Morning! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GMM! Hope you have a fabby one.

Sorry about your dog Caz, it is so hard to lose a loved pet. I´m glad it was peaceful and at home.

Stole the walker from mum and dad´s house so N is happily stood in that which should give me some breathing space this morning to mumsnet do some housework. This pm we´re hopefully dumping leaving him with my parents so we can go wander round town and have some much needed time together. Dh has been a bit down and I think seeing how much time and energy N takes during the day has been a real shock to him.

Hope everyone has a nice day.. x

Eddas · 29/12/2007 09:27

Sexmasonlegs · 29/12/2007 09:44

Morning!!

Happy Birthday GMM.

Maveta/Eddas, hope you have lovely dc-free days.

Elf, glad that you and dh have had a chat. Hope you are feeling perkier today x

CD, hope your dh is ok. Sounds like the dreaded lurgy.

Hope everyone is ok today.

B is rough poor mite. Had a temp of 40 this morning . She is a dreadful patient as well, which is even harder when both dh and I still feel ropy.

The joys of parenthood.

Right, need to haul myself in to the shower - can't believe it is 9.45 already!
x

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 09:57

not on the bus, going to view a car instead

J can go ..... (insert your own expletive here)

elkie - not saying they will be there, but searching for the items won't work, sometimes it takes up to 24hrs for them to appear on searches, the listing could be there, and would show in the category, but not when you enter the details in a search.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 09:58

erm dippy - poor thing ?????
send 'em in with a wet flannel to give daddy a hug

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 09:59

fpesha · 29/12/2007 12:01

OMG somehow just lost a huge post, clicked on new tab to find a link and the whole window disappeared

Cant be bothered to write it all again now, will try again later maybe. Main things were -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GMM

Is it me or are there a disproportionate amount of us with Nov/Dec birthdays?!

And Sol - really sorry you all are/have been so poorly

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 29/12/2007 12:14

Happy Birthday GMM

and Pesha you will pleased to hear that I am a March birthday - no need to try to remember that though - I'll be mentioning it again

Dippy - sorry dh is ill - could his parents take at least one of the girls (they won't have all three is that right?) Oh and I read about the girl's presents and P's lack of one - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrh on your behalf!

Will be back again when things get back to normal here.

Sexmasonlegs · 29/12/2007 16:31

Oh no Luce. Hope they are all better soon. xx

Eddas · 29/12/2007 16:57

Hello

sorry so many people seems so porrly atm i guess winter just brings it all out.

DS is suffering atm, think it's a lot to do with teeth and he also had a VERY snotty nose which he's wiped to his eyes so now has gooey eyse too thing is he had gooey eyes for about the first 2 months so i know that drops won't go in his eyes so all I can do is wipe the goo away and after a few days it'll be fine.

fpesha · 29/12/2007 17:00

Oh no luce, hope they're all better soon and its just a 12/24 hour thing

Sooo tired today, not sure why but just have no energy to do anything and D is being really demanding today wanting lots of attention.

Started off the day with lots of energy and managed to do some more work on DD's painting while D was asleep. I started painting her a Bratz pic on canvas when I was pg but then got too big and tired to finish it and haven't touched it since Decided as she's at her dad's and I've tidied her room I should get on with it now so can hang it by time she comes back. Finished the hair last night and today have just been redoing bits I wasn't happy with. I think all it needs now is the black eyelashes and brows going over again and I should be done. The problem is I am a perfectionist but my skills dont quite live up to my expectations so I could just keep on tweaking it for hours untill I've completely ruined it!

Getting a headache now, is it nearly bedtime?!?

fpesha · 29/12/2007 17:02

Wiping is all we're doing with D's eyes Eddas, they keep looking better so I think they're on the mend and dont go drs but then they get bad again. This cold/cough/eye thing he has is really dragging on and showing no signs of getting better He sounds so poorly too

CaptainDippy · 29/12/2007 17:40

Poor you Luce! Hope you are all better soon.

I am exhausted - can't wait til bedtime .....

DH's parents are now in New Zealand, NL - so no hope of any help from them. Sigh.

Arse.

Right, best go and tend to dinner before it burns .....

Ooooh, my friend had a baby boy by C-Section (planned) this pm - a little boy called Reubyn, he was a month early as her waters broke! He was 5lb 14oz, wee dote.

ElfPolarBear · 29/12/2007 18:32

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/12/2007 19:22

CaptainDippy · 29/12/2007 19:23

It's Flu - extremes of temp, bunged up, light-headed, tired ..... blah .... blah ..... blah .....
