bed, night all xxx

thisisRialifebaby · 11/01/2008 21:07

we're having pork chops(couldn't afford steak - bloody sainsburys), homemade chips, onion rings and sweetcorn. No pudding though.
And I wonder why I'm fat

Is it chicken welfare week or something? Am not watching (dislike Jamie Oliver more than live chickens)

If you could Bumper, that would be lovely
