Hi folks, hope you and yours are all ok.

Poor T - he has been in the wars!

CD, hope dh is better soon.

POTC, hope you get the pimp wagon!

GMM, glad you had such a good day.

All ok here. B much better - dh has been stuffing her with Calpol and Nurofen! K has been a pita tho - really whingy. Assuming it is teeth as she is over the virus thing [fingers crossed emoticon]! She rolled off the bed this morning - woops!

Right, off to watch Coldplay Live on DVD, so sleep well and see you tomorrow. x

No offence to anyone (it's not good that our babies are injured ) but it's good to hear that I'm not the only one
My mum looked at me aghast when T hit his head (gently) as he was climbing our coffee table and I said "well the more he does it the sooner he'll learn" Don't know why she looked like that, apparently I fell down stone steps and had 2 black eyes at about his age she was worried people would think they were hitting me!
Lol at N the stunt man pesha!

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 20:46

Glad B is improving SOL, how about you?

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 20:48

Oh and I forgot to say gmm, although it's your birthday so I'll let you off!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 20:51

yes SOL, how are you coping with all the illness in your house?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:01

new thread time?

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 21:03

I think so, a new year theme?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:10

'tis your turn lovely

was thinking, I was initially joking about Christmas next year, but do you think some people would be up for it?

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 21:12

Hmm OK mine's not going to be festive though, I warn you, if it was it would say "April 2007 - goodbye and good riddance to the worst Christmas ever"

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 21:14

Not sure about next Christmas, sorry, don't think I could go for such a break from the norm

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:36

I wasn't meaning you SPB, mainly cos you still have to find excuses to post on here, which may make coming to a christmas gathering a little tricky

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:37

although, I guess you could do something similar to the 'My Family' christmas special this year, book into the same hotel and just keep finding excuses to sneak off

StealthPolarBear · 29/12/2007 21:37

lol hadn't thought
would have to have a huge pile of washing to fold that year

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:38

is that where you are supposed to be now?

am laughing lots here!

Sexmasonlegs · 29/12/2007 21:43

Can't even be arsed to watch the Coldplay DVD!

Feeling a bit better thanks, but still have a chesty cough, stuffed up nose, and just feel drained of every ounce of energy! Must be my age!

Pmsl at huge pile of laundry to fold!

It is our turn to be with my parents next year, so will stick with that plan, but Xmas 2009??????

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:46

like I can think that far ahead!

Eddas · 29/12/2007 21:47

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 21:48

Eddas · 29/12/2007 21:50

thought you'd say that BUT £120 is ds' new pushchair so not bad really! Another £20 was new trainer to replace the ones i've worn out since I bought them back in Sept 06 so really, I am a good girl

fpesha · 29/12/2007 21:51

Are you all seriously talking about next christmas

God I haven't even decided what I'm going to do new year yet!!

D upstairs crying, I've had my go at getting him to sleep and failed obviously, so now dp is having a go. Why wont he sleep???
Ok so I know its cos he poorly but you know some babies sleep more when they're ill, why cant I have one of them?!?

Eddas · 29/12/2007 21:51

trainers i do need two i'm not one legged!

fpesha · 29/12/2007 21:52

Oooh new pushchair, whad'ya get?!?

Eddas · 29/12/2007 21:53

pesha, ds was a nightmare last night, dh pursaded me to just leave him in his cot. We had nurofened him, changed butt, given milk etc etc and nothing helped. After 10-15 mins he stopped crying and slept all night. they can be blighters. DS is not well either bless him so i'm sure that's why he's being a pita

Sexmasonlegs · 29/12/2007 21:55

Eddas, did wonder about buying a trainer! I was thinking personal trainer!

Eddas · 29/12/2007 21:56

maclaren techno xt

needed a smaller one as currently use a graco travel system but it's huge and if we keep my sisters car it fills the boot! We do have a bruin buggy but it's a bit crap for using all the time. Might let SIL have that for when she has ds
