Ooo its quiet tonight Just had a bath now off to bed, came back for a reason but cant remember what it was!

Oh well night ladies xx

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 19/12/2007 22:57

Evening all

We've had a really nice night here - been over to a near by town where a family from church live. They had booked the whole cinema there (ok only 80 seats) for a showing of the Nativity film. So dh took dd1&2 and B and I stayed by the fire in friends huge house. Then everyone came back for a drink and mince pie etc - really good time.

Oooggs - sorry to hear about your loss, hope you get all sorted for the travel

Ange - what an awful week! Still at least it has been now not at Christmas itself.

EPB - do hope things settle soon. It is horrible to be fighting and feeling wund up isn't it?

Dippy {{{{{{hug}}}}}}} - your life is not a constant round of drudgery - it's a constant round of carinng admittedly it's not always easy to see the difference....

Helllllllllloooooooooooo! to everyone else!

elkiedee · 19/12/2007 23:47

Sorry to hear several of you are feeling rough again.

Oooggs, sorry to hear about your dh's nan. Jealous of all of you who still have your own grandparents to meet your babies though - my last one died when I was 25 - she already had about 5 or 6 great grandchildren as most of my cousins are older and had kids younger.

Hugs to EPB, CD and anyone in need of them.

I should be going to bed soon.

Sleep vibes to all the April thread babies and their siblings.

elkiedee · 20/12/2007 00:00

Scary, there's now 3 more babies for the May 2008 thread. Think I'd better stay away from there for a few months in case it's catching!

Idreamofchocolate · 20/12/2007 07:26

Morning! Trying to have a quiet 5 mins eating my breakfast before I get S up and fed and start the school run, finish my Christmas shopping, off to a friend's for lunch, pick Em up from school, another friend's for tea, and my work's Christmas party tonight. Knackered just thinking about it all.

Emily jabbering away next to me - why do 5 year olds never stop talking, even when they're talking utter tosh?. Currently she's 'cooking' her PJs on top of the oven .

OK, better whizz, have a fab day all!

Sexmasonlegs · 20/12/2007 08:47

Morning all.

Just a quick question.

K was sick in her cot last night - sorry if you are eating breakfast.

She doesn't seem ill - has had breakfast - well some of it, and all her milk. She is due to go to nursery today as B and I have had plans for months to do something together.

So, do I take her?????

She has a chesty cough which could account for her puking??

Hope you are all well, and have lovely days.

Octo · 20/12/2007 09:28

Morning - a very chilly morning as my heating/boiler has gone freeeeeeeezzzzinnnng

Ooggs sorry to hear your sad news - thinking of you xxx

Will catch up later - british gas coming between 12-6 .... taps fingers - quite pleased they are coming today tbh! and truly amazed!

xxxx

Octo · 20/12/2007 09:29

SOL - probably sick due to cough. If seems happy and normal you could send her - its more bugs that they get upset about.

fpesha · 20/12/2007 09:33

i would send her sol, thionk babies being sick is different to toddlers being sick.

AndaPinionsinaPearTree · 20/12/2007 09:47

Sol - if I were going to work, then yes would have to take her. If it wasn't essential, then no I don't think I would, unless you thought that was it.

Sorry but I am a total wuss.

DippyChristmas · 20/12/2007 10:21

I'd take her, SOL - They can always ring you if she needs to be picked up. Enjoy your special day with B!

Morning all!

iMustBeMad · 20/12/2007 10:23

I've taken Joe in that situation SOL, I think that coughing in the night quite often makes them sick

erm Elkie, why have you been watching the May 2008 thread?

iMustBeMad · 20/12/2007 10:23

Oi you, I'm boreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

runnyhabbit · 20/12/2007 10:26

Morning

sol I would take her. And if she becomes poorly again, nursery will ring. TMI alert - it was probably her way of getting rid of phlegm. W has been doing it a bit this week, but only over me

dipster how are you this morning?

geordiemacminxpie · 20/12/2007 10:26

Think she meant 2007?

runnyhabbit · 20/12/2007 10:29

Hope I'm not going to be quite so random today

J has got his Christmas concert this afternoon - he is a shepherd[proud mummy emoticon] will take lots of pics in his costume (must remember to charge camera battery)

Going to get W weighed this morning. Wonder how much the porker weighs now

Have a nice day
