Surely you are not suggesting going shopping without the DC's pulling each other's hair/poking each other whilst sat in the trolley? That sounds far too un-stressful.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 14:33

Firstly Fairy, you are NEVER being unreasonable to be pissed off at in-laws (I'll read your post now...)

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 14:59

Oh, Fairy, that's such a pain. Do you really want them there?

foxythesnowman · 18/12/2007 15:03

Bit rubbish of FIL IMHO.

Blardy in-laws.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 15:10

Just got delivered some Haig's chocolates (from Australia, that great chocolate producing nation ). I got aprichocs and freckles (actually I think the freckles were for the dcs...)

foxythesnowman · 18/12/2007 15:14

mmm Darrell Lea Rocky Road ....

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 15:17

Ooh, I love their liquorice! Haigs also do a very good rocky road... We didn't get any this time.

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 18/12/2007 15:37

No fairy YANBU......PILs are a law unto themselves I've decided; well mine are!

holly, I got my dilemma sorted

foxythesnowman · 18/12/2007 15:39

Hello Daisy! Am very curious about your dilemma .....

Annobal, they sell the liquorice in Sainsburys don't they?

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 15:42

Do they???? Am overly excited .

annobalthebignosereindeer · 18/12/2007 15:43

Am also curious about your dilemma Daisy.

foxythesnowman · 18/12/2007 15:45

I'm SURE they do - they come in brown-paper looking bags in all different flavours. I'll have a look next time I'm there, but I'm pretty sure. No Rocky Road though, which is a good thing or I'd be as big as this house I'm not tidying.

Sputnik · 18/12/2007 17:00

Yeah it's not fair to go mysteriously FBing each other you know

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 18/12/2007 17:14

nothing exciting really, just a dull question about postage, but if I'd said I've got a postage question, she'd never have looked

Spoke to my sis earlier; mum is now on IV medicines, including a mild sedative as she has been getting really distressed . Apparenly she was telling someone to go away and leave her alone earlier as she "wasn't ready yet". L said it was very spooky and quite frightening as mum was getting very upset about it and it needed both her and my older sis to calm her down. DH is coming home tomorrow and I'm going to go back up on Thursday with babyboo, and then he and DS will join us on Saturday.

It isn't looking likely that she will make it to Christmas
