Ooooh, going to say before I forget - I am off to my mum's () today until Monday - she doesn't have the Internet (lives in Medieval times and I mean it!! No toaster, no microwave, still has a telephone with circular dial thing in it!!!!) So I won't be on over the weekend, just wanted you to know so don't worry!! I'll be in and out today though .....

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 21/12/2007 09:04

IMBM, so glad you are ok and the boys weren't with you. You are being so positive and it's lovely to hear I've come to realise that a car is just a piece of metal, albeit an important one that makes life easier, at times. But at least the only thing that got hurt, apart from bruises was the car. If you want to rant about cars I think i'm the person to do it too so feel free

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 21/12/2007 09:08

CD, enjoy your time away in the dark ages

NB, i'm going to send you an email later. I really hope you manage to sort things out. I think what you need is time to deal with being a mum, which is so very hard and takes a lot of getting used to. Try to have a good christmas and try to learn to like yourself again because I think that maybe the crux of the problems. I know you have lots of things to deal with and I sincerely hope that you can overcome them all and have a happy life with your dh and dd

I have a manic few days ahead so if I don't come on alot that's why. Mind you i'd think lots of us will be very busy this week

YvieE · 21/12/2007 09:23

I haven't been on for ages and haven't had time to read the thread but just wanted to say Merry Christmas Ladies - I should be on over christmas, as i have 2 weeks off before i start my new job. Sorry i missed the grand opening EllieK, and also about the car accident, hope you are ok. Can't wait to catch up with you all and see how the little ones have grown. A million kisses - YvieE

iMustBeMad · 21/12/2007 09:26

Yvie!

IMBM I hope you read my message that I am so pleased you are OK and the boys weren't with you because I am about to say something very flippant (hopefully will cheer you up).
I PMSL at:
"He was really lovely, helped me out of the car, and managed not to mention the fact that he must have seen my underwear (clean I might add ) as my bag was open and it had all spilled out "
Implication being that the only underwear you had was in your bag especially after our conversation the other night

Morning everyne
Just had to say that

NGT thinking of you xx

ElfPolarBear · 21/12/2007 09:55

Missed Yvie's post completely - congratulations!
Just been reading the other thread and it reminded me - what has happened to out LuciousLadyLush? Apologies if she's still here as a name changer!

christmascrackerboldy · 21/12/2007 10:11

really glad you are all ok Ellie.

have a hood time Dippy! Will miss you!!
Yes Molly does the mummummummumm thing and she also does dadda and nana!

DippyChristmas · 21/12/2007 10:19

Hi Yvie!! Good to hear from you - I am sure Sarai is as scrummy as ever, congrats on the new job!

Brain emptied again - have all DD's here this am - DD1 & 2 driving me mad already - constant bickering, fighting, crying - At least P's sleeping.

DippyChristmas · 21/12/2007 10:21

Ah, yes, Caz, I remember you saying about M's "talking" - Anyone else!!?

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 10:42

Hello all,

Just skimmed thread and read people saying congrats to Yvie - I thought she was NGT!!

Congrats on the new job Yvie and great to see you.

NGT - Thinking of you today.

Ellie so glad you're ok. xx

Dippy - Izzy says mumumum and dadadada, I think she tries to say cat and Jake as well but prob only so I can understand! Hope you have a good time at your mums.

My shit week continues - Izzy threw up again last night at 6.30pm (I was being picked up at 6.55 for our mumsgroup christmas night out)Dh still hadn't come home from work!! He came in at 6.45, bless him said I should go out, which I did, no texts from him all evening so I wasn't sure what to expect when I came in at 12.40. Izzy had been an angel and was asleep, but J had thrown up so was in our bed. Then I woke up at 2am and threw up(not alcohol related I should add!! It's so great throwing up when you have a sore throat!!

Anyway everyone seems ok today, lets hope that's the end of it. I've decided I should be greatful that's it's happening now and not Christmas day.

ellesbelles · 21/12/2007 10:44

Weeonion, you are merry now! Hi matey, glad you got over to your folks ok. Let us know how c enjoyed Santa. How is DP getting over to you ? flying?

IMBM ? cheers for updating the stats thread and putting me in it ? really kind ta. Glad you are ok too.

Guy upstairs had one of his parties last night til 5am, so a bit bleary eyed today ? cannot wait to move from this flat into a wee house?

iMustBeMad · 21/12/2007 10:56

that's ok Katy, but I must point out, I was wearing clean (and matching) underwear

(didn't think it appropriate to share that with my good samaritan though!)

ElfPolarBear · 21/12/2007 10:57

Ange, sounds like you're all sick Hope it's over soon
EB, when are you moving? We moved at the beginning of this month [shudder]
No talking here yet, lots of "aaaahhh" and "ooohhhh" (sounds dodgy!) and the odd "Ahhhh-BLOOOOO" or "GAAAAAAAAAAAHH" When we say "dadada" or "mamama" to him he looks all serious and as if he's concentrating though, it's so sweet He also has a hand fixation as well, spends ages just turning his hands round and round, opening and closing, opening and closing. Sometimes puts them together and sort of wiggles them, like a dance I keep telling DH he's going to be a beautician!

ElfPolarBear · 21/12/2007 10:58

well imbm there's a first time for everything!
Don't think i've worn matching underwear this milleniun

AngeGabriel · 21/12/2007 11:16

Forgot to say welcome to Ellesbelles Lovely to have you hear Hope there are no more parties tonight.

IMBM - Glad you had matching underwear on Like EPB I can't remember the last time I wore matching underwear.

EPB - He sounds just gorgeous, I love this stage!!

iMustBeMad · 21/12/2007 11:16

ah see, I'm a little OCD on that one, get really panicky if not wearing matching
feeding bras are a nightmare to get matching for

speaking of which, OW OW OW OW OW
I have waaaaay too much milk in there now, must be at least 2 cup sizes bigger!

ellesbelles · 21/12/2007 11:19

EPB - moving as soon as we possibly can, but finding it hard to get ANY time to do the last wee bits in the flat in order to put it on the market for sale. No point worrying about it now til after Christmas, I suppose.

Double A was going through a stage where she said mamamamamamamamam for a while but now just back to squealing like a piglet, which is nice (!)

Well done on matching underwear IMBM - I'm still wearing my mat pants - huge and black and horrible .

Really need to get some control ones soon to keep the gut from wobbling like a jelly on a plate - maybe this afternoon as off shopping on my own for once. Any ideas where to get good yet cheap ones?

elkiedee · 21/12/2007 11:24

I like my underwear to match too, was very disappointed when pregnant by the difficulty of finding bras I liked and then matching up.

DippyChristmas · 21/12/2007 11:27

Matching underwear!!!!!? What is this!!?

Right, friends coming for lunch and then DD's 1 & 2 nursery Party this pm, then off to mum's - don't know if I'll get on again ....... So Byeeeeeeeeee! xx

fpesha · 21/12/2007 11:30

EB - next actually do good cheap control underwear. Not that I know from experience or anything

fpesha · 21/12/2007 11:31

DippyChristmas · 21/12/2007 11:31

ellesbelles · 21/12/2007 11:33
