just got back in to find d was still asleep from when i went to work so came on to post but he has no woken up.

Anyway will just quickly say I think tyhe goat is fab!!

I told Ellie already I did not contribute to the money and I was going to send something for a bauble but I'm also not very good at saying things like that so never quite got round to it, just couldnt find the right words. But Ellie knows I think she's fab!! Or I hope so anyway Cos I do, I think you're all gorgeous!! Right really must go

Sexmasonlegs · 21/12/2007 13:36

Hi Kneehigh - sorry you have poorly dc's again. Hope they are all better soon.

Just to say that I have emailed Norma back - did so this morning.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 13:38

KHIN - I think it was very reasonable and supportive of you to post as you have. Like SOL I have mailed NB earlier today.

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 21/12/2007 13:46

KHIN, i understand your post and was going to email her a very nice friendly email as I realise she is in need of support and obviuosly has wider issues that we don't know about. I think it's wonderful that you are able to help her out but TBH The thread today has not helped one little bit. I too think mn could be a lifeline for her but the way she has gone about things is all wrong. I haev told her that. I am not judging abything about the affair quite frankly it's none of my business. But what has really really annoyed me is the total insincereity of what she posts. It may just be that this is the way it comes accross in written form. I do believe she regrets the whole thing. However from earlier threads it is somewhat suspicious when 'other' people post yeah me too i was flirting etc with hd(or things to that effect)

She needs to have christmas, reflect on what's happened. Work out what she wants, if she wants friendship then trust needs to be earnt back. She needs to change her mn. For one it's related to the reason she's in such a mess and 2ndly no-one on mn will EVER view her the same way.

I truely feel that she needs support and hope that we see her back in a lot happier state in the not so distant future.

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 21/12/2007 13:47

her mn name

KneehighinYellowSnow · 21/12/2007 14:02

I wasn't aware that there was a thread eddas but I have now read it and agree 100% with you she does need to take a break come back in the new year with a new name, that is the only way she will be able to come back on mn without being "that woman".
I have also told her that prehaps she needs to get some professional help in the form of some councelling, so I hope she takes my advice on these matters.

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 14:05

KHIN - Thanks for your post.

I have similar things to say as Eddas. I have 'spoken' to NB recently and agree that she does need both help and support especially in RL.

However the thread has not helped her at all, especially as she kept posting. She needs to take some time away and reflect and decide with her DH and possibly GP/councellor(sp) if it's in her best interests to come back to MN.

I also agree with Eddas that if/when she returns she must change her posting name...too much has gone on.

I truely wish her well and hope that she can get the help and support she needs.

Have I scared everyone away?

runnyhabbit · 21/12/2007 15:18

No

Just lurking and offering advice on postnatal SPD

Don't think we can name our goat. Maybe we could just nickname her April (seeing us we meet through babies meant to be born in April)
I'm so original

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:20

I did mean nickname - not suggesting we send her new owners a demand to call her Beetroot - for example. I like April though - kind of works for a goat

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:22

Oh good I haven't scared everyone off

April sounds like a good name to me!

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:23

I had to go out school - home now avoiding wrapping presents

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:24

Give them to me I LOVE wrapping presents.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:30

Here - catch!

(Ange disappears beneath mound of unwrapped gift items)

I've realised why they've taken more hiding than in previous years - I'm hiding for three now! How stupid am I - that's only just dawned on me.

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:34

Caught them, just been to get tape, paper, tags and bows.

Ange gets worryingly excited.

lol at only just realising you're hiding presents for 3!!!

runnyhabbit · 21/12/2007 15:39

I used to love wrapping presents: co-ordinating bows, ribbon and paper.

Then I had children.......

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:41

bows, ribbon - errrrm ooooooops - my third child is not the only thing I've forgotten

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:41

I know what you mean! I still get some SPD pain from wrapping because I sit cross legged on the floor to do it!

How is yours now?
Thanks for the email!

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:42

PMSL NL

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:46

I'm sending very plain presents this year!

I have to go upstairs and get them all out - but I just can't......

runnyhabbit · 21/12/2007 15:48

SPD sucks

But bizarrey, it eased off when I had my period It's back with a venegance now though. Physio gave me some exercises, which are I can start to feel working. Go back and see her on 2nd Jan.
She seems to think that because I'm still bf, the hormones that are being released are affecting the ligaments.

runnyhabbit · 21/12/2007 15:50

I've got Simpson wrapping paper.

Maggie is a blue snowsuit thingy, and J pointed to her shouting "bruva". W has a blue snowsuit thingy too

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:51

Makes sense about bf I suppose. Mine is generally pretty good, but I still can't do loads of walking or wear heals for very long.

Sounds like it's hormone related if it eased of when you had a period!

NL - GO GET THOSE PRESENTS, Please

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 15:52

Oh bless Runny that's so sweet!

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 21/12/2007 15:52

I'm going, I'm going
