no probs fury we have been to paleros and san agostino and are going to lakitira in may san agostino was better than paleros bigger resort etc but they are all vv child friendly and have milk kitchen etc child friendly food
the one thing I would say is the rooms aren't luxurious but very clean activities are very good you can learn to sail and windurf for free and the spa treatments are nice but have to pay for those
my ds1 absolutely loves it has a fab time and you get a nice mix of me and family time we have just booked ds2 into the baby club for the mornings in may
there are reviews of san agostino here

Morning!

How was the school run Andie? Shock to the system?

How's everyone today?

Big pisser about DH Ria. But as Annobal says, he's avoided working with another bunch of tossers. Can only be a good thing.

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 07/01/2008 10:15

not too bad foxy manged to get my lipgloss on in time

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 07/01/2008 10:56

Morning, how are we all today? we are going to try & venture out to the library today but it looks grim out.

sputnik · 07/01/2008 10:56

Congratuations on the lipgloss Andie!

With the holidays, we haven't been on holiday on our own since DD was born but have taken holidays with the in-laws and my sister, which help with the childcare - they can watch the kids while you take a swim etc. DD is not really the type to be left with people she doesn't know unfortunatly, though she's much better now than she was. Also we are cheapskates! Who knows when we'll get to actually go somewhere interesting again!

Trace, best of luck with Chloe's tests, hope they can finally give you a diagnosis.

Ria that is really a bugger

LittleMissNorty · 07/01/2008 11:03

Morning

My car is in for a service today so had a REALLY COLD walk back from the dealer.....its not far so I couldn't really justify the courtesy car.....

And because there is no car on the drive, the lady from NEXT assumed I wasn't in and left me a card..."I tried to deliver" and I've got returns here for her to collect

sputnik · 07/01/2008 11:08

I have a very snotty baby, he was too stuffed up to eat this morning and cried for ages. Had a temperature too. He finally managed it in the end. Now he's asleep on my lap and I'm trying to pluck up the courage to transfer him to bed.

sputnik · 07/01/2008 11:11

Bugger I sneezed and woke him (getting the cold too)

LittleMissNorty · 07/01/2008 11:11

Ahhh poor little thing Sputnik....calpol at the ready....? Hope he sleeps.........

sputnik · 07/01/2008 11:39

Poor thing, I'd put him on the armchair in front of the tv. He just started moaning, DD had piled all his soft toys, a book, various rattles etc. I think he was suffering from bear-overload!

milkyJammy · 07/01/2008 12:16

Trace sorry I must have missed your post about Chloe, but from responses it sounds like you have test results coming? Fingers crossed for you all.

DD still snotty here Sputnik, so I sympathise. She was having problems feeding and breathing at the same time at 4 this morning She's Ok though other than her nose, and we've been out to a group this morning. I got soaked on the way back as the rain came mid-morning, but she's bug-snug under the raincovers etc so that's alright. Has put me off a nice long walk this afternoon, but I have tried to have a more healthy lunch than I have done of late - one bagel and a cup-a-soup, and will have some fruit later and will NOT open any more xmas leftover biscuits/chocs!

HellHathNoFury · 07/01/2008 13:17

Yes I missed Trace's post too.

Snot here as well (DS not me). copious drugs do the trick but he is refusing to eat anything except porridge atm. Including milk. Well he has rejected milk feeds anyway now. Early I know but you can't make him eat it lol.

I really really want some crisps.

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 07/01/2008 13:34

resist fury resist I am back on ww today after xmas and have lost FIVE POINTS from my allowance due to weaning might have to go back to exclusive bf so I can scoff choc again

thisisRialifebaby · 07/01/2008 13:40

My willpower is a bit weak today. If someone offered me a bacon & egg roll...even after the burns when I dripped boiling hot egg yolk down my cleavage on NYE (could only happen to me).

My soup was delicious though, I will have to make another batch as I only have 1 portion left in the freezer.

We made school by the skin of our teeth, and didn't walk as planned because DS2 was still asleep at 8.30, I couldn't get him to wake up (he didn't settle til after 9.30 last night, baggins was awake til nearly 2am). I am knackered and achievemevt-wish I had a duvet-snuggle with DH & baggins, then I had a bath and finally washed my hair. Might do some housework now, might not. I think the boys would benefit from a nap actually

bah and yay Ria

DaisyBoo · 07/01/2008 19:23

is there anyone out there??????

every time I come online there's no-one about

LittleMissNorty · 07/01/2008 19:35

Hi Daisy, I'm around but not for long as dinner is only 5 mins away. How are you? How's your mum?

DaisyBoo · 07/01/2008 19:40

yay...someone to talk to

I'm fine...getting the house back tro something like normal. I got home on Sat but haven't had a chance to catch my tail yet as we left in a bit of a rush before Christmas.

Mum is much the same...good days and bad days. She has a couple of days where she is upbeat and seems really well, than three or four days of being not great at all. The downs after the highs seem to be getting worse though , but we've been told that this is normal progress of the disease. She hasn't had her morphine increased for nearly two weeks now though, so that's something I suppose.

Wish I was still up there, but DS needed to get back to school as we will probably have to take him out for a couple of weeks when the inevitable does happen.

How are you? Had a quick skim of the threads since before Christmas, but there is too much to catch up. Big news is jbm though...Congratulations to you and your soon to be DH!

milkyJammy · 07/01/2008 19:45

Hi Daisy. I'll be off in a few mins to get tea, just waiting for pasta to cook at the mo, but will then be back.

Hi Norty too

foxythesnowman · 07/01/2008 20:06

hello! just settling down.

Good to see you Daisy!

DaisyBoo · 07/01/2008 20:18

hey foxy

someone to talk to....yay

hope you had a good Christmas. It must have been madness in your house. Ours was bad enough with just the two of them. DS over the moon with his PS2, but it is already under threat of confiscation for his behaviour. He gets so involved that he goes into major meltdown mode when asked to switch it off. It's off limits through the week and limited use at weekends......I was warned that he was too young, but would I listen???

DH is going to download all our photos in a bit so I'll get them on facebook. He took some really nice ones of me and the DCs. I look vaguely normal and attractive.....and that's without any doctoring in photoshop
