deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 18/12/2007 22:18

justbeme · 18/12/2007 22:27

Is it SS as the initials?? and no piccy?
( I thought you might have her Holly, but as your SOOOOO popular and have sooooo many friends, thought it would take me a while to find her!!)

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 18/12/2007 22:33

I am SERIOUSLY popular! SC with piccy!

most of my friends are people I haven't seen since school, I don't actually have that many friends!

justbeme · 18/12/2007 22:36

Holly, I know im tired (and Im going to bed in a minute) - but SC is someone you worked with at Jumpin Jaks???- tell you what - FB me a message (and then I'll feel v important !)

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 18/12/2007 22:38

Oh, I see, I have more than one SC!

I'll FB you now xx

TALLUBAHHUMBUGBELL · 19/12/2007 04:31

Just did quick catch up. don't suppose is anyone around at 4:30 am to chat so guess will post & bugger off.

Daisy. Thinking of you.

JBM re sleep qust. Advice was to always respond to crying. I guess it depends when she starts up again. Do you mean straight after you've settled her or after sleeping a while? If nap lasts less than hour then try to resettle - give it 10 min. If she's stirring as you tiptoe out then just reassure with a few pats & shushes.I leave DD awake as long as she is calm, even if a bit moany. If I hear DD cry after she's been asleep a short while I usually wait ( a few minutes) to see if it comes to anything - sometimes she cries out in her sleep, sometimes she just stirs, cries for a couple of min then back off to sleep. Also if L doesn't like the rocking, maybe just try gently patting on her tummy. I rock when DD is thrashing about, it seems to calm her down, but just pat as she is drifting off or if she is lying still but crying.

Annobal I am an Aussie citizen. But won?t be home till towards end of Jan. Too late for you?

Will try & catch the 'morning shift'. Need advice on nappy rash.

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 19/12/2007 06:55

Good morning

Nice to 'see' you tallulah, I can't help on nappy rash I'm afraid - I just slap on some Bepanthen and it seems to do the trick.

Wow on the cruising MHC, that is impressive yet scary! I'm finding it hard enough that I can't now leave DS even for a second without coming back to find him chewing on something he shouldn't, or wedged half way under the sofa. He is still trying desperately to crawl. He can go backwards pretty effectively but still can't work out how to get from reverse into first gear!

Off to my parents' today to see my sis who's back from Oz for Christmas, and meet her Aussie boyfriend. Am very excited. Have good days everyone

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 19/12/2007 07:49

Morning!

MHC - I meant to say yesterday that amount of movement sounds scary. Although part of me is eager for DD to get moving, part of me is also VERY relieved!

Nice to hear from you again Tallulah. Not much to say on nappy rash either. Not been much of a problem here. Occasionally use a dab of sudocrem or Kamillosan, but not often.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 19/12/2007 07:50

Fairy - will you be off-line while away?

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 19/12/2007 09:02

Hi Jammy, I'll be on-line off and on but not as much.

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 19/12/2007 09:31

Morning!

Glad you are still checking in Tallulah. Sorry sputnik, now help on the spiral stairs, but it would be great if you can hold my hand on the BLW.

I know most of your LOs are already crwaling/reciting Shakespearean monologues/getting PhDs but I would like to announce that DD rolled over for the first time yesterday (btw that sarcasm was taking the piss out of my not you guys!)

I tried to get her to do it again when her dad got home so put her on her tummy but bless her she was so tired and fed up she put her head in her hands and cried

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 19/12/2007 10:02

morning all.

thanks for all your lovely messages. You guys rock, you really do

mhc, thanks for your kind offer, that is soo nice of you, but I'm pretty much sorted now and what I haven't got yet can wait. The DCs are fixed and that' the most important thing.

First prize to DS2 on the cruising front! babyboo managed to propel herself forwards this morning and looked ever so surprised, but she hasn't managed it again so far.

holly, have FB'd you back. I can help!

jammy, you haven't moved your profile page to your christmas name so we can't see your pics!

and whoever is looking for mhc on fb, she is third on my list!

Can I start the Christmas ecards?

Merry Christmas from the Bumpers!

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 19/12/2007 10:07

Yes, about to email you daisy, but it's not urgent so don't bother yourself too much to do it!

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 19/12/2007 10:11

Done, thanks daisy

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 19/12/2007 11:08

Nice ecard Bumper! DD was bemused by it Btw DD did same thing with rolling the other day, was too tired to show DH her new trick when he got home But well done baby bumper!

Daisy, you're a star, with all your own stuff going on you still think of others!

Am very about my pay. After months (since July) of me repeatedly telling work my pay has been wrong over and over and I owe them a load of money and will they please sort it out, I got a letter today which basically said: You were regrettably overpaid by £2134. We have to recover the money immediately. Please send a cheque. Thankfully I can (was sensible enough to put money aside for this) but FFS! Asking for £2k+ immediately is just taking the ?

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 19/12/2007 11:40

oooooh! have just opened the parcels, and there are presents for me and DD from Santa! thankyou

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 19/12/2007 14:58

Why can't e-stores have their website linked to their stock computer. M&S did this to me a while ago; tis farking annoying. I LOVED that bag

DH will be beside himself with glee!
