Hello everyone

NGT - Still thinking of you

Oooggs - Great title!

Having a shit week really, first of all J had impetigo, getting better now so hopefully will be able to go back to pre-school on Friday. I've had a bit of a sore throat since Sunday, but last night and today it has been unbearable, I'm not eating anything, am trying to drink but that hurts too, I made an app for the drs this pm and just as I was getting ready to leave, Izzy threw up all over me so all in all it's just horrible here.

Oh I now have abs for tonsillitus(sp) Great big tablets that are really easy to swallow with a sore throat

Will try and catch up more later xx

Sexmasonlegs · 19/12/2007 17:39

Hi folks.

Ange, what a nightmare week indeed. Hope you are all feeling better soon. x

Caz, enjoy the bingo -sounds great fun!

B broke up from school today too, and am looking forward to the lie in too !

Well, I turned up for the baby clinic to be told by the Receptionist it wasn't on!!! I was bloody fuming.

Came home, and about half an hour later, the HV called and was v apologetic. She had put it in the diary but the Receptionist hadn't seen it .

So, will have to wait until the New Year.

Hey ho.

Hope you are all well.

Sexmasonlegs · 19/12/2007 19:09

Oh Katy, what are you fighting over?

Something to cheer you up - a big HUG (I can't do links to pictures of chocolates and stuff!!)

geordiemacminxpie · 19/12/2007 19:14

Katy - moving house and having a baby are two of the most stressful things that you can go through - coupled with xmas its not surprising that you are under so much pressure. Hopefuly once dh finishes work for the holidays you'll both be able to relax!!

iMustBeMad · 19/12/2007 19:18

to cheer up Katy

ElfPolarBear · 19/12/2007 19:28

Thanks everyone
Anything for a quiet life at the moment!

jingleoooggs · 19/12/2007 19:36

iMustBeMad · 19/12/2007 19:43

oooggs
will you be going?

Maveta · 19/12/2007 19:46

sorry oooggs what sad news.

And a hug to you too Elfykatybear, it´s horrible when you have a patch of rowing like that, isn´t it? Any chance of someone watching T for a couple of hours and letting you both go for a quick meal or drink together?

IMBM. Email. Now.

um. Dippy! Tell your friend she has rather wonderful taste in names. I consider myself an inspiration

Does anyone know if you can buy dressing gowns for babies?

jingleoooggs · 19/12/2007 19:47

don't know yet if dh is going with brother or whether we are going with dcs (not to the funeral to the wake) don't see family often and they haven't met the dts. It next friday 28th. But we would need to go up day before and stay in a travel lodge so we will see.

Sexmasonlegs · 19/12/2007 19:47

That's sad news Oooggs. I'm sorry. .

jingleoooggs · 19/12/2007 19:48

rather than a dressing gown we had those all in one thingys which zip up but with legs in the same fleecy material

OP posts:
fpesha · 19/12/2007 19:49

Yes you can, all over the place. Do you want fleecey/soft fluffy or towelling to dry?

iMustBeMad · 19/12/2007 19:50

Maveta yes maam
Joe has several dressing gowns
what size are you after?
Boots/Mothercare/Matalan all do them over here
oooggs, I'm further the other way, but much much closer to Leicester, about hour and half, if I can help in any way let me know

jingleoooggs · 19/12/2007 19:51

cheers IMBM - I will wait until I am told what we are doing

fpesha · 19/12/2007 19:53

Soory Oooggs didnt read thread first. How is dh?

Katy sorry about you and your dh. Jamie and I were having a few problems a while back but have been better since he went back to work! Having a baby does place a huge amount of stress on a relationship I think. And as others have said add moving and xmas to that and its no wonder.

Maveta · 19/12/2007 19:54

I want a red fleecey one. He has one of those suits with feet but sometimes at 5am it´s a pain to put him in it for the 30mins he´s awake and I think a dressing gown would be a quicker alternative. Not seen many here though

Thanks, I´ll let my sister know, maybe she can have a look before she comes out on friday..

geordiemacminxpie · 19/12/2007 19:59

maveta

jingleoooggs · 19/12/2007 19:59

dh is ok, but did get tearful when he read ds1's birthday card from her last week. Think brother is doing his own thing so I am looking for travel lodges close by

what else is cheap?
