Actually the NCT sale didn't seem too overcrowded to me. I was brought up on regular jumble sales as a kid and the old ladies at those are much scarier and more numerous than those at the sale this morning.

Erm, well as pesha quite rightly said you could steam in, I guess if you have a steamer, which we don't.

Personally I have never boiled it, but you could boil it either in water or in milk. Considering you are going to chop it up anyway, then chop it in half and make sure that the flesh is almost white, as opposed to pink, to be sure that it is cooked.

Alternatively you can put in the oven, spray with cooking oil, and "roast".Place in middle tray on medium heat.Pour very small amount of water into the tray/dish. Again chop in half just to make sure entirely cooked.

(Be warned if you are wanting to blend it the smell is atrocious!).

Waffle waffle. Bung it in the oven, then chop up! That's the most help I've been all night.

And be warned LEAVE MY PUMPKINS ALONE I BITE !!!

Morning all, not often I'm the first one up. D was tossing and turning all night, up at 1.30 am (?) for nappy and feed and then awake at 7. I've come downstairs with him because one of us had to, though dp has promised that he will look after D while I go back to bed for a bit later this morning. Yawn.
