I'm sure someone is supposed to be starting a new thread today - EPB is it you? Sorry about the bad nights.
Hi Elkie - sorry to hear about the row - it's beastly isn't it.
Pinions - how big was the tree - and I think we need pictures - I'm assuming you took one of T prone beneath the branches before you rescued him?
Eddas - that is seriously BAD. I got a really bizarre scrunchie one year at work - but at least it came with yummy chocs.
NGT - hoping you are ok?

Hello everyone else

Idreamofchocolate · 22/12/2007 11:54

Oh SOL, poor you and B. There's so much sickness amongst the April mummies and DCs. Hope you feel better soon, get DH to look after you.

Have eaten some chocolate, feeling a bit better about the scales now (like the suggestion though Octo). TBH my mum pissed me off this morning too, so was in a grump when I went into the loft.

Right, gotta crack on, catch all you lovely ladies later...

ElfPolarBear · 22/12/2007 11:56

TBH my title isn't festive so should probably wait until after Christmas.
SOL, poor B and you You've had an awful time of it recently.
IDOC - I sympathise

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 22/12/2007 11:58

Oh SOL - I missed your post when I was typing mine so so sorry about the party Does B like Strictly Come Dancing - you cuold watch the final with her if your both up to it - with some very plain food!

Octo · 22/12/2007 12:31

SOL - I felt like that last month when I had pleurisy - hurt to breathe - got antibiotics same day and sorted it out - if you do have it and leave it to linger it can take ages to go Hope its not but do go get checked out if you are rough.

Catch up later ladies xxxxxx

Sexmasonlegs · 22/12/2007 12:47

Hi all

Thank you for your kind words and suggestions. Poor B - she is never ill, and this has knocked her over. I have a phobia of people being sick as well, so am useless - I go in to a complete panic. Dh is getting some brownie points!

iMustBeMad · 22/12/2007 13:31

I will start a new thread, but only if Katy posts her title idea so that we can remember it for after Christmas!

Justin came and went without trauma, took a couple of pictures that were his and he'd forgotten about until he saw them on the wall. and he gave me money without me even having to ask!

I have wrapped presents and put them under the tree, and got stockings ready.

about to text Pesha, her rant at ParcelForce must have worked, they attempted to deliver a parcel yesterday but I wasn't in so I should get it Monday instead

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 22/12/2007 13:34

That's all good to hear IMBM - are you ok today - not sore from the accident?

iMustBeMad · 22/12/2007 13:40

No, have had no soreness at all, and would have expected it to come out by now, with the bump I had in October it hit 18hrs later, it's now over 40hrs since.

just received a chain email containing St Theresa's prayer, a couple of lines did stick in my mind

"May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be."
"May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you."

not sure about the trust in God bit, but I am certainly now sure that this is where I'm meant to be
And I will most definitely be passing on the love you've all shown to me

Would help if I didn't keep crying every time I look at your tree

Octo · 22/12/2007 16:43

You so need to be a reborn christian (no offence anyone!)

Octo · 22/12/2007 16:50

Is that tumbleweed????

ElfPolarBear · 22/12/2007 17:12

Hi octo!
Just a quick one, loads of family coming, so off to wrap their presents quickly

Octo · 22/12/2007 17:14

Tumbleweed and a polar bear - great! ....

fpesha · 22/12/2007 17:18

Tumbleweed, a Polar Bear and an octopus! Theres somethinh you dont see every day!

Octo · 22/12/2007 17:20

I am feeling rude this evening! Hmmmm too many threads to choose from ... must contain it, must contain it .... (((haywire)))

Octo · 22/12/2007 17:38

Okay so would the polar bear eat the ocotpus or vise versa???? Who is the alpha predator - I am thinking the polar bear would win as they eat fish but octopus do not eat polar bear - or do they and do they both eat tumbleweed or not???

Octo · 22/12/2007 17:53

okat then - if it keeps you happy I will eat the polar bear.

Octo · 22/12/2007 18:06
Hmm
Idreamofchocolate · 22/12/2007 18:28

No, no Octo, I think you'll find this explains it all.

Sexmasonlegs · 22/12/2007 19:02

Octo, what are you on??? Can I have some please????

Feel like sh**. B is on the up tho thankfully.

Sorry for a gross question at dinner time, and yes it is about poo!!!! How long should I be expecting yukky nappies for after a tummy bug? K was only sick the once, but has had yuk nappies for 3 days now and is really off her food. I am sick of it and the amount of washing -grrrrrr

We are supposed to be driving to South Devon tomorrow for Christmas - cannot face that one bit.

Sorry, that was a really whingy post.

Hope you are all ok.

Idreamofchocolate · 22/12/2007 19:10

SOL - I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. Maybe start a new thread to ask more broadly on MN? How does she seem in herself?

notgoodtiming · 22/12/2007 19:20

Sorry I have been really busy - the drs went well and now just to let nature take it course and aim towards 12 weeks it has sunk in. Dr worried me with the 'it is still early days and miscarriage is common'.

I will contact the midwife after Christmas and hopefully will then put you all in the picture.

I am worried about revealing myself because of rl people finding me and even though this has come as a shock to us, it will be a bigger one for those who know us in real life.

Not impressed of having another alcohol free Christmas

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 22/12/2007 19:25

HI NGT - hope things continue to go well for you - nver mind about the drink - maybe next year

Sexmasonlegs · 22/12/2007 19:30

Hi NGT, been thinking about you today. Hope you and the bean are feeling ok.

IDOC, K seems fine in herself - as happy as larry, but more tired than usual, but I guess that is because she has less energy atm.

Hi NL. Finished wrapping???

fpesha · 22/12/2007 19:40
