Well I accidentally kissed him and woke him up! Asleep now though, although he wasn't easy to settle it wasn't a nightmare either. For anyone who's interested the light definitely makes a difference, unless it's almost pitch black he gets fixated looking at something, if it's dark he gets bored and nods off. No idea why it's only just become a problem but I assume it's a development thing. Anyway, for people who are still having sleep problems (and I do include myself in that, not counting chickens) it's worth trying.
Well off to stack the dishwasher and early night, in between checking for adverts!
