NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 17:12

told you spb - gravy

StealthPolarBear · 12/11/2007 17:14

I think it's more likely that he's deciding how he can use it to justify buying loads of geeky computer stuff!

StealthPolarBear · 12/11/2007 17:14

"But look, this external hard drive is only £1500"
"Yes, lovely dear"

NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 17:35

normabutty · 12/11/2007 17:36

NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 17:36

busywithIzzy · 12/11/2007 17:57

Hello

Mammyjo - I agree it would be a good idea to post likes/allergies etc for secret santa it would make my shopping easier and I would hate to get something somebody would hate/not like!!

SOL -Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy, hope you're better soon!

IDOC - Sorry you've all been so ill. Good luck with house moving stuff!

Katy - Did I day earlier T looks absolutely gorgeous as a sheep, bless him. Glad DH is ok about keyboard, mine is very similar and would hit the roof.

Eddas - hope your day improved.

CD - Hope you had a good time at the beach...you mad thing. Are you really a little less crazy today?

Still feeling a bit odd today...not ill exactly just not right.

busywithIzzy · 12/11/2007 17:58

CD - I meant are you feeling a little less crazy today...sorry

oooggs · 12/11/2007 18:20

hello - back later - just caught up but have to feed now

geordiemacminx · 12/11/2007 19:16

My crazy baby has just had Chicken curry (med-hot) and rice for his tea.... Dp and I were having it, he was sitting making a little sparrow mouth so I thought I would give him a wee bit - little toad lapped it up.... end up having half my tea!! Heaven help his nappies tomorrow

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 12/11/2007 19:34

gmm - re the nappies - thinking about it you would be best getting just two which you think are suited to you and trying them out rather than a random selection. I would recommend a large fuzzi and insert and a onelife with a rikki wrap or if chubby legs are an issue then a onelife or motherease popper wrap. I think these two will give you a better idea of what is available. I have both of these and from all the nappies I have tried they are probably my favourites. I am happy to lend you a onelife, a large nappy and wrap if you pay postage

Turkeyandsproutsx3 · 12/11/2007 19:36

I had my health visitor round earlier to check out ernies eye and to talk about food - he won't have lumps at all atm - she said not to worry and just try everything - we are having curry tonight gmm - maybe I'll save him some!

oooggs · 12/11/2007 20:50

quiet on here this evening

I am off to bed as dt1 keeps stiring and dt2 didn't drink his bedtime bottle so think I could be in for a night of it.

Will report back tomorrow x

NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 20:52

Hope its better than you fear oooggs

Idreamofchocolate · 12/11/2007 21:01

Oooggs, hope you're not in for a bad one.

LOL at little sparrow mouth GMM. I love their little sparrow mouths, so so cute! And, er, yes let us know about the nappy as I'm sure S would like curry (Em loves it too), but would have to time it to ensure Dh was on nappy duties at the appropriate time afterwards.

geordiemacminx · 12/11/2007 21:04

Octo - I have absolutely no idea about any of the nappies - probably best just going on your recommendations - especially since you have boys. I have £18 in my paypal so just whatever you have?

NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 21:16

IDOC - Just looked at the pictures on your profile - your girls are beautiful and so lovely together. HOw old is Emily?

geordiemacminx · 12/11/2007 21:20

They are gorgeous IDOC.... I would even consider letting S marry C!!!!

PeshaCake · 12/11/2007 21:21

BWI - your dh thinking crying baby automatically needs bf is exactly like my dp. In fact even dd does it now, if D starts crying or whinging she'll say 'er mummy he needs feeding', in her mini teenager voice! Aaargh!!!

Oooggs fingers crossed for a better night for you tonight and for all mummys (and daddys i suppose ) having crap nights. D started off well last night in that he didnt wake till 4 but then we couldnt get him back to sleep till 6 and there was some projectile vomiting in the middle of that Problem was he just wanted to comfort feed on me but after the puking i didnt want him feeding too much in case he did it again but then he got abit angry with me not letting him. Luckily dp got up in the end and calmed him down and he eventually went to sleep.

Went to Ikea today - that place just eats time and money doesnt it?! Had some birthday money for a rug for lounge as we have laminate flooring and cant see D ever learning to crawl on that! Also got 1 of their really cheapy highchairs (£15 including tray) to use as a travel one, specifically cos the pub we're having xmas lunch in dont have enough highchairs for us so we have to take one for that but I'm sure we'll use it lots more. Also got some dirt cheap bibs and storage things. Oh and dp bought me a pictur for my birthday 4 years ago but its 50x50 and we've never been able to find a frame for it but ikea had some so can finally get that put up now!!

And katy you can tell your dh he got off lightly. I've just reversed into dp's car He is NOT happy! Thing is stupid woman over the road always parks with her car hanging over the front of our driveway abit but tonight she was over it even more than normal and I hadnt realised so hadnt realised this meant I was in front of, not next to, dp's car. We have those stupid sun blocky out things on side windows but also on rear window and it was pitch black so only reverse lights so with that on window i could hardly see. And there was a car coming down the road so I was in a hurry to get parked. Um...I think thats my lot I cant believe it. I got that horrid OMFG feeling. I dont think its too bad, certainly no dents. The peugeot is fine as far as I can see. Dp's coupe has some slight scraping Will have to have a proper look in the morning. I keep hearing the bang! I feel like such a tw@t! Cant believe I did it

Sorry - another huge waffle from me DP's not really talking to me though so have to talk to someone

Sexonlegs · 12/11/2007 21:23

Evening all

V quiet on here tonight.

GMM, hope the curry nappies aren't too bad !

Oooggs, hope you have a better night than you are expecting.

Nowt going on here. Still feel rough as shite.

Dh said today how much he appreciated what I did after having the girls at the weekend. He said he was amazed at the amount of washing that was generated!!!

Welcome to a Woman's World!!

Idreamofchocolate · 12/11/2007 21:24

OOo thank you . Emily is 5 and loves having a little sister!

NorthernLurker · 12/11/2007 21:27
