Have just got back from a bracing walk round the village (with DS2 kicking and screaming) so I feel SO much better now the cobwebs have blown off (and I got £13s worth of turkey crown from the co-op for £3, don't need it but couldn't resist, will freeze it and might invite my parents round on new years eve) alsi it's dark so I can't see the grey miserable sky anymore. It's been a real SAD day today.

DH is cooking roast pork and we might have a small glass of somethimng in a minute... Life is rosy

Well the "MIL" has been ferried home for the night and half an hour later the phone went - "didnt I get a Xmas Card? I saw JBM writing them the other week??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
WTF!!!! she's just spent 6 hrs with us and she's got home and is moaning about a F**ing card???
I DONT give cards to my family FFS - only people that Im NOT spending Xmas with me - Obviously the news that we're getting engaged an hour earlier went out the window!!

Hi all. Wierd pressies? Well MIL bought DD a highchair, not exactly wierd but we are flying home in 3 weeks time so ????? I picked my pressies from DH - some new undies & Kath & Kim DVD. I did get a surprise from him though - not a diamond, no eternity ring either, but a Kath keyring that came free with the DVD. I am blessed!

Well my weird present nomination goes to DDs GP who got her a "Name a star after yourself" tin....bet DD will really enjoy that

Morning. Feel much better today now Boxing Day has gone. The drizzly weather has stuffed my plans of a picnic and long walk at the forestry though.

DS3 got a car seat and highchair from my parents, but he has toys and clothes from both his brothers, and from my friends boys, so he didn't need a lot. He got a few choice toy items (Piglet mainly, and a cloth book my dad wanted him to have) though.I wanted to get my sister a name your own rose kit, but it was outside the budget she set (and you just don't not do what she says).

Apart from my two willow tree angels, I have had a very "Top Gear" christmas from DH...

I think I'm addicted to Baileys!

We are off to PIL in 2 days, all 8 of us crammed into their wee house. But at least I don't have to think about what the kids will eat. Just have to hope she doesn't serve me up anything rancid again!!

I am v of the rock jbm! I didn't get anything from my dp. He bought me the Boden coat, but I didn't like it, so it got returned and so I ended up with nothing! I didn't really mind at all though, I had a big blow out in Next this morning to make up for it!

The dcs have been spoilt rotten and we now have a house full of toys, dd's fave pressie was grandpa pig's train with little Peppa and George. It is really cute, but REALLY annoying!
